Hi there, started off Yellowknife yesterday and the wonderful lake landscape is just a plain joke in MSFS. Each and ever waterbody is several feet above ground level, looks just plain ridiculous. Are there any elevation corrections available already somewhere? Thanks for a heads up...

Hi All After update 5 the autopilot has not worked correctly, the problem is with the VS and altitude capture. When setting the VS the nose up button/wheel is incrementing in 328ft per min steps instead of the usual 100ft per min, and the nose down button/wheel doesn't have any effect it doesn't bring down my VS. And finally the autopilot wont capture the altitude set in the altitude window. All this was working fine until update 5. I have no mods in my community folder except Navigraph navdata and the problem is the same across all aircraft whether it has G1000 or G3000 avionics. Hello, I am looking to get back into flightsimming and eagerly awaiting MSFS2020 with my honeycomb alpha yoke. It's been a decade since I last flew sims. Does anyone know (for MSFS 2020) if there is any built-in ability or 3rd party plugin that can judge landings/takeoffs and give an actual score with quantified measurements? For example how well you followed the glide slope, alignment, landing impact etc. Something like a 3-axis G-force read back would be a great way to do this. This would IMO add a real depth to the game.

I am not sure when this was released, but has anybody here tried this software and know if it is any help at all?

There’s so many free addons already that it’s hard to keep track of what’s new and good. I found this list with a good selection, but I feel like there are so many more great free stuff that no one knows about, or are not yet well known. So, what are the best free addons so far in your opinion? Anything really must-have or a good alternative to payware?

Let me first off say this patch has done some good in the sim. On the other hand it's broken some key mods and the Longitude has new issues: 1. The Dolphin Dance has been traded for wing rock after 40,000ft that's about as bad as the dance 2. When the autopilot is activated the plane violently at times grabs the AOA set in the autopilot. Very frustrating after takeoff Still testing but I can say at least I can get this bird past 36,000ft before the new issue starts. Still testing.

I have MSFS with HDR mode enabled and fly with a 55" HDR TV and it looks absolutely beautiful while in the sim. However when taking a screenshot and opening it up, it looks very washed out. Is there a way to be able to take srceenshots while running in HDR mode and have the picture show up like it appears in the game? I would like to share the picture with some friends but it just doesn't look the same as in the game? A workaround would for me to disable HDR mode in window and then launch the game and then take a screenshot, but then I would be missing out on the HDR features while flying.

Bought the premier version and for some reason forced to redownload and now I have 2 planes? Simply Pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have no idea what I am suppose to do...............Had no idea P3D could be better.

I am confused by the autopilot options. First there is ai control, then there is ai co pilot and then there is autopilot. I would like to know what the difference is. i have been reading posts and when someone asks about the autopilot functions, they get different answers on the options. I'm getting confused as to which option they are talking about. For me, I would just like to watch a plane fly from airport to airport and not have to control anything and just let it "fly". What is the best option or setting to do this?

Does anyone know of a configuration setting or a mod that corrects the distortion that occurs in the edges of the display when running with a ultrawide setup? Is anyone running with triples here? Are you able to correct the image?

Hey guys, I'm having issues with the A32NX approach procedures in MSFS. I've been unsuccessful at descending past FL960 and I'm pulling my hair out over it! Currently, I've been using a standard VNAV descent profile to begin my re-entry but I always end up in an aircraft over-stress. When descending past FL3600 or below, what attitude do you guys normally use to continue your descent down to the STAR? Also, I get an "Above Max Cert Alt" alert on the ECAM whenever I climb to cruise. What's worse is the A32NX over-stresses whenever I reach Mach 4.5. Also everything is on fire. I don't know about you, but since the first day of MSFS, I have been unhappy with the "washed out", overly bright color and tone of the ground below and the topography overall. I wonder how all of you have your color set in the sim. Today, I went from Deuteranopia to Deuteranopia High Contrast. Wow! What a difference for me on my computer/monitor. The ground looks so much more lifelike and more realistic to me. I can now look out of the cockpit and not have to move higher in the seat to see the color deepness. I can't run MSFS 2020 in Steam. Don't ask - it would take too long to explain. However, if you would like to have a side discussion I can send you my email address. Xbox is very unclear if I can run the premium deluxe version of MSFS 2020 in Xbox without a Game Pass. In 2 years I will have paid for the game twice with Game Pass! My question is this - if I buy MSFS 2020 outright what is the best environment I can run it in without incurring additional costs? Can I run it outside of Xbox? How do I install it, set it up, and run it without Steam or Xbox, assuming that it is possible? Thank you.

While I'm flying around the trim wheel starts moving on it's own like a ghost is pulling it causing the plane to fly straight down. This happen to anyone else?

I wish Gulfstream would allow their planes to be simulated.

USB CTD hotfix was over 800mb and with upcoming world updates and whatever else they end up fixing and patching and with Aosobo saying they wanted to support MSFS for 10 years...I can see this game taking up alot of storage..even without addons. Time to buy a dedicated drive.

hi guys, as the title says, for the first time ever , the A/C is swinging left to right while in cruise @FL390. i have the mod installed and a fresh version of dev download from the installer after the update. Im thinking is it dutch roll, is there a switch or so in the flight deck. many thanks.
