Hmmm... All the G3000 are like this any ideas? I don't believe I have added any enhancement. Not that I know of.

I have been trying to coax the startup but it hangs everytime here: I have cleared out my Community Folder but, that didn't help. Anyone else having this problem?

Before the latest update everything was fine, I had decent performance in many places in the light aircraft despite my aging PC. After the update, performance is much worse to the extent the simulator has become unusable. An example: Before update, Cessna 172 (non-G1000) at FACT Cape Town I could easily see 45fps even when looking at the terminal building. Dev mode would say I am GPU limited, which is correct and the Rdrthread (render thread) was executing in less than 10 ms. After update, same sceanrio I am seeing a little as 15fps. Now Dev mod says I am "Limited by RdrThread", something I've never seen before. The Rdrthread is now taking over 60ms to comp…

I cant update I click MSFS start either from store or desktop icon. Software does its usual, checks for updates and continues to welcome page. It does not tell me or give any option to update. I go to content manager and it shows 'core' content greyed out though it says 'relaunch the game to update'. everything else says up to date. what is unusual to me is, when I go to MS store I don't see MSFS there I have to do a search and then it shows up telling me that I own the game and show an option to 'play' the game. Clicking play results in the scenario I shared above. If I search for updates in Windows store it shows all my Microsoft products except…

Using the CH Throttle Quad and can't figure out how to use the new MSFS Sensitivity features to adjust the levers. There is now a more things to mess with and no instructions. Can't figure them out. I can only get 95% full open on any of the levers.

Did they fix / implement T/D on the navigational display and MCDU? I am on a flight right now and the ND is showing the hockey stick and I have never seen that in MSFS until now. I wasn't sure if that was accurate or if they fixed it. Also, the sounds seem a bit different as well .

I live in the South Pacific region, and woke up to read about the new patch drop, and all the issues everyone was having. Feeling brave, I started up my FlightSim PC, and launched MSFS, fully expecting to receive an update notice. Instead, it sails through and I end up at the menu in 1.9.0.5. and runs as expected, albeit on the 'previous' version. I have since rebooted, the PC, checked to make sure MS Store was able to update any other components needing updates, even tried running wsreset as Admin, and still I do not get any warning about a pending update. Has anyone more than me noted a performance loss with Mooney? I got 10 fps less after the patch, standard GA aircraft's seems to give me the same performance as before, but the Mooney seems to suffer in performance after the update for me.

I flew over China before heading north to see how the Ghengis Khan Equestrian Statue was represented. Sadly, it's a round office building with houses replacing the archway over the entrance road. Has anyone else had trouble with panel controls going nuts when you try to adjust them with the mouse in the latest version? I've only tried the 172 (non-G1000) but it happens in a number of places. You want to adjust the heading bug or tune a radio, you click a few times in the right spot and at first it responds normally, then the control just starts spinning. Clicking again will sometimes stop it, but it's almost impossible to get something set the way you want.

Maybe this topic got talked to death already I am not sure but just wondering why we cant , in atleast teh cessnas and tbm reach advertised max cruise speeds? Is this something that will eventually be fixed or are we stuck with it unless we go to third party planes? Or modify our files?

Since my Gaming Services app in in an install loop, and my free Game Pass subscription ends tomorrow, I will have to try a Windows Reset before installing the Premium Deluxe version for which I have bought a code from Amazon (i.e. I have not bought an upgrade through the Game Pass version). I've been on Windows version 1909 without problems until now but I will try upgrading to version 2004 before the reset, just in case that solves my issues (which include a number of previous system updates failing to re-install after I tried a System Restore). The white dot in the middle is stick and rudder centered. See, when you move stick or rudder it very gently rolls, elevates, or yaws. And if you need it there is full stick and rudder at the extremes. I'm loving the new sensitivity dual ended sensitivities that the patch introduced! In fact, for me it's out with FSUIPC and in with Asobo's new idea!

MS/ASOBO have now released v0.7.00 of their SDK, but once again no updates and improvements are seen related to SimConnect. This means that we are still a long way from getting a SimConnect that will allow us to connect hardware modules in our "home" cockpits.
