A couple of issues on a short test flight with this new PMDG 737. Issues inherited from the P3D and never fixed carried over to the MSFS. A/P still shows intermittent jerkiness during operations, especially on intercepts (LNAV, IAN or LOC). There are instances where the airplane will bank only 15 degrees and overshoot the intercepts in LNAV or LOC as much as 1 NM L/R of course. Intermittent altitude busts are still present in excess of 200FT. On 4 occasions after exiting PAUSE, the airplane will lose control with a nose-dive and uncommanded trim down situation. It's an oversimplified poll but just curious about how many are having 'significant' problems such as unequivocal degradation in performance, CTDs and other issues tied to the basic sim--please EXCLUDE loss of Azure speech or loss of connectivity as was happening on occasion pre-SU9 and very likely have more to do w/ server side versus basic installation and running of the sim.

Yesterday I loaded up a base 737-700 with United livery and began flying the tutorial flight from KPDX to KSFO. As I approached Top of Climb or whatever it's called, the instruction said to setup the Head Up Guidance System. I looked everywhere and couldn't find the Collins device anywhere. Long story short my plane flew past SFO and crashed...blah blah blah while I was searching the internet for where that device might be in the cockpit. Then last night I tried a Southwest Airlines variant, and right away I noticed there was a HUD above the visor that could be pulled down. There seems to be some confusion about how to get Simbrief to create an OFP in which the computed weights agree with those displayed by the PMDG B737. The required numbers appear to be buried somewhere in various config files and for all I know they vary depending on seating configuration, etc. As it turns out, there's no need to go on an expedition through those files. So I've got used to the lazy Airbus way of not having worry about the throttle on landing. My understanding in 737 is auto throttle off when landing, AP off and then land. My question is in P3D I'm sure there was an overlay on screen to match my hardware throttle position with the sim throttle position so when I disarm the AT everything is in sync? Hopefully I explained that ok!

So the technicality is pretty straight forward and understood. I wanted to know in which conditions does IRL pilots using it and if its common to use it.

and pause on TOD? These were settings in the FMC for the P3D version and was wondering if it's also in the MSFS version as well.

Anyone else experiencing very loud ELEC pumps in the cockpit and outside (louder than the engines) in the PMDG 737-700?

Hello, never had this issue with any other airliner before. I use the Pro Flight Saitek Rudder Pedals and even i tried every possible solution, the nose wheel during taxi, turns to the left direction and needs constant right rudder to keep straight. Any Advise please should be high appreciated Thank you

My lovely spouse is fully supportive of me buying this $69 wonder, but is NOT liking the intermittent klaxon horn warning I'm getting on approach and even after landing. Whaa Whaa Whaa Whaa Whaa goes the alarm - even at 7,000 (not pressurization?) with gear down and flaps configured and a smooth landing at 140 knots. What triggers this, and how do I shut it off? I see no annunciator lights flashing to acknowledge and press? I was on autopilot for part of the short journey, perhaps a warning that I disconnected the AP that I need to acknowledge? Or did I put my flaps down too much before lowering my gear (again, how do I shut it off)? Curren…

It's probably me - but is anyone else having problems binding any of the Honeycomb yoke and quadrant switches to any of the 737's switches and systems? The only ones I've managed so far are the flight controls (primary and secondary), thrust levers (minus reverse thrust) and some views. Autopilot functions appear to be OK but lights, battery, APU start/stop, Eng Anti Ice etc don't seem to be able to be bound. As an aside, the MSFS systems options appear to be sadly lacking compared to the myriad of those found in X-Plane.

I'm seeing ice sheets all through potions of Alaska's Inside passage when using Live Weather. The only way I know to eliminate it, is to switch to static weather. Does anyone know of a way to retain Live Weather and eliminate them during the warmer months?

An excellent release out the box, however I was surprised to see that there's no AA livery available on release. My nephew flies a 737 for AA and I'm going need one ASAP. I want to impress him when he comes to visit me. 😀

Hey I've had a problem lately that I can't fix. After some time in flight, no matter what plane I'm flying in, the simulator suddenly crashes. Without error message. But I noticed one thing. The Volanta screen is completely gray, but I didn't notice anything else. I've tried everything. -Reinstalled the Pc and the Sim, updated drivers and so on... But I keep having the same problem... I am grateful for every answer and I hope someone of you can help me! :) Thanks

I forget! I have done this before? What do I do to import liveries form TO to PMDG 737 Where do I need to have the Zip files?

Is it me or the 737 can't use flights created in the default flight planner?

The 737 will very rarely be found from the Captain's POV in Cold & Dark state. In the FMC you can load States and set the one you like to the default state that the aircraft will load to on every start. The ones in normal text are MSFS/Asobo states, the ones in CAPLOCK are PMDG's. The best state to start with seems to be APPRONLONG, once you load this state, your now a lot closer to how it should be. But... You will have a lot of Fuel/PAX and cargo onboard/loaded, wrong. Go into the FMC set PAX and Cargo to Zero and set fuel for amount the aircraft would normaly have left after a flight, I set it to 2136 KG. Now save that state, you wil…

One of the few reasons I was looking forward to the 700 and the forthcoming 600 was as a true long range (7000NM plus) aircraft to enable global operations. As far as I can see this does not appear the case. We are left with a standard range aircraft which would have difficulty flying extended ops in Australia or even Trans Tasman. Hi all, I haven't touched MSFS since release really as I was waiting on a realistic airliner. It's here now and I'm really enjoying it, but I have a strange issue. When I touch the edge of my screen, it 'jumps' to another area. For example if I press ctrl+2 to look at the FMS, if I touch the top of the screen it'll jump up to the MCP, if I touch the bottom, the pedestal. It's annoying for me as I prefer to use hotkeys and it ends up with my awkwardly jumping around the cockpit. I've looked through the options but not found a solution. Is there a way to turn this off? Just wondering are Limo trucks an option for the BBJ like what's pictured on PMDG"s website or just eye candy that has nothing to do with the actual options for the aircraft.

Has anyone had any success with Seb's new photosceneries over at flightsim.to or is it just me? With an RTX3070, 5600X and 32 GB RAM at 1440 rez they seem to bring my system to it's knees and contain purple areas where textures do not seem to be loading even at considerably reduced settings. A shame for me as from what I have seen of them, they are visually excellent and I would love to be able to run them.

I just restarted MSFS and it loaded the first-launch screens, addons are still there but all settings are lost, including controls. Are they stored somewhere else? MS Store version.... Why is something like that even happening?
