So I was messing around in the TBM today and realized that the rudder trim indicator presented on the MFD doesn't seem to be functional. There doesn't seem to be any command in the control menu for centering your rudder trim (nor aileron trim). Any idea of how I can check all my trim settings on the fly and reset as needed?...Perhaps there's a way of doing this in the developer menu somehow? I'd like to be able to perfectly zero out all my trim settings within a plane after a flight, before I continue to take off again.

If I install FS2020 on a hard drive, will it impact the fps compared to a SSD? I plan to install a lot of scenery addons.

Anyone experienced this crash before? Occured during atlantic crossing in the A32X. Hey, I am looking for a new keyboard and was wondering if I should buy this time one that has no numpad. The reason for that is because it's smaller in size. However, I am wondering if a numpad might be useful for msfs? When I used EZdoc back in the days, it was useful. Is a numpad necessary or could I have the same comfort with different methods?

The past week or so I have noticed that sometimes when I load MSFS and get to the World Map screen there is an applause of loud clapping and also when I touchdown on landing. It is really weird because I have not added any 3rd party utilities or sceneries. Is anyone experiencing this?? I find it quite annoying but not sure where to look to investigate.

Fellow aviators! I'm looking for challenging runways (less than 1000ft) to practice STOL flying techniques for a new video. I would be grateful for your recommendations for your favourite challenging airstrips outside of the U.K (and available in MSFS or as third party software). Lockyers is my bible for finding U.K based strips In my real-world flying. Obviously in MSFS I can fly further afield so I'd appreciate hearing about your top picks for STOL flying in MSFS. Guys you gotta try this: if you disable all the optional windows in the custom overhead panel you get a significant performance improvement, especially in CPU / Main thread limited situations. I tested this in many scenarios in the last hour and it's reproducible. I managed to obtain the following over EDDF with the A320 Neo: * Limited by main thread: from 45.7 to 55.0 fps * Limited by GPU (external view): from 63.6 to 69.4 Screenshots This is clearly a bug because all those icons affect the already overloaded "main thread" even if they do absolutely nothing. Evening folks, May be a silly question but the wx radar display in the TBM using the Working Title 3000 v5 appears to be quite small compared to the default which fills the MFD screen. It works great and zero problems...just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something in the installation or setup. Also have G3000 roaddata installed if that matters. Otherwise default TBM, no other mods. Thanks! Brian

I downloaded the update today from the Marketplace. It says I am up to date, but when I did a flight, I saw no changes. Is there something I can look for to tell me that I am actually updated?

Is this a monitor thing or a MSFS thing? I've just got a "regular "Asus 23" 1080P monitor. Usually when I'm above a high layer the white on my aircraft is unbearably white. Today I swapped my old Garmin with new Avidyne! This is my old GNS430W: And here is Avidyne IFD440 Now does SDK allowed 3rd party developers to add variety of RW nav/performance equipment like TKM, Avidyne and so on! For now we just stuck with Garmin , but it's not the only thing in the world! By the way coolest thing of IFD440 it just slides in and matches back end of gns430 socket to socket, pin to pin - no avionic guy required! Pure preventive maintenance 😎 P.S. I had MSFS 1.14.5 running this morning. I closed it to make a change to a livery in the Community folder and it no longer starts. It gets to the screen showing the 300 Extra (2 Landing Challenges) and the Bonanza (1 Iconic Flight) and stops with the progress bar at about 80%. The Event Viewer (Windows Logs > Security) shows a number of audit failures indicating a firewall issue ("Windows Firewall was unable to notify the user that it blocked an application from accepting incoming connections on the network.") The process indicated is LSASS.exe. If I disable the private network firewall, the audit failures don't occur, but MSFS still doesn't start. …
