Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi, is the release of the new aerosoft crj a good sign that we might expect now new airliners to be released for the MSFS or at least will see some progress in development of payware quality airliners? Am I right assuming that when Aerosoft manages to develope a payware airliner with the now available SDK other developers as PMDG etc shall be too?

I am thinking about buying the Arrow III, but find the tablet that shows up on the screenshots just too out of place for a plane of this era. Is there a way to toggle whether it is visible?

when start up MSFS i had gpuz sensors open to check what going on during startup, it put a lot of strain on the GPU. when blackshark logo opens 364W power draw from gpu , then castle raibow opens it raise to 458W then last in welcome 471W the powerdraw during startup can easy be a problem with factory OC cards and if you not take care when try to OC your GPU My highest value when testing was 530W

Firstly, I'm a bit of a novice to all this.... Thought I'd purchase the Just Flight Piper Arrow as it was getting some good reviews and praised for it's flight model. So trying to fly from Munich to Innsbruck. Need to climb above those hills! Have throttle on full, RPM full, Mixture SIM controlled but at 100%. Plane is doing 90 knots and sitting pretty level. If I try to get it to climb, speed drops and get stall warnings. Gear is up!! Flaps retracted. So where am I going wrong?

I'm looking once or twice a day and purusing all recent threads for commentary. If you see solid evidence, official statements to this effect, and substantiated w/ a flight or two that this has been fixed, restored, etc please post the news here. Hello, I'm having trouble with the live weather. 50% of the time, I choose live weather and there is not a single cloud, and the altimeter setting is the default 2992. I try changing servers etc. but nothing helps except quitting flightsim and restarting, then I have weather again. Until the next flight theres a 50% chance it's gone again and I have to restart. When the weather is gone, I do still have the tags of other players flying and the clouds on the world map. Another issue I have is that I frequently fly with my dad. After getting into some of the advanced flight planning features in the default airliners and the new CRJ - there are a few things I'm still confused about in terms of how flight planning works in the real world. Premise: I have set 10% deadzones for the controller, the issue is not related to that. Even if USR / USER waypoints are not generated anymore, I noticed that when I modify the flight plan during the flight, the aircraft starts to fly in circles trying to reach the waypoint it has just passed. This happens for example when I start a flight without selecting an arrival procedure in the MCDU and I do it as I approach the airport, once instructed by the ATC (usually 40-60 miles from destination). It's one thing when this sim shows a pattern of decline with each update; it is immeasurably worse when this incompetent coding presents a danger to expensive hardware. CPU temps are fluctuating between 95 and 100 degrees for several minutes at a time. I have tried setting parameters to "Low" but the problem persists. I am also aware of the throttling down of CPU'S when they get too hot--as an emergency feature--but there is still heat stress that leads to diminished life span of these expensive items. after the last update that makes the experimental version non functional I had a configuration set up for the mod from Github that made the setup function in a straight line all indents workings as intended. Now. In idle... I'm in reverse trust?... any thoughts of what happened? I tried another 'paste' of the code and it did didn't work.

My apologies to the very kind chap who made a host of nice propeller mods for all the Asobo aircraft. I've forgotten his name. 🙁 The question is how many of them are still needed? With mods and updates coming through for so many things it's hard to keep up.

Having flown the A320 for years I am used to the autotrim that it had. With the CRJ, I now need to trim the plane more. With that said, is there a way to map the trim controls to my T1600m stick? If so, what is the best way to do that?

Does anyone know of a source for expired VFR maps to help with lowe-level GA flying in MSFS. I can understand the need for actual pilots to always have the most recent ones, but for flying around oin MSFS having something that's a year or two out of date would seem fine and would help with the immersion and flight planning in MSFS.

When MSFS 2020 starts, I set up my preferences and then apply and save. After quitting the game and then starting it the next time, the preferences have gone back to default. Why is the game not saving them ?

Just watching .to, I have been surprised by the volume of liveries landing there. Particularly the 700, which seems to be increasing almost exponentially, on a daily basis. Curious why - is there a good paint kit? Is the CRJ easy to do liveries for? T45

Have bought both the Carenado and JF PA28. I can fly the JF PA28 all day long. It loads into the FS2020 Community Folder. But the Carenado PA28 does not. Purchased from the Market Place you have no control on where it gets installed. Same thing with the CRJ purchased from Aerosoft. So when I attempt to fly either the Carenodo PA28 or Aerosoft's CRJ I get instant CTD's. Can anyone solve this frustrating enigma ? FS2020 running on Steam. Thanks in advance

Simulacion Extrema has a bunch of its Patagonia airports on sale, only just noticed it. You may already have SJCO as that was free several weeks back so I picked up the other 4 on sale today. As discussed back then they aren't ORBX quality but if you like flying in South American which imo is still one of the most striking places for GA flying I don't think you will be too disappointed given the value for money. They are pretty much on par with the Sierrasim ones which also cover that continent but focus more on Columbia and Ecuador so far, these ones cover Chile and Argentina . I have been trying to use the MSFS standard shortcut keys on the CRJ, but only a few seem to work, i.e movement keys and preset camera views, but trying things like turning on the battery (Alt +B), and lights, has no effect, yet Aerosoft lists all the shortcut key commands in the "Appendix" section of the CRJ Manuel. I needed all the k/b shortcut keys to work so I could setup a "Stream Deck" profile. Any ideas guys?. Thanks for looking.
