Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

HI all. Don't know if I'm just unlucky but I've had quite a few problems with msfs 2020. My present problem, which I am sure one of you knowledgeable guys might be familiar with is that since I did the recent upgrade for msfs every time I fire up the computer I get error messages. Two are the same and they say "OmenCommandCenterBackground.exe - Application Error. Application Started Incorrectly (0xc0000135)". The third one says "Yolk_Profiler.exe - Application Error. The Application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000135) I'm running an Omen computer BTW . If you can help me with this one I'll tell you why I spent 6 hours on the telephone talking to Cairo and Nigeria …

I see on flightsim.to that there are already hundreds of liveries for the fantastic new 737. However I haven't been able to find any matching skins for the numerous ground service vehicles. Is there a way to change the headphone simulation without pausing the game via the "esc" button?

The last 2 times i've fired up Track IR, I only get one of the 2 green lights on (left side only) and it doesn't pick up the simulator. Does anyone know what the issue could be and how to fix it? I use the clip that goes onto your headset if that makes a difference.

Hello, I have seeing many post and videos, I have tried some of the suggestion available but still haven't been able to solve the lag/stutter in my sim. I have tweak and change many of the options available and have yet to find or get a smooth sim. I do have a good internet and also have a high end computer. Im my missing something or doing something wrong, because I have seen videos and seen them smooth with no lag or stutter. I know not everyones specs is the same.......Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

Apologies for yet another 737 thread. I'm struggling with importing the load data from Simbrief for pretty much every flight. As an example, Simbrief calculates 13,000lbs of fuel, but every time I import it 737 keeps it at around 25,100. Anyone else?

Hi, i have a strange problem with an VOR near Stuttgart Airport (EDDS). The VOR is STG on 116.85. The strange thing is, i fly with the standard Cessna Caravane with Working Title G1000. I tune in 116.85 on NAV1 and it gets identified as STG. Now im really close to the airport already, shortly before touchdown on runway 07 and now when i activate NAV mode for the AP and switch the CDI to NAV1 the green arrow shows a completely wrong direction (showing 0° or 360°). Strange thing is, if i go to PDF Options and Bearing 1 and set it to NAV1 this shows the actual correct direction of the VOR and once i overfly it the needle changes to show im now flyi…

I note that with live weather there is still permanent snow at NZMF (Milford Sound New Zealand) unchanged for the past 6 months at least. Is this such a hard thing to fix? I have been out of MSFS for 6-7 months, mostly because I was spending way too much time tweaking and far less time flying. Instead of getting frustrated I just went and did other things. Today I installed the latest patch from steam and noticed the performance of the UI was considerably better than I had remembered. So my question is, is this sim sorted out right now? If not, what major areas still need work? I had started to mess with AI traffic, but that still had issues. Weather was still sporadic. I've filed a support ticket with FlyingIron but haven't had any response, so hoping somebody here may be able to help: From loading a flight cold and dark, I'm using the engine start checklist on the tablet and starting from cold and dark works fine with v1.1.0. But using the same checklist with v1.2.0 (and not doing anything different from v1.1.0) the engine does not start. I have tried numerous times and I am absolutely sure I am following the checklist correctly. The low fuel pressure light comes on when I switch the battery on but it goes off as soon as I turn the fuel on, without using the wobble pump (so something seems to be wrong there). As I under…

Hi all Did an upgrade recently to 12700k and 3080 TI and what a difference this made to VR,I can virtually crank everything on max in 4k with exception of render scale and LOD slider and I'm around 30-50 fps in the PMDG 737 It smooth and stable and looks so much better than my old system, considering I'm using the original quest it's pretty dam good, sitting in virtual cockpit looking out the wing view is amazing and at night getting up and moving around the cabin is fantastic, and the cockpit just wow, VR is really getting there

Hi fellow sim pilots ... I am loving the new PMDG B737, and take my hat off to the developers for the fabulous product they have given us. However, I am not getting much joy in the PMDG forum over some issues I have seen when my completed repaints are applied to the aircraft, and which I later discovered are also present in the default liveries and every other add-on I have tried. The screen shots below highlight some of those issues. The PMDG response from their paint department was that no such issues occur with the PMDG default liveries. Found this really handy takeoff and landing calculator through a reddit post. It's from Captain Tux on the X Plane website. It's a bit weird to get up and running, but it is very handy, and there are a ton of planes you can use it with as well as create your own profile for different planes. Once of a sudden, starting just an hour ago, I am being presented with a startup splash screen for FS2020 again. I am running on the latest patch, 1.25.9, and after installing this patch a few days ago all was "normal". Till a little earlier today when this splash screen showed up, telling me that I am signing in and that FS2020 is launching. Am I the only one running into this undocumented feature I wonder?

I have a somewhat ridiculous or silly question but it has been eating away at my head for a few days (when the PMDG 737 videos came out) I have seen that some stremers have something very particular about airplanes.
