Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Anyone else have this issue ? Just loaded the TBM from Dallas to Houston. threw on the AP and left for a few minutes, and come back to see the aircraft trying to hold the heading with a wing down about 20 degrees. Never saw this before this last patch

I sure this silly but I assume FS 2020 is far superior to FSX even with my huge scenery library?

Has anyone tried the new update with the FlybyWire Mod, the Working Title Mod for the Cj4 or the G3X Mod? Any issues?

For those of us that had KSFO missing from the navdata in 1.9.5 it's back. Just tested with the dev branch A320NX and the default 787. Both allowed me to enter KSFO in the FMC in the premium deluxe version.

How do i adjust the pitch trim? Not information is displayed on the MCDU. Or maybe it's calculated automatically?

I save the game every 10 minutes in case the game crashes. Well, tonight it crashed. After reloading my saved file (.FLT), the weather went from this: To this: The weather menu is grayed out and unselectable. So by loading a saved flight, it goes from Live Weather to clear skies and no weather. I don't know why this has to be an ordeal every update. My Radeon software adds an FS2020 profile to it and I can use my 3 monitors via the Eyefinity feature. Well that got nuked...again...after this update. Only this time I can no longer locate the executable to add back into the app. Any idea?

I think the new night lighint looks bad.. looks like they removed all the random lights and just left the streetlighs and car lights so night lighting looks very planned out and grid like. no random yard lights or house lights.. looked better before imo... all this talk of making ground handling better and planes less wobbly in flight especially the tbm.. all Ive noticed is that sensitivities are turned down and the trim adjustments are super sensitive and fast... ohh I just noticed they added some features to joystick sensitivity so i guess they were all reset?

HI Guys n Gals. If I subscribe to navigraph, does Navigraph update the Airport database in MSFS2020 so that a lot of the missing ILS approaches now appear? and does it do this on the MSFS2020 inbuilt flight planner so I can automatically get the new data? Also.. is Navigraph good for world wide, or better in certain areas.. I fly most;y in the UK and Europe. I tried to look on the Navigraph forums, but i cannot get to see those without a subscription 🙂 Thanks in advance Graham

Does anybody have any recommendations on an improved sound pack set for the FBW a320?

I have the "FLIGHT YOKE SYSTEM PROFESSIONAL SIMULATION YOKE AND THROTTLE QUADRANT", however everytime I 'idle' the thrust levers, the engines shut down. Any ideas?

I used to have it by default that my steering could be controlled by my twist axis on my T.1600. That stopped working. Is there a way to get that back? I am guessing it is in the settings but I want to make sure I get that corrected. I am not using FSUIPC. Also, is there a way to have the twist axis only control steering and my rudder pedals only control my rudder? Or is that a functionality that I would need FSUIPC for? And speaking of FSUIPC for MS2020, I heard there is a beta version out. Does it work the same as in P3d? How would I access that menu in the sim?

For me MSFS2020 on release had bad AA and shimmering, patch two fixed it, a lot better AA, and less shimmering, but then patch 3 went back to bad AA with bad shimmering, is there any fix for this ?, using Nvidia RTX2080 Super.

I’v downloaded about thirty different addons such as liveries to my MSFS 2020 game but only a couple of them work and the rest don’t. The game is on an external SSD and the community folder is located in the game folder ! is this why i’m having issue ?

I see some concerns about IFR and wondering where a problem might start.. World map = set departure and arrival airport and runways. Set the waypoints or VORs and the ILS frequency. Seems straightforward enough. So are there 3 possible problem areas? 1) The aeroplane is not recognizing some of this 2) ATC interaction 3) Autopilot I saw a Youtube video with fs2020 A320 default plane and it seemed to work ok, For the moment i am fine with basic flight planning procedures and not looking for total real-world procedures,Rnav etc. Are 3rd party add-ons a workaround? I don't get it, why is this at the top of the bug list? Boggles the mind. So, an additional 1 second of pressing a key is more troubling to folks than the dozen or so other issues?

Hi guys, I'm still getting a failure everytime I try and use the Marketplace. There doesn't appear to be anywhere to go to get support on this from Microsoft... Can anyone help? I'm worried that really decent 3rd party software may at some point only be available through the marketplace, and I won't be able to access it. Thanks again, Ben

After updating the MSFS2020, don't forget to look in the content manager for "optional" updates. I just updated first in MS Store, then via the sim, and finally found half a dozen additional (all Japan) updates available in content manager.

Hey everyone - as far as I can tell, the ILS headings in sim are locked to the runway headings. Any ILS approach where the heading in real life is at an angle is not properly represented, at least of the ones I have seen. I'd like to make a really clearly documented ZenDesk ticket and a Bugs/Issues post about this. Are others seeing the same thing? What's your favorite airport with a slightly offset angle ILS approach or an LDA approach so I can go check it out?
