I think these 2 categories will be the most popular in MFS2020. I can't wait and hope more 3rd party devs and hopefully brand new 3rd party devs will join in to make awesome City and Landmarks add-ons. I think these will be extremely popular and sell very well, since the foundation or base sim has a solid framework to build upon. Would love to see downtown Hong Kong with all the modern buildings, and other cities from around the world as well.

I suspect the MSFS Airport Designer is going to be easier to use to build out airports quicker. If so, I hope Scenery Developers would start producing airport packs for certain regions with multiple airports. I don't want to buy individually I want packs. Greazer.

I am currently planning several long distance flights (multi-legs) around the globe to enjoy the world in all its splendor in MSFS. I'm not quite sure which GA plane to pick from to do that, though, and I would very much appreciate your suggestions. Here are some things I value with the plane I'm gonna pick: Must be a good view in the cockpit with the instrumentation and dashboard not being obtrusive Must have a somewhat decent range, though I am not neccessairly going to fly over large bodies of water (I'm here to see the world, not the water) Not be an absolute snail And hopefully be interesting to fly 🙂 Any suggestions?

Hi all, just tried out my new honeycomb yoke with saitek throttle and saitek pedal setup getting ready for the 18th :p Messing around in X-Plane, I have realised how crucial the input response curve option they give you is. It has helped me get a realistic feel for the toe brakes. is it confirmed yet or not if mfs2020 will allow us to edit a response curve like xplane does? many thanks all, super excited

I have seen several videos where the external cam moved nosetip-close to the windshield or door window shows nice two pilots. Why does the copilot disappear after coming back inside? The difference of distance from the external cam and the pilot seat is mnimal, so why can't we see other people inside in the cockpit? It makes no sense to me...

I've had a good old search but not come up with an answer (Cue someone with a link) I like to fly with, as near as possible, the same controller set up as the plane I'm flying. i.e. Stick and left hand throttle for such as warbirds, yoke and TPM for Cessnas etc. yoke and quadrant for twins. You get the idea. Can MSF(2020) handle that requirement? My finger is on the trigger for a pre-purchase.

Hi all, Can not wait for FS to be released, the videos I have seen are amazing... But... I live in Washington DC, and finally someone posted some video of DC, and I must say it is a bit disappointing. For such and iconic city I hope that some very obvious things can get updated by launch, or soon after. Not complaining as there is so much to do, but I really hope DC does get a little attention soon! Not sure what the heck this is! - Obviously supposed to be the Washington Monument, but looks nothing like it, wrong color and is missing the pointed top! This is supposed to be the Capital. The domes just got unceremoniously lopped off! And lastly below, there …

Hey guys, have you seen any footage from those two planes? Have not even found a screenshot so we can tell if they have glass cockpit or not?

Didn't see anyone linking this one, and I found it pretty kewl: Love the sound effects of all the trollies flying around in the cabin on touch down. Also noticed how the houses look pretty similar to the type of style they have in Bhutan (as far as I can remember). Absolutely amazing, I felt like it was real at times. I don't, unfortunately ,expect much from the tubeliners on release, but it doesn't bother me. I trust Asobo will work hard and we will get awesome default planes in msfs eventually.

Has anyone seen contrails in FS2020 yet? None of the airliner videos I've seen have them.

A great example of the real in-game perf you can get when recording/capturing doesn't get in the way 🙂 He actually talks about it in details in the video:

Good morning, Again, this isn't meant to be a trollpost or something. But seeing so many features, functions, things and so on not completely implemented, not working correctly, in need of tweaking and finetuning and whatnot wouldn't it be more appropriate to consider MSFS as an early acces game? I mean come on...buying a product at full price i'd expect at least the implemented features to work at least 99,5% correct. Yes, the Devs have announced MSFS to be a longterm project which is actually good but why not be honest and say it's EA, there's so much work to do...i'd still be happy to pay for MSFS as an EA title. Even more happy than paying full price for a…

We are 20 days from release and I think I (and many others) have dropped enough hints by now to illustrate the sim is not going to be perfect. With the release of the media from the NDA, you are probably now seeing some of the flaws we haven't been able to talk about as testers. Yes, there are issues with the weather, the flight models, and some graphical issues dealing with the scenery. I'm still technically under NDA so you'll have to use your own intuition watching the various videos released to make judgements past that. Ultimately, until you play it, you won't really know everything anyway. Regardless, while I've tried to encourage everyone to go into the relea…

In FSX and P3D we can go into Scenery/world/scenery and set trafficAircraft.bgl, TrafficBoats.bgl and TrafficCarriers.bgl to -off instead of .bgl to turn of default aircrafts and boats so we can use our own ai traffic like AIG's. Is the same possible in MSFS? I know AIG's are not compatible (yet) with MSFS, but I'm pretty sure they will be at some point.
