Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

In Dev mode I'm unable to Update the SDK in game via the Updater. Clicking Download does nothing and after pressing Refresh and restarting the game, it still shows 1.18 SDK available and not installed. Never had this issue before with prior Updates. Anyone know how I can update it? Thanks!

Entering Dev mode, anyone else seeing a dialog box stating Asobo is hiring, with a QR scan code in the dialog? It was a little weird, so I exited MSFS using Task Manager. This is right after the sim updated itself.

Within MSFS General Options I have a Monthly Data Consumption Reset day nominated, but it is being ignored & the Current Data Consumption keeps accumulating. Is there any other way to Zero this number? T45

Just a heads up ! After updating tom SU 9 yesterday, I had some CTD's when loading a flight, especially at one particular Airport (EKBI by Simnord). I fixed this by deleting the Rolling Cache. I guess others who experience CTD's - stutters or bad FPS might benefit from doing the same.

Well lads, it's happened! MSFS is now finally a viable airline simulation platform. Sure, it's a small step, but it's in the right direction. I feel like, with the MD80 and 737, the flood gates have been opened. The quality that we have grown to expect can exist in this beautiful next-gen platform. But...where do we go from here? I was a little surprised in my first landing that the push button I use to activate reverse in any other plane doesn't work in the 737. In MSFS, one can click a button (on any hardware) and this activates the reverse axis. You then use your normal throttle axis but it's in the reverse detent now. It's lacking in the pmdg but in other addons without issue. On the PMDG forums, I find out most people have the same issue and I wasn't expected that from PMDG Does anyone have a workaround?

Hi Everyone I just started using this efb. After I plan the flight and click fly-the airport is cover by optional colour lines and area, when I go to the 'flight summery page'. Can somebody please advise how to remove the taxiway, apron and runway colour scheme that covers the take-off airport. The colouring covers the runway marking etc. Many thanks in advance. Qas

The PMDG is stunning. We now have a sim. Its so dang smooth. Lighting is simply ridiculous. No Studders.

Currently Eastbound at 35000 over Northern CONUS in my shiny new PMDG 737-700 Freighter. Sitting in the cockpit I bounced out for a look outside and to my amazement I saw what looked like the T-45. It definitely was a delta wing. The plane was about 3,000 ft below and in my seven o’clock position. After seeing it track roughly parallel for a second or two it made a left turn towards the North and descended out of my sight. Too cool or what! -B

I must be doing something wrong 🤥 Airborne, and so I press G on the keyboard and the gear lever moves to the upper positition. Yet in the outside view, the wheels are still down, even though on the flight deck it shows the gear as UP. ??

Hi Everyone; I am having problems with Payload&Fuel menu for a long time. Not sure about from when. I am not able to adjust the fuel or payload sliders. When I change them , they come to their old positions or to a random value. Therefore, I am not able to manage the weight on any aircraft. I checked the addons and removed all of them that may cause a conflict (except airport sceneries) But , I am not able to find the problem. Am I missing something ? Is this a known issue? I noticed that after updating to MSFS 1.25.9.0 that when loading the PMDG 737 again, it's taking a long time to load up. Is this the case with every SU/WU for MSFS?

Have Steam version since updated to new patch for update 9 1.25.9.0 today have problems downloading flights. Any body else havin problems?

I have the 737, I have the PMDG Operations Centre, and I have a Qantas livery with a ptp extension. How do I install the livery into the 737 ?

Hello, I just finished my first flight with this fantastic plane, everything works fine as expected, but I hate one small thing 🙂 I really dislike, if I change direct view to the left/right or closer to the panel or another else, that in addition to changing the direction of the camera view, the zoom will also change. This is very unreal compare to real head rotating or movement. When I move my own head, only direction of wiev will change, but my not angle of view, because my eyes can't zooming 🙂 So I want remove zooming with view direction change in PMDG cockpit. Figured someone would benefit from this. Since the 73 is out, no doubt folks will be flying Alaska Airlines to Ketchikan. If you're using the NSS scenery and Black Square taxiway signs, there's a conflict that causes the airport to appear sunken under the ground. To fix it, go into your community folder, find the folder "bksq-us-bcde," then Scenery>Global>Scenery>PAKT.bgl. Change that file to PAKT.bgl.off to prevent it from being loaded into the addon scenery. Pro tip: if using Black Square taxiway signs at all, just disable every airport in that folder for the addon airports you're using. Hope this helps someone.

Updates will not overwrite all of your customizations. Believe me every sim or world update will undo your editing (restore the files to original). But if your edited versions are all in Community and you rename community before an update, then all will remain as you created it. For instance changing views, like in the 737.

Folks, short and sweet. This was consistently happening to me. Plane would suddenly lose focus and leave the track of the magenta line. Three times in a row this morning for me. I’ve been flying PMDG Iron for well over ten years and I own all the Boeings so while I thought it could have been user error, I did not see how so I posted on PMDG’s forum and a PMDG representative responded within minutes. He provided the fix action and it was not what I expected and I bet that will be the case for you. Is there a key to push pull the ALT - Hdg - Spd Knob?

GA guy here - what did I do wrong hehe? I started the GPU, APU then engines - the sound was insanely beautiful. Everything looked great until I turned over to the FO side and the displays weren't up. Both IRS are aligned and no lights are on the panel except the RAM DOOR FULL OPEN in blue near the bleed air stuff. What did I miss guys?
