Since SU9, has anyone else noticed that when first starting the sim, "checking for updates" now just barely appears then disappears? It used to stay visible for awhile. I'm hoping that my install is not messed up....Thank You

After installing the required updates, I set up a flight from KDAY to KCVG, in the stock cessna 172. What a bumpy ride! I deleted the wind layer when I set up the flight to NO avail. It was like I had real weather engaged. Tried several times and reboots, always the same bouncy, bumpy ride. Any thoughts? Thanks

Hi there, Sim Update 9 (SU9) has been released. Our Development and Experimental builds are already working perfectly with the new version, so there is no need to update. Stable users may experience some problems, and a v0.7.5 will soon be released. In the meantime, you can switch to Development. Happy flying.

Here is Aspres airport created by Claure Roure. The Aspres-sur-Buëch aerodrome, on the Grenoble-Aix en Provence axis, is isolated on a small plateau at 831 m (2727 ft). Created in the early 1930s, it is known as the Chevalet aerodrome; there is also a holiday village, a bar-restaurant, a swimming pool. Grass runways: 18/36 of 895 m (2936 ft) - 10/28 of 650 m (2133 ft). Restricted use, not open to public air traffic. https://www.simvol.org/en/downloads/airports/aspres

So, what's the consensus? And how about the quality of the planes that come with the Reno Air Expansion?

Imagine this: you board a plane, sit beside the virtual pilot, and watch him fly the plane: cold start, taxiing, take off, climb, traffic pattern, auto pilot, VOR navigation, ILS landing, etc. When doing these things, the virtual pilot can also explains what he is doing, and the instruments can be highlighted accordingly. You can take over if you are confident enough, or just watch the virtual pilot doing these, or just look at the beautiful view out side the window, or walk to the passenger compartment to meet some beautiful air hostesses. The flight plan can be set to some most scenic route of the world, so you can focus on sightseeing, or taking pictures from whatever…

Greetings everyone. Any idea why I've got two Navigraph directories in my Community folder? One is named "navigraph-navdata" and the other "navigraph-navdata-base", or something to that extent. I appreciate any insight in advance.

Coming July 2021! I am really looking forward to these. I hope we will be able to land with helicopters on cargo ships as it is not the case with the current Global AI Ship Traffic. Seafront Simulations is going in the right direction by developping global addons and not just regional ones! https://seafrontsims.com/

Good day all. After a couple hours of installing AIG and downloading a few major liveries I am having Pink Planes show up which I assume is a texture issue. Anyone else run across this? And ideas on how to fix?

I would really like to see added is the ability to ignore the update and just fly. I would like to be able to schedule my time so that the updates could be completed when I want. My guess is that others have requested this, so sorry for the duplication. Thx.

So, I've been looking at MSFS and surprised that local time in Hawaii airports is one hour off. I went over to the msfs forum, and see that it's been this way since release! Back on FSX there was just a simple tz.bgl file and the sdk had tools to add addon time zone files to fix bad data. Any way to do this on MSFS? Hard to believe the devs couldn't fix this in less than an hour. Now granted in FSX you could only set the time zone offset from UTC within a rectangle, so to construct a complex dividing line you had to be creative in designing your rectangles but that was > 10 years ago. scott s. .

Hello, I wonder if someone with experience of this subject can chime in: I just started a Navigraph subscription, but I am unclear whether the standard MSFS world map/flight planner is truly updated with the latest data. Why would I want to still use the standard planner over the simbrief/navigraph planner? Because it is the only way I can find to plan a departure gate to destination flight without simbrief's planner mucking up some waypoints and altitudes. Even more important, when using the latest FBW A320 I have to be at a gate in order to load passengers but a simbrief flight spawns on the runway. If I use the FBW fkyoad to "sync" to MSFS then the VFR map is comp…

While on the ground at any airport I have constant online disconnection issues, as I have been reading around on multiple forums it seems to be a widespread issue - is there anyway to turn off the notification either within the sim settings or through the cfg file? Its so word not allowed annoying when the notification pops up while you're in the middle of setting up a flight!

I am going to buy the Milviz C130 and even though I absolutely LOVE the fact it has an option for an old school radio navigation setup (finally real VOR to VOR, yeah!!!) I am also interested in the available GTN750 options. Now I do use the WT G1000NXi in the Kodiak 100 and know it pretty well by know but I know nothing about the GTN750. My main problem is: there are two options: PMS50 GTN750 GNS530 TDS GTN750XI What exactly are the differences? Not only between the two types (750 vs 750NXi) but also between the software (does it use MSFS navdata or Garmin trainer?). I do know the PMS50 has a free version and I might give that a try but perhaps everyo…

Hi all! My live weather stops around 300 nm after takeoff. Clouds stop being displayed along a straight line and then there are only clear skies and winds at 225/03. Happens on every flight since SU7. Anyone with the same issue? Is there any way to fix that? Thanks for any advice!
