Because the developers said they look into the cumunity i just want to pin it here. There is so much beauty and eye candy in the visuals already. The athmospheric appearance, in conjunction with the the new, satelite-based terrain looks in fact "As real as it gets". And of course the weather systems we have seen already are so breathtaking. Accept for the nearby clouds. The clouds i have seen in the newest videos are looking more like smoke rather than clouds. The clouds shown more far away look real so far, but if you look at the clouds right around you they look like cigare smoke. Please this realy needs to be fixed or will you rest this on people like HIFI a…

THIS IS NOT A RANT! I was watching this video by Chewwy94 showing LFPG - Paris Charles de Gaulle. He's flying low around this handcrafted airport to show its level of details. I noticed a few "strangeness" about traffic depiction: 6:06 - 6:17: on curved/sloped bridge the cars do not "sit" on the road, they somehow "shift" both horizontally and vertically; 6:39 - 6:44: on a straight highway they "collide" head on; 6:52 - 6:57: cars going "under" a tunnel seems to "levitate" and then "pop off" with "a delay" to then pop back "at the exit" Once again I do not think these are "flaws" or "bugs" of any weight in a flight sim. Looks lik…

The official multiplayer video shows this for the Multiplayer mode descriptions: Live Players "Other players will be visible if they have also set their Multiplayer settings to Live Players and they share the same Air Traffic settings" There are three Air Traffic settings (non-player air traffic): 1. Live (assume this is based on FlightAware data) 2. AI (assume this is based on some generic flight plan data ie. an “offline mode”) 3. Off Hence the Live Players mode description implies three “shared worlds” for Live Players: 1. Live Players with Air Traffic setting: Live …

Title pretty much says it all. What do you plan on using with MSFS2020? I have a CH Eclipse yoke but I'm not really a fan, its finicky and tends to stick a bit when I try to level out from climbs or decent. I saw Thrustmaster has a new joystick coming out and was thinking about getting it. I know a joystick isn't realistic with GA aircraft like the Cessna but I'm curious about it. So, how about it. What will you use or get for your flights?

There is a quite prominent popping texture morphing in this video while he is cruising over Seattle, in particular when approaching Boeing Field (starting around 8:00). Since I haven't noticed this issue so prominently in other videos I wonder where this comes from. - Is this issue bounded to photogrammetry areas or does it happen outside these areas as well? - Is there a graphic setting to avoid this issue (LOD-distance or similar)? - Is it an issue with a slow bandwidth? - Can it be avoided by caching the area? Actually to me this popping morphing is very annoying. One of the pet peeves of P3D for me and I'm quite co…

After watching many recent beta videos, it appears the volume of vehicle traffic in large cities is EXTREMELY light, which of course has an effect on realism. Any ideas as to how a user will be able to adjust this or not ? Apologize if this has been previously addressed. Thanks.

Suggestion to have dedicated MSFS2020 forum, unless I missed it. I'm going nuts waiting for the FS2020 release.

We have all seen videos where there's a solid "wall" under bridges. Yes it's still beta, BUT how good is Azure ai? Will it be possible for it to learn that it's a bridge and it's not supposed to be solid, or does Asobo/MS have to correct it manually? It will be nearly impossible to check all bridges in the world, so can it eventually be fixed by azure? And the same goes with ie. container cranes, they also seems pretty solid, so it may take some time before it's fixed, just wondered if it's even possible for a computer programme to figure out what's what. BTW. I haven't yet seen any videos with wind turbines (windmills), if you have, can you please post a link to a v…

IGN Somewhat related, but for those of us (including myself) that like their games/software on Steam :https://store.steampowered.com/app/1250410/Microsoft_Flight_Simulator/ Also, moment of silence for Pre-orders, that's why I don't.

Bonjour part'naires 🙂 I'm a fan of steam because the option to save games or install to your hard drive of choice works without ever a problem for me. Except that concerning MFS2020 I do not have an answer to the following question: if we buy the game on Steam, will we also have to go through Microsoft's xbox site to install other files? which in this case does not please me, I do not want to have files installed in several different places Thank you in advance for your reply. Regards,

Interesting is: Aerosoft Germany is selling DVD Boxes with MSFS right uppon August the 18.th. This means, that they must have the final versioon already because they need time to let the Tons of DVD produce! This also confirms my thoughts that ASOBO is far ahead related to the "Beta" some are testing! What do you think about this? Marcus

Many posts explain artifacts or stuttering in the FS20 video previews by the recording, often referring to the OBS software. I've never noticed this kind of problem in my Nvidia ShadowPlay recorded videos. OBS is more demanding on the hardware ?
