tried to download the SDK and received the message: MSFS_SDK__Installer_....msi was blocked because it could harm your device How can I get past this?

Can you fly this thing with just an Xbox controller? I also have a logitech extreme 3d pro. Was wondering if it would be possible to use either one of these devices to fly this helicopter.

Sometimes they just get in the way. They should get on the way too many trucks and buses that cross in front of you at rotation!

Here is what I don't understand about the current state of performance within the sim. After the latest sim update, the performance in my home region of Huntington, West Virginia, improved noticeable. I was delighted and posted a message here in the forum about improved FPS. FPS increased by about five (to about 35 FPS), stutters were practically eliminated, and the sim performed more smoothly than it ever had. When, however, I attempted later to fly out of Hartsfield International in Atlanta, I'm very lucky to get 10 FPS. Firstly, at what distance of separation do player’s name tags become visible? I can be flying, and see 40+ players populating the skies around me. Many at a similar altitude. However, I have not had a single one of these grow into an actual plane. I only fly the PA28, so the prospect of me catching anybody up is slim. But I would expect the odd plane to be going in the opposite direction occasionally. Do planes only get rendered when they are almost on top of you? To date, I have only seen about 4 actual planes other than mine, and they have all been on the deck. Today three updates appeared in the Content manager : Bush trip Alaska, KDFW and KSWF. Should I push the button 😂 ? Will the sim erase itself this time ?

Is anyone here using FlyLive Studio overlay in MSFS 2020? Reason I ask is because I can’t get it to show in MSFS. Everything is set up correctly in OBS but when I switch over to MSFS my overlay is not there. I’ve watched all the You Tube video’s and read all the instructions and as far as I can tell everything is set up correctly but I don’t have any overlay. Any help would be appreciated. . Thanks

I can get it off the ground. After that the Autopilot is deadly and there is zero elevator control.

Anyone know if a utility exists yet for msfs2020 which can line you up some miles out on final approach at your chosen airfield?

A shot in the dark here, but are there any tools (whether ATC add-ons or otherwise) for MSFS that display where rendered AI is flying in your area? I've used various tools for other sims where I could look at the map and see, "oh, there's a plane heading my way" and then I would visually try to spot it when it appeared to be close.

I am hoping that someone might be able to assist here as I've tried just about everything I can find on google without any success in fully installing MSFS2020. In September of last year, I tried out Game Pass and downloaded/installed MSFS 2020 onto my PC without issues. Trackir is performing as it normally does,10 years of use. But I seem to have lost the mouse look action and with it the ability to make custom views. The question is. Is any one able to get both Trackir and mouse look working simultaneously? Thanks for looking

I see many freeware airports for MSFS 2020. I have my sim running very stable now and frankly I am hesitant on putting any airports in the community folder and winding up with problems. I am wondering what the experiences are of having airports in the community folder and if it has caused any problems for people that did this.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'm flying the TBM-930 from KSEZ to KBKL for my first night flight (yes, fully loaded with fuel, JUUUUST shy of the max takeoff weight!). Not long after climbing to my designated altitude of FL300, the engine suddenly starts revving way down and then I get the oil pressure alert on the CAS...then the pressure drops and so does the oil temp. Prop's still spinning, but no thrust. What am I doing wrong? I'm careful not to redline the torque, even when taking off (and that runway was JUST long enough with a full tank!). Hello all Just loaded the new standalone FBW Neo and (obviously I guess) all of my custom cockpit views that I setup for the default Neo are absent. Just wondering if anyone knows if these can be copied over from the default Neo and if so, where they're located ? Thanks.

Have not flown Fs2020 for a month. Today I wanted to try the updated Prosim flightmodel. Normally I changed Fixed Look to Free look and with the mouse I put the runway in front of my left screen. With a double click of the mouse the view normally changed back to Fixed look and the view was good. Now, when I want to change back to Fixed Look it does not work and the mouse stays attached to the view. In this way I cannot go to other menus as there is no cursor anymore. All suggestions are welcome.

I use the experimental version of the fantastic FBW A320 (I use the installer provided by FBW to update) and since the latest stand alone version I have no aircraft sounds: engine, APU, button clicks... I do have the A32NX installed in the community folder (my MSFS installation is outside disc C). Can someone please point me out a way to check why sounds are missing in all FBW liveries? Thanks

On an ILS approach, has anyone been able to identify any of the marker beacons, as they fly down the localizer? I believe I heard the OM at KLAX, runway 06L once or twice (- -). Or, maybe it was wishful thinking... And, have you flown any planes whose PFDs showed the marker lights flash, as you passed over them? MSFS says, "Ctrl-3" toggles the markers on and off, but I haven't been able to get it to work for me. Has anyone else? And, is there another way to get them to be seen and heard? I read elsewhere that markers were de-activated at many US airports in 2015, but I'm hoping it isn't true. -- If you've received marker's aural signal (- -)…

After many iterations it is nice to arrive at an FS that I like. The techno factor is bigger than usual but we techo=weenies luv this stuff. So this rev of FS makes me happy and I could give a rats butte about all the instrument twisters although I'm one of them. Cheers bs

They did a version of the tree fix that worked really well, and I have never read any nonsense over there - it seems fairly well grounded in fact / logic. Hi where are the aircrafts installed? With steam I only have some cfg files in: C:\Users\Michael\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimObjects but wonder where my sdk example plane went. Same for default planes, only some cfg files. Thanks

Hi all, as in title, a friend of mine was wondering if a desktop pc with CPU i7 2600K, RAM 8GB and GPU Nvidia RTX 580 3GB would be enough to use FS2020 with minimum settings. Is there anyone who has experienced FS2020 with such low hardware? Thanks!
