I cant figure it out ?

No way to get it working properly, Aerosol Density is not the way and it's not even documented / explained to users, but above all, we really need to be able to set prevailing visibility like reported in METAR / SPECI / GAMET / TAF... unless it's just meant to be a pure VFR sim, with some into IMC features...

Probably covered somewhere (but I can't find it): Along with the unclickable cockpit controls (which I found the solution for - now pinned in Tips & Tricks), I also sometimes have a VFR Map which won't track my flight - it stays at the point of departure, with my plane symbol stationary. I can open and close the map, maximise and minimise it, click both of it's buttons (though nothing happens other than the button animation itself). Whilst opening and resizing the ATC window clears the mouse click problem in the cockpit, it doesn't solve this issue. Any ideas while I await the availability of the FS Map Tool for Android devices? Recently my fs recorder had been acting up, as in when i click "instant replay". i expect my plane to show its landing, but sometimes it shows the little red propeller aircraft that shows my aircraft that i selected (i hope i made sense) it is really annoying. any help?

Has there been a fix for the TBM 930's nose bobbing up and down during an ILS approach with the autopilot on? I find this happens both with the original G3000 and the latest G3000 mod, and I can see the elevator trim wheel cycling back and forth. I also noticed the throttle power lever jumping around a few times although the torque value on the MFD did not change. The a/c did seem to generally track the ILS, however. Thx, Al

There has been a fair amount of discussion on how to reduce controller axis sensitivity using the MSFS sensitivity curves, or by modifying the flight_model.cfg files. If you are using FSUIPC7 another approach to do this is to modify the FSUIPC7.ini file. For example, the normal elevator range specified under the [JoystickCalibration] heading in the FSUIPC7.ini file for a Saitek yoke is something like this Elevator = -16384, -256,256, 16383 where the -16384 and 16383 values define the extreme positions of the yoke in pitch. Anybody have a problem where certain add-on sceneries won't display in the sim? There's a guy that is taking Google objects of main terminals and creating Mods of airports like CYYZ and KIAH but they never displayed in my sim. I didn't think much of it until I saw the problem with a payware scenery I just bought (KPIE over at Simmarket). This is a custom scenery and it will not display. It's in the community folder like everything else. I even refreshed my 'contents.xml' with no difference. Everything else from this developer (FSXScenery) works fine. I would love to get to the bottom of what's causing this.

So upgraded my Logitech yoke system to a honeycomb. While waiting for the Bravo throttle I figured out a way to use my Logitech throttle (with the round DIN connector) with the Honeycomb Yoke. Workaround is I plugged in my Logitech yoke with throttle connected. Went into FS and disabled all functions on Logitech yoke (Pitch Yaw and Roll Axis) except for the Power/Fuel/Mixture controls. Works like a charm. I just set the Logitech yoke off to the side! Hope this helps while we wait for the bravo throttle

Having a serious issue since last update. When I click fly now, i ti snot going to cockpit view, instead it is at the view it currently is when it is previewing the flight (if that makes sense) If i press end to go to outside view, it is still stuck but the guages appear and go away when i hit end again. I can't fly and i have had no issues like this before. I updated my graphics driver yesterday and it suddenly worked but now it is doing it again so must not have been that. Any ideas please? Cygnifick on the official forums managed to hack the Taxi Ribbon and make it smaller. You have to replace a file in the official folder for now, but this is a start. Hey folks. I just started taking the built-in flight instruction in the app. There are sometimes objectives that I can't figure out how to do. For instance, in the third video it says 'TO FOCUS ON THE RUNWAY, HOLD..... and then there is an X inside a circle. I don't know what that means. I have holding the letter X, shift X, CTL x, ALT x, etc. Nothing seems to be working. Can someone tell me what an x inside a circle means? Thanks, Rob

After installing the patch (1.9.3.0) I did about 4 or 5 flights (all with successful takeoffs and landings) but found that only one of the flights was logged in the logbook. Has any one else seen this or found a solution?

I'm still unsure whether to choose OnAir or FSEconomy. I have seen several videos on OnAir and have a question - when you for example have two aircraft and hire one pilot, is it necessary to micromanage that hired pilot outside MSFS by assigning him flights and jobs? Or perhaps he flies "in the background" for me, using one of my aircraft? If such micromanagement is required, then when you hire 5, 10 or 20 pilots, you need to assign them jobs all the time? I'm not sure, but there is no personnel hiring option in FSEconomy, which means that addon is focused on the human-pilot only? Thanks!

Hello. Since we now have a good native casual multiplayer in the sim (without having to go to IVAO or VATSIM). Do you guys use it to fly together? How do you go about it? How do you communicate? Im always online, but never really see anyone (due to my routes and the time i fly, mostly late evening and early morning, french time). Only yesterday i bumped into a random guy in the grand canyon and went for a crazy ride insinde the cznyin. It was amazing. Does renaming a mod in the Community folder disable the mod, or do you have to remove the mod from the Community folder to disable it? Thx, Al

So I'm at the stage where I want to learn how to do things in the Airbus such as ILS approaches, and begin to learn the autopilot operation. There are many good Youtube videos that I'm following to help with this. For example today, I'm following this video on how to practise ILS landings. In this video he selects nav approach frequencies via the FMC. However, anything that involves the FMC has me hit a brick wall. 1) a simple operation like setting departure and arrival, for example, typing EGLL, always comes up with "not in database" 2) shouldn't there be a flight plan loaded in the FMC, when I've used the Sim flight planner? guys need some advise here, after I searched in the forum and I didn't find any help. Yesterday I we have internet power outage in our location, when I fire up the sim I was ask for the disk? and there was an option to continue and all seems fine, when I restart my PC soon when my internet get's back online I got this: I don't have any BING maps it's just flat textured scenery, I check my settings and looks fine. and the marketplace was grayed out, I restart the sim and still the same, does anyone encountered this before?
