As a former IT project delivery manager, I always found it useful to understand how a software release met initial user expectations. Having read a multitude of comments and opinions regarding MSFS 2020, I'm interested to know if the simulation has met your initial expectations. If so, why? If not, what would you characterize are your biggest disappointments? I for one would say the release has met my expectations for the most part. I primarily fly GA aircraft so I appreciate the graphics detail. Is it perfect? Hello, several times over the past few months I have asked ground crew at major airports to refuel me, after a long wait a fuel tanker turns up and parks 50 odd mtrs away and just sits there. A fuel chart pops up, I select 100% and turn it off and tell the ground crew I have finished with the tanker, yet in my profile it states 0% for refueling. Without a manual it is hard to know what I am doing wrong, any ideas please?

Ok so I updated my nvidia driver yesterday, and today I'm trying to stream through Nvidia overlay broadcasting. However, When I try to use keyboard to either sign in to youtube, or edit the title on twitch, I only control my airplane through keyboard, and the text box to enter credentials isn't picking up my keystrokes. Any one else experiencing this too?

I have been using these forums for years and have received lots of valuable help. But recently I have been noticing some strange tones when reading some posts. I confess that I am not a flyer but rather a spotter or watcher of ai planes and following them from gate to gate. When MSFS was released there was an ai control option which lets the sim do all the work and I can just sit and watch. But sadly that feature hasn't worked anymore and may never work again. Ok, for my next issue we turn to Mixture Controls. I use the CH Products Throttle Quadrant. I have no problems with setting up the Throttles and Prop controls, but can't seem to get the Mixture controls set. I have tried both setting them on the plus side and the negative side of the Sensitivity meter and in order to get 100% rich, I loose control on the lean side. Right now I have them set at plus 85 with zero Dead Zone and this gives me 99% Rich, but not very sensitive when leaning the mixture. It will jump down smoothly from 99% to 54%, but then it jumps around and quickly drops down to Cut Off. Anyone using this CH Throttle Quadrant been successful with the mixtu…

After the patch#5 my TBM is climbing tilted to the right and doesnt get straight... It is not turning but flying straight line yet she is tilted right. Highly annoying to fly with autopilot yet again... Why does it seem that ASOBO breaks my TBM after every patch. edit: Flying with live weather and switched to clear weather still same problem. turning to the lesft corrects the problem first but then makes it back. disconnecting autopilot makes it stop but activating autopilot makes it tilt again.

After the update, things looked good. The next day I was fine tuning the controls and then left the pc. When I got back, the sim had crashed. First, Microsoft gave me an error code that I no longer owned the game. After verifying in the store that I still owned the game and I could press the button "play", I found that the MS icon on the desktop fails to start the sim. I "repaired" it, but still nothing happens. I am hesitant to do a reinstall. Any ideas. tony

Lost all my mods to G1000, G3000, and Bonanza G36. The G36T mods (Robert Young) have vanished. The COMMUNITY folder looks perfect. Can not make mouse cursor move off the main screen - when it hits edge of screen it starts rotating the view but the icon vanishes When I do get the mouse icon moved to 2nd screen and click there to establish the focus - it still ALSO clicks on the main screen and changes the view. No, not being rude but having encountered this in the A320 and 747 the problem seems endemic to all aircraft. Just tried setting the altitude in the C172 and after clicking the Alt knob, it started spinning and only stopped when it reached 99,999 feet. Others are reporting this on the Steam forum. Seems to have been introduced with the last patch, not had this before. Guess it's time for another Zendesk report...

Ever since the Japan update, ocean water has a dirty green appearance when I look directly below the plane. As I look toward the horizon, the color gradually changes from dirty green to a more normal dark blue. Take a look at the photo below for an example of the dirty green hue. This is still true in the latest patch (version 1.10.8.0). Is anyone else experiencing this? I scrolled through the graphics settings options to see if I inadvertently changed something related to water appearance, but I can't find any settings related to water at all.

Hi all Ive been watching the forums and thanking my lucky stars that I have not had a lot of the problems people have been having with this sim. This morning I fired up MSFS and all was fine when at 38000 ft with the a320nx mod latest safe version suddenly poof the sim disappeared. I rebooted my computer and attempted to restart MSFS but when I click on the icon now nothing happens. I dont know what to do now . Anyone have any ideas. Now Im frustrated. Don

I am constantly taking a look at MSFS2020 on the Steam throughout today, the reviews went from very positive to mixed - which is very bad indicator. I know, reviews below 1K is not much yet. When reading the reviews, many complain of technical issues - such as buying premium deluxe edition and not having all the content, contacting steam support and steam support telling to contact microsoft and then the microsoft telling the opposite; buying it on steam but having to create x-box account etc.). I do not think this is a good reputation for a high-profile product such as this one to have several screw-ups during the official release. I wonder if the publisher will be ei…

I understand Xbox Series X will become available in the USA, November 10. To date I haven't seen any information on an Xbox version of MSFS 2020. Is there anything coming? T45

Landed at Nashville Intl (KBNA) last night and noticed a fun little quirk. As I was taking to parking, I noticed a bunch of traffic (cars, not airline equipment) that appeared to be on the actual taxiway. As I got closer, I noticed cars going by right in front of me. Made it to the gate and shut down. Found out there is a highway that runs underneath the taxiway between the runways and the terminal/parking. Noticed today when I took off that the cars actually appear to start to go under the taxiway but not quite. Just one of those quirks when you're using satellite imagery.
