Whats going on with the FBW installer? When I select update, it freezes on preparing update, no matter which version I try to update. I uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue. Gnacino

I am flying the TBM again after the latest update and noticed it won't intercept the ILS anymore, at least now when I want it to. I can only get it to work when I am almost landing already. I usually fly on GPS, load an approach, activate it, load the ILS freq, and when I am on an intercept course I switch to HDG mode, switch GPS to LOC and enable APP. I see LOC and GS appearing in white but when I reach the intercept point the plane simply flies straight ahead in HDG mode... I then change the heading to intercept the ILS once more and only when I am on the final course and switch modes a few times the AP suddenly gets the LOC and GS. Afaik this is how I usually…

Can someone tell me if the WT G3X has any dependancies on anything else in the Community folder as the AP panel shows up on the MFD but the touch screen button press (AP, HDG select/ ALT, etc) but do not illuminate and the AP is not working.

I finally managed to get a Honeycomb Bravo Throttle but I noticed something with the power levers. The throttle levers have a noticeable bump when you change directions - if I move a lever upwards, then start to move it downwards, it moves smoothly for a few millimeters, then there is a noticeable bump, and then it moves smoothly after. This happens on all the levers except the air brake. I was just wondering if this is normal, if real throttles in aircraft are like this, or is there a problem with mine?

My RTX3070 running at stock has been getting pretty warm since SU3. Several times after seeing artifacts in the clouds I've checked the temps and it's getting close to 90 degrees. Running at stock, I've never had this before. MS and Asobo need to sort this out quickly before something breaks. I also get the performance drops from 50 fps to 15/20 fps in places like many others. The performance drop offs are one thing, but overheating a very modern videocard is a very serious issue. Case fan and fans on the card are all working and no dust has accumulated yet. I could understand it with older or marginal equipment and i'm not even running in 4k

After CTD’s with every flight after the US update I now thought I would try again with the release of the performance update. Accelerating down the runway (Amsterdam - De Luxe version ) I had 3x a 1 sec pause but I was able to take off. Normally within half an hour I would get a CTD but I am still in the air ... Fingers crossed 🤞

I spent a lot of time (hours) to configure my Xtouch mini to work with the Carenado M20R (i love it). I chose the very (VERY) nice Lorby Axis and Ohs programm and could manage to map 80% of the functions (btw. zooming in the garmin 530 with a slider works very well). BUT i couldn't find some of the LVARs even after the reading process from A&O, for functions wich are usefull to me like the chronometer the cockipt lights and the ram air lever, even though i could map the defrost Lever very next to it. Can it be that there is no way for some to be mapped because of the way they where coded ? Thank you for reading.

Hi, I am new to MSFS altought I was an active simmer during FSX and FS2004. I would like to know how to sign in to follow the forum since I will buy a new computer to start using MSFS. My profile (microsoft account ?) says I am connected but it seems I need an XboX account although for using with pc and not with xbox console. And it seems that Xbox account is paid. I am planning to buy the game in a shop and I also don't know how to get all the coming updates. Someone to help me? Thanks.

I just purchased the G Pro yoke/throttle and rudder pedals to use for MSFS. I have no problem with any of the sensitivity settings OTHER than AILERONS and ELEVATOR. I reset both of them to about -50%, and for ELEVATOR the nose DOWN is fine but nose UP does not adjust, for AILERONS I did the same and result was that roll left is fine, roll right did not adjust. The graph curves indicate both up, down, left and right are set as I adjusted. Any one have ideas what's going on????

Would be great if a pay or freeware developer could take this on? The FAA keeps record of all obstacles (USA and limited Canada, Mexico and Caribbean) - I think a program that transfers all of these obstacles into the SIM utilizing realistic models would be awesome! When you create a flight plan in MSFS and you can see the departure airport, and all the waypoints in the plan to the final destination, HOW do you determine the number of miles between each of the waypoints in the plan? Also, I always start my descent too late because I am not aware of the actual distance to my destination airport when in the flight. So, is there a toggle or button I can press to see remaining miles for the whole flight? This is usually happening when using the Garmin 1000 or 3000. I probably just need to keep learning the intricacies of the device, but I'd appreciate a clue on this or a video that shows the answer to these concerns.

I wasn't one to have crashes but when I was just checking out the Galapagos Islands after the update the sim ctd on the way out to the reserve. There's nothing really there to speak of so no idea why it crashed. Would appreciate if anyone else has an issue down there to let me know here. Thanks, LouP

Hi. I just noticed there were some new products released in the MSFS marketplace but weren't announced. I don't know all the products were released as I found the 2 products that I wanted: FSimStudio's CYVR and Sam Scene 3D's Macau scenery in the marketplace. Usually the new products are announced in the weekly progress news update on Thursday. But this time, they weren't announced (maybe because of the work surrounding the performance patch). But there may be more products in the marketplace now. Go check the marketplace. Cheers.

According to the new (still under construction) Next Gen Simulations website, their Embraer EMB-110 Bandeirante may be released for MSFS next month. If you don't know this developer, they've made quite a few airport sceneries and a pretty nice Cessna 525 Citation for FSX and P3D which while it used some default avionics for its Collins PFDs, was notable for having a really great manual and being a pretty nice add-on for its modest price.

I was hoping that the last patch fix the infamous stutters area east of KLAX and south of KSEA,( i know those areas became problematic since a couple months ago) but it’s still the same for me after the patch, stutters and short freeze! I was wondering, is anybody doesn’t have this problem and have smooth performance or this is a generalize issue? P.S. i don’t have issue in others large urban areas, NY, Tokyo, Atlanta, Chicago....

Hi there, I am using the exe.xml so load up several tools automaticly which works like a charme in general. The only program it doesnt open is Rex Sky Force. Anybody got it running so far? Tnx

In the official forums Jayne posted a workaround which could mitigate some performance issues that were not fixed with today's hotfix. It is said that this can resolve some stutters, so if you are still getting lower than expected performance after the hotfix, make sure to try this. The file in question is the "FlightSimulator.exe".

I don't have stuttering so I haven't tried this yet.

On the few flights i've done with the CRJ, I never get a TOD depicted on the PFD. Does that need to be turned on or am I not doing something correctly?

Ok...they screwed up, but... I can’t imagine that it was an easy task for MSFS to track down the issue, fix it, test it (and the number of cycles that took), and get out the latest fix in relatively short period of time. Most likely, their programmers / testers were pulling double duty these past couple of weeks. Much like many of you, I could not play due to the stutterfest, and while this was disappointing given that the issue was introduced in SU3, it was also reassuring to see how committed Asobo is to engagement, feedback, and getting it right. It was frustrating…am I sure that Asobo “felt it" from the community…lesson learned, and hopefully not to…

Hello - I just did a flight from KMKE to KORD in the CRJ. I love the CRJ, and it flies great. The issue I am having is that once I get on final for KORD I have serious stuttering. I have excellent hardware so I know it’s not my PC. Is this related to the fact that O’Hare is notorious for poor performance, or is it something else? I did the same flight about a week ago, and the stutters were even worse. I then turned down the sliders, but perhaps there is something else that would help. Thanks in advance for any help. Hi guys, I am working on my ai and I have downloaded the megapack 12 with many liveries. The trouble is that to have them as an ai I have to change the 0 to a 1 under "is aircraft for ai". There are over 300 liveries that have to be changed and that's a heck of a lot of work. I am not computer savy, so I am wondering if there is an easier way to change everything at once. Possibly a cut and paste for the ai entry or some sort of grouping, I don't really know, so if anyone knows a better way I would be very thankful. Thank you.
