Yah so in the TBM maybe now and again but almost every flight , When I press the button on my throttle that is trim up is turns Generator to off in the TBM. Ive checked the bindings nothing else is assigned to that joystick button and I have deleted all battery and generator keyboard assignments...and it still happens... Thrustmaster Hotas X is what I am using,, maybe it just doesnt play well with msfs.. anyone else having similar issues?

Hi, I am struggling now since almost 2 weeks to get MSFS2020 to run properly and NOT CTD. I am getting the crashes totally random, sometimes on start up, sometimes during flight setup and also during a flight. Hard to describe well in that thread title! I booted up MSFS for my first flight of the day and saw a couple of unusual things: 1) The home screen had "new" labels on the World Map and Activities links. Some of the Activities had "New" labels too, despite not being new. 2) All the menus on the World Map screen had names like MENU.WORLDMAP.SELECT_DEPARTURE, TIME.LOCAL_UTC_LIVE and MENU_HELP_FREE.FLIGHT_CONDITION It was like I'd somehow been put in a development mode. It should be easy, I know, but where is the location of mfs,exe, or whatever it's called. The installation did not create a desktop icon. Doesn't appear to be in program files. Also do I need to run the program as administrator? Thanks

Hi all, a few years ago I played XP11. I liked this simulator, but gave it up because the game required a lot of add-ons to be playable, which did not always work well and were unintuitive. I am a novice in the subject of aviation so the lack of any lessons, missions or guidance in the game was also problematic. If you wanted to make a flight, you had to spend a huge amount of time searching for the airports data, aircraft servicing, etc. However, the satisfaction with the first successful A320 (Flight Factor) flight (with an amazing sound package from Turbine Sound Studios) was huge. So as my title suggests, once I've completed a flight . Gone to the gate, how can I clear that sector from my MCDU in preparation for a second or next flight?

The replay function was within the top 4 or 5 on the community Wishlist some weeks ago...I have checked the most recent Wishlist and I noticed that now its not even on the list anymore!...does anybody have any information about this?...will Microsoft still incorporate this?...my guess is that they have abandoned the project since its not even on the Wishlist anymore.

I have heard that sometimes the purchase of an airport will include some enhanced surrounding scenery. I’ve never purchased additional scenery but was wondering about this. Understanding that vendors are all different, I was wondering if it was common for surrounding terrain features or buildings etc..., to be of an enhanced quality as well? Specifically, I am considering Norfolk as my first Payware scenery add on. Does anyone know if Norfolk is modeled as well or is it just the airport itself? i know it’s a big Newbie question. Is there a way to export flight plans created in Foreflight and import to MSFS?

I've seen people on youtube with views from the cabin, or wing views through the window in the A320 for example. I have only see the external views from the drop down while in flight. How are you able to get wing views, cabin views, etc?

Hi all. I installed Mfs2020 on a new computer.it worked fine. Got the Japan update etc. However, couple weeks later the hard drive died. replaced drive, reinstalled Windows. I was able to reinstall Msf2020 as before. However, I only got two planes, and no Japan update. In addition, Msf2020 dose not even show up in control panel in order to remove and reinstall. Odd huh. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The way in P3D was to delete the p3d.cfg and let P3d make a ne one. Are we able to do the same thing with FS2020? Regards Mike

Set up a flight from W43 Hulett to go have a look at America's 1st national monument. Using preset weather few clouds and time set to late afternoon I took off in the yellow Zlin Savage Cub. The scenery in this particular area is excellent and is worth it to just go for a sightseeing flight. However, the monument is a bit of a disappointment. It isn't a hand crafted item, the sim does try to represent it but it's misshaped and has trees growing on top. Which is unfortunate since the rest of the area is excellent. For those unfamiliar with the monument it gained notoriety in Steven Spielberg's 1977 movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

I've been off the A320 the last and just went into do a flight, KATL-KMIA. Loaded up cold and dark at a gate. Turned my nav on lite up the cockpit with power. Went to the MCDU to load a flight plan. Went into the INIT page, loaded KATL-KMIA into the from and to etc. Added a flight number cost index cruise altitude. Went to F-PLN to load in my SID,STAR and waypoints. Click departure, top left KATL nothing happens. Same for arrival. Can't select anything. What's changed?

I've got my VOR working on Dino's MB339 but how to get the glideslope to work? I flew a ILS RWY 32 at KSTP. The localizer was great but the glide slope marker never showed up on the attitude indicator. Anyone know how to get this?

I set myself up to fly today from a departure point on the US east coast, and an arrival of Atlanta, flying VOR to VOR. So it generated a simple little flight plan. I loaded it up and...the plan included the waypoint NBC, somewhere of off Africa! I set the plane to fly, assuming it would ignore that. Sure enough, that's what happened. Instead, it flew over KNBC and then caught the rest of the plan and went from there. Very odd.

Does anyone know yet if Plan-G and LittleNavMap will be updated to be compatible with FS? That would be great.

Hello, I started learning MSFS using a T-Flight Hotas X and have been getting on reasonably well. I just added a new Honeycomb alpha flight yolk and have encountered various problems. I plugged this into my PC alongside the Hotas X (for the throttle ability) and have so far only tried two flights in light aircraft both of which ended up with the Garmin screens turning off after a few minutes and a message like you need the electronics turned on (or something similar). I unplugged the Honeycomb and tried the same flights again using my trusty Hotas on its own and everything went OK. Is anybody else using both a Hotas X and a Honeycomb at the same time or do you think …

Up until now, the world has been looking good. Today, in French Polynesia, I discovered the landscape is not right. This is (my) Bora Bora on ultra setting. Something is definitely amiss. I've seen other screenshots and although the area could use a good upgrade, other pilots do not have the same sandy wasteland I am seeing. It should at least be tree-covered.

I thought it might be helpful to some to point out a few things about the autopilot in the G3000. When the Garmin G3000 autopilot (AP) is ON the a/c will always be in AP controlled modes with respect to both the lateral (roll) and vertical (pitch) axes. This is similar to other Garmin autopilots like GFC 600 and in the G1000. This means, for example, unlike some other autopilots where the lateral and vertical modes are independent, you cannot have the autopilot in HDG mode or NAV mode but still control altitude manually, or vice versa.
