I´m curious if someone have experience of Virtual FIP with spad.next on Ipad? The only information I can find at Spad.next homepage is that "Apps for iOS (iPhone/iPad) , Android and Windows Phone are currently developed.¨ I´m looking for an application that allows me to have virtual steam gauges om my Ipad and I read that Spad.next apperently had that function on their "complete edion" of Spad.next.

The subject line says it all. I'm running the Xbox Game Pass version on my PC, and it runs better than P3dV4 for me; that's a total shock to me and allowed me to buy the 414A from my favorite dev years before I thought it possible. I'm sure there's some tradeoffs going on, but I'm pleased as punch. I hope everyone has the same experience. If you're an Xbox game pass member, you might want to try running MSFS on your pc using the Xbox app, you might get much better results than you hoped. Happy Christmas, everyone! 🙂

I just built a new pc (specs below), after installing and optimizing Windows 11 I imaged the drive then gathered the main tweaks out there and applied them one by one testing them each time in the PMDG 737 at the same airport with clear skies and no traffic.. I did them in the following order and I’m finding the sim is performing the best I’ve seen in quite a while. Before applying the tweaks below the sim was definitely not as smooth. Hello, I have bought this little keyboard from Ali… (Minikeyboard CH57X) It has several buttons and two rotary knobs. Knobs are not axis, but “buttons” - one is triggered when turning knob to right, second is triggered when turning knob to left. So ideal for autopilot. My issue is, MSFS is not registering this knob ideally - see this video: I have set it to control heading, but heading change is registered only with 30% change. It does not change heading every time I rotate with knob. Small adjustment by one position is hardly registered at all. Device is set to write “+” when turned to one side, “ě” when turned to se…

Amazing as it has only just been released. I am picking it up at that price, as it has good reviews. https://store.inibuilds.com/products/inibuilds-p-40f-warhawk-msfs EDIT: Was £9.59 with tax (VAT) - a bargain! They are doing a new offer every day up to Christmas Eve, but most won't be MSFS of course. Yesterday was Airbuses for the other sims.

Just a note of interest about controlling the Cowl Flaps on the MSFS DC-3. in the Controls section of the setup for MSFS, I have dedicated one of the double action toggle switches on my CH Products Throttle Quadrant to the Cowl Flaps. It works for all aircraft. Up for open incrementally, down for close incrementally. However, flying in the DC-3, I noticed when in outside view that the cowl flaps seemed to be in the trail position even though I had toggled them to be in the closed position. I hit the switch again and they moved to the closed position, but when I took my finger off the switch and it returned to its spring-loaded center position, the cowl flaps returned to…

Recently, I started getting a pop up from the XBox Game Bar (even though it’s not showing/active) asking me to check out the “points” I have been awarded… silly. Can I disable this permanently? Ta- C

Since its apparently working well for MSFS on Xbox, one wonders when and what we will see if or when the tech is activated on PC https://www.techspot.com/news/93963-microsoft-directstorage-can-reduce-cpu-usage-40.html?fbclid=IwAR0dyZgGIYteawDdnh6Ba3fd_C6pe7oRBy7KLsKshTDSAFi_PBqZr71yV7s

Currently with a 12900K/Z690 setup (see signature) I'm thinking about to upgrade to a 13900 CPU. The Z690 chipset would allow this after a BIOS update. So no motherboard change necessary and of course I'll keep my 3090 video card. So my question is, would MSFS benefit from only upgrading the CPU? I can afford it, but I also don't want to throw my money out of the window.

What is the avionics package in the MSFS default King 350i -- Proline21 perhaps? And how do you enter a flight plan directly into this avionics package once you are in the VC? Thanks, Al

So I bought an Nvidia RTX 4080. Because of the Frame Generation technology. And like you do when you buy a new GPU, you sit around and tinker with settings until the early morning. Here's my experience: I downloaded the latest drivers with a clean install. I loaded up the Twin Otter at Tulsa by the aircraft graveyard. I had only the Dev Mode FPS counter on the right corner to go by. Performance was pretty good with my usual settings. Everything Ultra, TAA, V-Sync (And G-Sync) on, Screen scaling at 125%. Butter smooth. 55 FPS. My new GPU is barely breaking a sweat. It's just sitting there with it's shades on, looking cool. Then I turn on Frame Gen…

I deleted my Rolling Cache, and would like set a new value for the new one... but cannot figure it out. When I enable the cache, it asks for a value which is set at 0 to start. If I key in 8, I get 80, but when deleting the trailing zero get an error. If I enter 8. I also get an error. If I move to the right and attempt a backspace, I also get an error.. Does anyone have a keystroke by keystroke sequence to get past this?

The MSFS Mandatory Update 1.29.30.0 which was distributed yesterday has deleted all my aircraft joystick profiles which I set up in the Options/Controls Options and has also altered many of the settings. Fortunately I regularly back up MSFS which is installed on a separate drive, and I thought that it would be a simple matter to locate and re-install the profiles. I have searched the backup drive but cannot find them, does anyone know where MSFS stores profiles?

Hi all, I'm currently running p3d v5 and looking to move to MSFS2020. I have a few questions before I move. The idea is to keep both sims. 1-is it better to purchase from steam or the Microsoft store? Is there any difference? 2-i run an i7-8700k with rtx2080 super 32gb ram. Will this be able to handle it well? I know it depends on alot f variables however generally speaking will it run? 3-what real world weather programs do you recommend? I currently use active sky. 4-are there any other must have addons I should purchase? I intend on GSX, Fenix a20. any help would be much loppreciated. Sorry about the formatting of the post. It's not my faul…

So I'm loving the DHC2 Beaver since the latest update. I'm not sure how well known this scenery set is but I've just stumbled across it Return to Misty Moorings - FS2020 Scenery I've downloaded everything just booting up the sim now to test it out. Its basically a load of seaplane bases and little airfields dotted around the Alaska region, looks really good. It comes with very good documentation and looks like a labour of love for the author. I'm going to fire up the beaver and report back. There are more areas covered but this is what the coverage looks like in Little NavMap.
