With the modelling of geopotential height variation I believe I read somewhere in the forums that users of the VATSIM and IVAO networks were facing some problems with discrepancies of aircraft position injected on those networks, but after an initial rumour I never saw this mentioned again? Have the MFS VATSIM/IVAO clients suffered some adaptation for the new, more complexand complete, weather model being used in MFS 2020?

Personally, I adjust the scroll wheel in the wrong direction about 80 percent of the time.

I started the flight from KMCO (Orlando Intl Airport) to KMIA (Miami Intl Airport).... and I requested the ATIS information so I can load the correct takeoff information into the PMDGs FMC. Once completed, I call up the tower and requested takeoff for south departure. The ATIS and the tower runway for take off was correct, however every multiplayer in the session was taking off from the opposite end of the runway! So my question is MSFS weather information is correct? I am more inclined to say yes because I use Navigraph Charts and it pulls the METAR information from a real world source. The heading from Navigraph METAR and MSFS 2020 ATIS is off by about 2 degrees, so…

Hi In comparison with other addon aircraft, I find the A310 rudder action a bit too sensitive on ground. Trying to keep centreline on take-off or landing is difficult, as the action seems too sensitive and twitchy for precise control. The Fenix and the PMDG, with the same exact default sensitivity settings, are way easier and more precise to control, even in stronger crosswinds. I have been doing some testing with different sensitivity and reactivity settings, but without great success so far. Is anyone else facing the same issue? If so, can you share any sensitivity / reactivity settings for rudder pedals that you feel have helped? Cheers

I installed it yesterday (so last version), I see wake effect files in a sub-sub-sub-directory but no wake in the game even for fast moving ships. Do I miss something in the install setup ?

I decided to buy the Honda Jet through the Marketplace. Because I have the Steam version, it redirected me to steam for the add-on purchase. I added funds to my wallet first, then applied them to buy the add-on. I got an error when it redirected me back to the sim to do the download. I went back to Steam to try again. It had no funds in my wallet, so I did it again. The second time it worked. It turns out something went wrong with MSFS Marketplace, and I got charged twice for the purchase. So I contact Steam. Hi everyone, Firstly apologies if this has been covered before, My search on google has come up nil. Can you please suggest how to reload a saved flight in Fenix a320. People have suggested saving in the Fenix iPad-but i cannot see any option there. Every reloaded flight crashes, it starts in cold and dark...how can that be at 30000ft.. looking forward to any help. qas

Hello PMDG 737-700 in MSFS2022 W10 I fly with a rate of 6 failures every 10 hours (with no limit for the number of failure), for along time now bit I have never had any failure on flight. I flown more than 10 hours (maybe 30 hours). I have some doubt with the failure function working properly. So my question is : Anyone have already encounter a random failure in flight? Thanks

Gday everyone…I am a newbie to flight sims and the simionc Apps for Apple.Ipad… I have recently purchased rhe PFD and the MFD. I seem to be getting an error on both ipads every couple of seconds, stating Lost MFD on the PFD and lost PFD on the MFD. . I have read that it’s a wifi issue however I don’t seem to have any problems with anything else… has anyone had this error and can advise of a fix? also, does the MFD connect to the PFD via Bluetooth or WIFI ? thanks in advance. and I apologise if this had been covered before. Trying to land at GJA (Guanaja) in the DHC-2 but somehow the aircraft gets stuck at 274ft. First I thought I was too fast so I did a go-around but then I couldn't climb higher too! Autopilot is off, tried to climb with autopilot but that didn't work either. I even cut the engine but the aircraft didn't move an inch below or above 274ft. It did stall however and started a spin, while being stuck at the same altitude. Finally I got the "overstressed" warning which ended the flight. Has anyone experienced something similar? (using the AAU beta)

I have lost the function of the Esc key due to my own stupidity in saving a new Keyboard profile without the Esc assigned, Can someone tell me how to get to "Controls" without the Esc key so I can reset the keyboard profile to default. F12 does not do it. Thanks for any suggestions. Martin

I've recently started to get into the helicopter side of MSFS. Until now, I've been happy with Honeycomb Alpha, Bravo, and Thrustmaster TPR pedals for GA & commercial flying. What would the forum suggest as controller(s) to buy for helicopters - if looking for a similar quality/price point to what I already have? Grateful for any thoughts!

I´ve tried the Sky4sim NG but I didn´t like it so I uninstalled it. The problem is that I still have the Sky4sim in my custom toolbar in the sim. Any suggestion how to remove it from the toolbar? I´ve unistalled the Sky4sim with Windows own "uninstall program" and I have the store version of MSFS 2020.

While in Florida I did two sailplane lessons in a Grob G103. The instructor was extremely impressed at my flying as much so that on the second flight I did the complete flight including the takeoff and landing. That is with one exception. In the tow I kept getting inside on the turns behind the tow plane and needed his help in correcting. I'm a just over 100 hour PPL but 25+ year simmer and have used the gliders in FSX/P3D and Aerofly FS where I got proficient with sailplanes but none of those platforms offer a towplane that turns. This sim continues to amaze me. The fog depiction is absolutely perfect. Ridiculously accurate RVR depictions, volumetric lighting effects, flawless autolanding from the FENIX and PMDG. I'm just blown away, since it has been a struggle to get this sim in a state where this was possible. In comparison, X-Plane 11 used to have great low weather, HOWEVER at night you could see the lights through the fog (bug) like 20 miles out, and they refused to do anything about it. Not so in MSFS. NO weird light glitches, just pure IMC to minimums. I'm so pleased!
