Hey folks, since summer i have not been able to fly in sim. Since then some new aircrafts came out and existing ones got updates. Could you all list which aircraft are most realistic and close to study level? or maybe some are on the horizon to be released soon?

Is there a way to upload a Simbrief flight plan with all of the necessary info (fuel, pax, cargo, froute etc.) directly into MSFS like you can in P3d? Maybe that would be a way to get more accurate numbers for ZFW and payload into MSFS. Is this possible?

I recently installed MSFS2020. When I am in the second flying lesson, while the instructor has control of the plane and is showing me the instrument panel up close, she flies the plane straight into the ground. Nothing I do seems to have any effect, as she has taken exclusive control of the plane. The first lesson went smoothly, but the second lesson, the instructor always does this right off the bat. All of my hardware, the yoke and rudder pedals and instrument panels, all work ok when I am just fllyng around. Is this a new bug? Reboots don't help, and this happens with both the Steam version and the regular version.

I still have vague (and fading) hopes that a company other than Carenado will deliver biz jets to MSFS 2020. I was hoping to read some kind of road map to that effect on Eaglesoft's webpage and was disappointed to see that their youtube channel contains only stuff related to 32 bit sims. Well, here's hoping.....

  6. Can anyone let me know what sensitivity settings are recommended for the CRJ's? I've only done 2 flights so far but find that it is way too sensitive or "bouncy". I've seen this on videos as well. In my flights my balance and loading was correct. Also, I've noticed that every time I am on the ground if I hit ESC and go to change a setting or go to my controls page, when I get back in the cockpit it shuts down and goes back to a cold and dark state or a on battery state. I haven't look through the listed bugs but is this known and happening for anyone else?

    1. I start flight, and the co pilot's head is sticking through the side windscreen and I can't get him to go away even with the tablet menu. 2. I start the Arrow, and the Garmin 530 screen is dark. I finally had to restart the flight in MSfs 2020 to get it to light up. 3. I take off, and retract the gear, and the gear warning sound starts up along with tghe light, and will not go out no matter what I do. I aborted the flight and restarted my PC 4. After restating the flight again, the GPS screen is dark again. 5. Had to restart the flight again, and now the GPS screen is lit. So I have to start the flight twice to use the GPS. 6. Now Track I…

  8. Now with the CRJ I easily have 10 views setup for my captain position alone using ctrl-alt 1 to 0 and then mapped them to my hotas Given the CRJ allows me to use different FMC settings and screen settings for the FO I would like to map some additional cameras again to jump to those screens quickly, there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. Would the paid version of FSUIPC allow for this?

I’ve heard that some people have had success in importing FSX aircraft into MSFS2020, but was wondering how exactly it was done, and to what degree of success one should expect.

I am on the verge of a pure GA VFR ----> IFR Airliner transition. It feels like things are starting to improve a bit on system rich aircraft for MSFS. Sadly, SU3 introduced some performance problems, and I quite unsure where should spend my free time at the moment. I would like to know what is in your opinion the best all rounded airliner so far, all things considered (price/if any, performance, and..well, quality overall in a nutshell). CJ4 by WT A320 by FSW CRJ by AS. Any other I may have missed. Thanks in advance.

I have configured the Honey Comb Throttle for a 2 Engine Jet. When I use this configuration the throttles work fine. With the default aircraft. In the CRJ the engine gauges in the cockpit indicate they recognize the Honey Comb throttles. But the throttles in the sim don't move. What have I missed? Thank You. Bill McCracken

Was playing MSFS last night and no issues. Went to load it up today and it got stuck on checking for updates screen so eventually killed it with task manager. Now when trying to load it up it's looking to do a complete reinstall of 156GB. I've tried rebooting PC, made sure all Windows up to date, Nvidia up to date, run as administrator, repaired the app, reset the app, etc. and nothing is working. Any ideas? I've always had the MSFS package installed in a custom location and not the default in C:\Users - has it just lost how to find it somehow? Edit - solved the issue. When the install option comes up if you browse and select the folder where you have the package sav…

  18. Hello, Yesterday i was cruising the TBM along the coastline of Belgium up to Groningen NL and my observation was that there a so many clouds lit up where there's actually no light underneath. Even way out offshore there was a layer of very bright clouds. The sun had already set and you could clearly see the orange tint of the lights so i assume it was not the last bit of sunlight. So i might correct the headline they aren't too bright but there are many clouds lit up where they shouldn't in my opinion. Additional to that i still see plenty of light emitting ground textures which looks a bit weird. Anyone else?

  20. Does anyone know if the Grand Caravan EX in the sim should have linear sensitivity, curved, or ??? - on an Alpha Yoke. I'm guessing you would have to have flown the real thing or got advice from someone who had to know the answer to this. I know the advice from the FlybyWire team is to use linear sensitivity settings on the Airbus but I haven't found any advice on how to deal with the 208b. Thanks!

  21. This is the list of things I have experience of others have reported so far : 1. The aircraft will bank hard from left to right when trying to capture WPT (20 degree bank). This is intermittent. 2. Aircraft is sometimes unable to catch GlideSlope 3. Some users reports they are unable to map reverse thrust with Warthog X 4. Unable to load a flightplan in FMS ( I followed the manual to the letter. doesn't work at all) . I just found that the location folder in the documentation is the wrong folder. 5. If you spawn on the runway (Ready for taxi by default). Go to Cold and Dark and try to go back to Ready for Taxi, the MFD/PFD will be dark. Turnaroun…

I am a fan. A huge fan. But after the latest update, now closing in on 14 days, frame rates are horrible, I dare say the sim became 'unsimable'! Asobo/MS please give us a hotfix! I tried every tweak known to men. Something is bottlenecking the sim. I do not understand why you release an update, which such bad performance. Why are things not tested before release?????? At least give us an option to roll back and do not force untested updates on us - a bad practice from a user point of view. Just saying - I am still a fan.

The IndiaFoxTecho MB 339, available in the Marketplace, is a project worthy of support. If you would like to fly a jet, but don't fancy yourself in the complex button-pushing world of the tube liners, the MB 339 might be right up your alley. It gives you the options of high altitude, high speed, and a range of almost 1000 miles. It will introduce you to jet operations and procedures while retaining a feel closer to the maneuverable piston flyers. While it's still a work in progress, there are lots of things to keep you busy in the office. Part of the charm is the fact there are no glass panels. Its all 70's era steam gauges. If you haven't had the R/W experience of hand f…
