Hi all , Today i did some Testflight over London City with Programetry on and off ( just to see what happens ) and for me the far better solution seems to keep Programetry to off. Two reasons for that: Mutch better and smoother Frames and the Grafik look also seems so mutch better with PM off ( melted buildings issue ) - so what do you mean ? And if most people does this also ( PM to off ) what is the sense off this Programetry ? - because the look isn`t that beautiful all around..🤔 cheers 😉

Hi Folks, Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. I was wondering how people approach flight planning with Live Weather. Given that it is model based and the Metars may not correspond to the current real weather, how does one go about determining proper take-off runway when creating a flight plan in Sim-brief for instance. Do you start the game at the intended departure airport, determine the weather, go into simbrief and create appropriate flight plan and export it, and then finally load it into the flightsim? Hi guys , After last Simupdate ( the called performance patch ) something was goeing on or wrong with my Sim. Never since beginning with MSFS i had any kind of problem regarding Updates and stuff like that, CTD`s are also real rare for me. But after the update at Friday sometting isn`t like it should and i can`t find realy the reason. I updated via Store first, than started the Sim and first thing what was wondering me was the Sim took no update over/in the sim, if i am not wrong there should a small one. Had to remove msfs and want to reinstall.....no where can I find on xbox site or microsoft site a link to download a purchased game,,,they all want me to buy it again even after I signed in with my msfs name log on...

I've instelled the Little Navmap on my laptop to act as a second montor to my gaming computer, but I've having trouble to se the ILS feahter on the map. Clicking on the ILS feahter icon seems to have no effect. Any Little Navmap expert here on the forum to guide me right? 🙂. I cab see my aircraft moving correctly on the mapp when I fly. It's just the ILS Feather that dosen't show up.

So I discovered a nasty bug! It most noticeable with crosswind landing when mais already touch down by nose gear still in the air! As some of you may aware there are several techniques for crosswind landing. I personally prefer "crab & kick". Basically you "crab" or fly approach with airplane nose pointing into wind side (windcocking). Some people may say airplane flying sideways, that is because pilot offsets approach handing to compensate for a drift. I am flying happily on p3d since is born , the last few months i've noticed (it was hard not to heheh... ) fs 2020 . I waited (as always) to start this new adventure but i can't separate the negative comments from the positive ones (my fault ) I found very conflicting opinions,and even here which I believe to be the reference point for me. Quick question: when you update the community folder (add/remove/modify a mod), what do you need to do to have MSFS taking it into account? I know that restarting the sim does the job, but is there a faster way to do this? Thanks.

When I try do an RNAV landing on a particular runway, I've given loads of options like RNAV05R XY RNAV05R TU RNAV05R XS What's the difference, what one to select?

Recently did a coastal flight which was going okay until I decided it might be nice to go down low and fly alongside the cliffs. It wasn’t. It was horrible. The cliffs just couldn’t decide what shape they wanted to be, and were constantly morphing. This was up pretty close, maybe 100-150 yards away. It was so ridiculous, and immersion killing, that I had to climb back up to get away from them. What setting determines how to calm this down a bit? I’m currently running in VR with a 5950X, and a 3090. Settings are fairly high on the whole.

Hi settings are ultra and online connection is on but flight from Newark to Kjfk is not very good. Only liberty statue, brooklyn bridge and empire state building all the rest is standard fsx quality. Do I have to go with that or am I doing something wrong? Thanks

Just saw that since the hotfix my GPU constantly runs between 95 and 100 percent load while the CPU chills at 25. Sim runs smooth @4k ultra but I'm afraid running it at constantly high loads will harm the GPU in the long term. GPU: RTX3080 CPU: i9-9900k

I have MSFSX 2020 installed via Xpass. I just added Honeycomb Alpha yoke. These are the issues. Some of the buttons do not have any affect, such as viewing hat does not show any views. MSFS does see the yoke and yaw and pitch work. I downloaded the driver from Honeycomb site FSX download, which when I run on Win 10 X64 20HC is asking for MS Flight simulator directory which I cannot locate. Is this not possible in Xpass version? Note I tried both options during driver install Flight Simulator and Stream. Is there another way of configuring the buttons on the yoke or do I have to purchase a digital copy of it instead of Xpass version. Appr…

There used to be a menu, available during a flight, that allowed the user to make changes such as a choice of a 2d or 3d cockpit, changes to control settings/sensitivity and more. Is it still available? If so, how would I access it? Many thanks, Brian

Hey all Very impressed with the FBW mod but not with the reduced performance I'm seeing. I guess that's the tradeoff with a more complex systems or is it just not well optimized? I'm obviously doing something stupid here... I have installed and run setup for a purchased version of GIT MS2020. However, every time I double click (either the program or the desktop shortcut) to open the program, I just get a message that a version of the program is already running, but no GIT program screen is displayed. That said, there is a brief "flash" on screen as though the program is running, but not staying "open" so I can't access it. Nothing shows as open in the task manager as well.The same situation occurs whether I'm trying to run the program with or without MSFS 2020 loaded and running. Hey Folks...I installed the new update and was able to start sim and place aircraft at a runway. Today...I can start sim but whenever I try to add a flight plan from world map it crashes when I select IFR plan. The destination airport info does not load and then crashes. I have nothing added to the sim..everything default. Anyone experience this problem or know a solution?
