Been dealing with annoying panning stutters with a good frame rate for a while and think I solved the issue so I thought I would pass along. if you suffer from panning stutters with otherwise good FPS, take a look at your “free look momentum” setting in the camera settings. Mine was at 50 and after brining it to zero the annoying stutter is gone.

Remember FSNavigator from FS 2002 and FS9? I can't forget it! Every time I use Littlenavmap I feel clumsy cause it doesn't behave like FSNavigator! (Nor did FSTramp even though the author was the same!) Has any one of you adjusted the LNM settings so it resembles FSN more? Like simplistic map that shows the navaids with clearly visible frequencies, distances and directions? ...possibility to use the mouse to draw the line between the two spots that will show distance and direction? ...drag and drop the navaid to a side column in order to make a flightplan? I know LNM has it (almost) all, but does anybody have some settings he'd wish to share in orde…

Is anyone else seeing this? I've crashed to desktop 3 times out of the last 5 flights. I've not had this problem until recently. Doesn't seem to matter what aircraft, it's happened with both the DA62 and the PMDG 737. It always happens at about half way through the flight. It kind of makes me not want to bother with MSFS. Too much trouble and disappointment. If it crashed this often IRL, I would never go anywhere. I'm starting to forget what it's like to land.

Hello, I am fiddling around with autopilot settings and came across these two: max_bank_acceleration max_bank_velocity Can someone please explain the difference between those? Actually i am trying to reduce the way the TBM's AP banks. I have a feeling it is too violent so i'd like to reduce the rollrate and the reaction time the AP needs after a new HDG is dialed in. Right now the AP immediately starts to roll the plane when the HDG knob is manipulated and it feels a bit too fast. Is there a way to set it to a little softer motion? Best regards, Tom

I would so love to use my GTN 750 on an external touch screen or have the G3X Controls docked out and touch those or whatever touch sensitive interface that is in the game. However while air manager works flawlessly and touch works on docked out windows in FSX, P3D and Plane it does not in MSFS. Controls lock up and joystick inputs are not recognised anymore, when MSFS loses focus to its own windows (not other ones like a browser on a different screen mind you) and the touch input is not recognised. I made a bug report on zen desk but never heard of it again, I made a bug post but that garnered like 10 votes. Is no-one suing touch screens or am I just doing something…

Not sure if it's since SU9, but the Weather Icon in the Toolbar at the top of the flight screen, has disappeared. It allowed me to change the Weather mid flight. In the Toolbar Settings Icon drop down listing the Weather Slider is greyed out. Anyone know how to fix this situation, restore the Weather Icon? Thank you. T45

I don't know why, but popping-out windows is a no-go for my setup. I have tried holding down ALT-R but just don't get the magnifier glass when moving the cursor over the glass displays in the CRJ or the A321Neo as many have said they can. I know I cleared the default keyboard mapping long ago, perhaps something needs to be in there but don't see any entries to assign for pop-out windows etc. I am using a three monitor Nvidia surround window arrangement in full screen if that makes a difference, although I switched to windowed mode with no change. I've not been able to generate Live Weather for a few days. I've been trying to sort it out and tried most remedies found across the internet to no avail. Has anybody got any ideas on how to get my Live Weather to function again ?

Title. Since the sim launched i've had the game turn into a slideshow whenever i get within 100ft of the runway on airliners. However, it only happens if im doing a full flight. What i mean is, for example, if i enter the world map, select a random airport with say the new pmdg 737 and select it only as arrival so that i spawn in short final to land the plane, the sim runs perfectly. But if i come in to land from a full flight, the mentioned issue happens. No matter how low i set the graphics and how many performance tweaks i try, since it runs perfectly in any other situation. I think this is probably sufficiently different to merit its own post. I've been simming for many years, and have taken the big plunge with controllers, etc. I'm currently using the Alpha and Bravo yoke and throttle quadrants, and have struck a problem that I can't resolve, and am hoping that someone else has seen this and knows the solution. I am having ussues with my Thrustermaster Yoke Boeing Eddition, which consists of the Boeing Yoke and the TM Throttle unit. I am really keen to start learning the PMDG B737 but I am held back with my hardware problems. B737 Gear isssues: On departure, the gear is raised, as indicated by the gear lever moving to the UP position. Yet with the external view, the gear it still down. Even pressing G will not raise the walls externally. Is this a fault with the PMDG B737 as a few people have experienced it. Same with the reverse thrust which cannot be seen externally. Using Hendrik's latest Beta...all the wake trails are 1,000 feet to either side of the ship...and 500 feet behind the stern...they do not line up right behind the stern. Anybody else seeing this?

Hey all, I've got a 27" monitor which I use for MSFS and I'm considering upgrading to a 32" (I don't want to go bigger due to desk space!). I also don't want to go to 4k for performance reasons. I'm considering going from my 27" 1440p monitor to a 32" 1440p monitor. I think that'll be a good deal larger for simming (given how blown away I was on on me 24" to 27" upgrade a few years ago!) but my concern is that I've read a bit about pixel density. Some have said its barely noticable, but I'd like to confirm - does anyone here have a 32" monitor at 1440p, and if so, does it look good for MSFS? Thanks :)

Hi chaps, TDS GTN750 is pretty cool. However, I wonder if there's a way to stop it booting with the sim, for times when you're not flying a GTN-equipped aircraft. Every time you boot MSFS, a TDS popup appears and it starts running two instances of the Garmin GTN trainer, which i figure can't be helpful for frame rates. Now, I dosable things all the time by removing them from the community folder. In this case, the tds-gtnxi-gauge folder. Doesn't work, the popup still appears on sim boot and the 2x GTN trainers still run. There is a TDS folder in \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages, but it seems to be empty. Searched the forums but found nothing helpful. My Longitude on External Camera just shows dull, black windows. Above all the cockpit windows are not transparent. Is there any fix existing to improve this? Thanks for any help! Ernst

My throttle jumps to max every time I either move my Saitek yoke right or left or when I move my CH products pedals right or left. I am using the new PMDG 737 but it does it with the FBW as well. The throttle seems to function fine. For example starting on the runway i can increase the throttle and it moves like it should then if I move my rudder pedals or the yoke all of a sudden throttles go to max. I'm at a loss.

Hello everyone, I recently purchased the PMDG 737 and the Maddog. Performance is fine in most situations but im curious if any of you can share what performance you are getting with either or both aircraft. When im at FSDT KORD and Flytampa KLAS and asobo’s handmade KJFK, in both airplanes, im getting around low 20s fps and at times dips into the high teens. Stuttering at times too. At Flightbeams KDEN. I have no performance issues. During these slow downs, my GPU is getting worked but usually in the green but my main thread in DX11 is getting SLAMMED….mid high 40ms range. There's an option for "wear and tear" in the customization section, does this affect the aircraft? Payware ones included like the BAE and 737? Or are these hard coded in planes by their respective devs?
