Hi, since we have actual pilots here i would like to know what stock (default) Asobo aircraft (does not matter if standard or delux or premium delux edition) are concidered "OK" or actually good overall. I would consider the use of the Working Title G1000 as given since its a marketplace mod but no other mods. I heard the 172 is quiet good actually and that one of the airliners is "ok" also (at least if you dont need a study level plane). So you go into the menu to select Dev mode, and there's now a cute little pop-up that invites you to apply for a job coding for Asobo. Fantastic, right? Except - the clown who programmed this pop-up is so word not allowed incompetent that it crashes the sim. That's right, every time I go into this screen, the sim now freezes. Before their drunk coder made this feature, dev mode worked fine. Now, all inputs are ineffective, there's no way to leave the page, and you just have to close down the sim and start again. Hi, I have problems with Honeycomb Alpha with PMDG 737-700 for MSFS. Alpha reacts extremely sensitively.. I have the P3D version and it's much better there. But in MSFS version I have my problems with it. is it maybe from Deadzone? to calibrate... 2% is set in MSFS. thought I'd try 20% or more? has anyone discontinued their alpha for 737-700? thx

I was watching Redgamingtech's youtube, and he was talking about leak info on first games supporting fsr, and the second game shown is MSFS. I'm trying to use my android tablet and the FSWidget Gmap app with FS2020, simconnect is a requirement but the connection fails. The tablet is configured to point at the PC, address and port. Anyone here has experience with that one? how to configure etc? Are there different versions of simconnect?

I bought the Ercoupe and love it but if I try to load a second flight the sim locks up during loading the flight. Any ideas? I can load another plane then reload the Ercoupe.

I am considering buying some of these newly released planes 1) Milviz Cessna 310 2) DCS Concorde 3) PMDG 737 4) Justflight 146 When making the decision there is one important thing I must consider. Performance. My system is Haswell 4770K @4.5 GHz RAM 16 Gb 2200 MHz NVIDIA 2070 Super SSD drives Win 10. Also I use VR with a HP Reverb G2 headset. I see that I don't full fill the system requirements for the Cessna 310 in VR and for the PMDG. Do these two planes hit performance harder than others ? Still new to the 737 and learning, ive been on the a32nx and CRJ Every time ive been on an ILS approach with the 737, its approached way too high, than at the end just completely gone above the target altitude, even though the diamond to indicate your approach says its perfect. In another forum they said this was the plane automatically doing a go around at a non-auto land capable airport/minimums. Ive tried auto land capable airports and tried lowering/changing minimums but nothing works, and the plane goes above the approach way before the minimums is even called, any help? Thanks!

Does anyone know the best way to set your quick cam views for interior/exterior? I remember for the FBWA320 there as cameras.cfg file that you can go in to dial in the values to get the exact view that you want. But when trying to use the arrow keys and mouse to pan/zoom, its hard to get the camera directly in the center. I'm still waiting for chaseplane for MSFS. I hope the devs will bring it over. Using devmode in MSFS, is it possible to change the camera values inside the cameras.cfg file and have it automatically update without having to exit and reload the sim to see the changes? That would save me a ton of time and make editing the cameras so much easier. …

The Google Tile Tool allows 5 different tile server choices including the latest Bing tile servers. My favorite source is currently the Arc GIS servers as tile blending seems better. Does anyone have another preference? Cheers

How can we set the "new" SU9 steering tyler axis assignement in MFS to work with the PMDG 737 ? Options in the FMC appear to only allow for rudder-based or a mix using "prop 1" ?

After more than a year, I just had without a doubt my best flight ever in MSFS. Just a short hop from Liverpool to Dublin in the KLM PMDG 737 and now I am starting to worry that all the money spent on P3D is going to become obsolete. Of course I will still use P3D, but I think for the first time MSFS has become real for me. I think we may have turned a corner. Cheers, Pete

I apologize if I'm bringing up something which has previously been tossed around, I don't get to read this forum like I used to. One of the recent updates has reset a bunch of stuff for me, and I'm wondering if it's the same for everyone. My training, landing challenges, etc are all back at zero, although it doesn't seem to have affected my logbook. Is it just me?

For the last two days, when I load the sim, I get a small window with MSFS pic, then a prompt to confirm another window, then the sim starts to load the way it used to. What's wrong with ASOBO? 😀

Does anyone know why the stairs is always showing up when loading up the plane? I use mainly jetways for pax boarding and want to get rid of the stairs permanently.

Edit: After doing some research, some hints from commenters and a significant bit of trial and error I now have. MSFS back running. It seems not to be caused by one error but instead was caused by a series of cascading errors, which began with the HW upgrade. Thanks in advance for any help given or offered. I stayed away from the computer for 5 months now I'm getting back into MSFS. I think I downloaded all of the updates. I flew in an old area that used to be good in New Zealand that Greenstone freeware grass field by Queenstown NZ. It was raised on a plateau hundreds of feet too high. So I flew around and none of the mountains look quite right. I checked Bing and everything's on. But something is odd. I have Orbx NZ mesh.
