Is it possible to swap out the Sound File in an MSFS aircraft & replace it with the SF from a P3D aircraft? T45

Should MSFS be game of the year? I think so not for what it has done but what it is attempting to do. Yea a risk but I'm happy with the result. Say a prayer for those who can't build a gaming rig due to parts availability. 🥴 cheers bs

All of a sudden when I hold the right mouse button down in cockpit camera when I move it it jumps back to pilot view. It works fine in external camera, I have tried everything I can think of to look around the cockpit. I hope someone has some advice on what I can do to fix this. Thank You Very Much, Ralph

Just recently purchased and installed MSFS 2020. The load said XBOX/Windows 10. The file structure where it was loaded is entirely different form the FlightSim directories I was used to on FSX. Everything is working fine, added scenery and planes from the Marketplace. I would like to change the AI liveries from the megapack. I realized the instructions seem to be tailored toward a traditional directory load. Are there 2 versions that can be downloaded XBOX and Windows (AND I MADE A MISTAKE) OR are all the new purchases coming in the XBOX/Windows format. I believe there are more people when reading forum asking where the MSFS 2020 directory is located. Any help …

This is getting to be a common theme when approaching a larger city. Their hotfix helped a little but I'm noticing a massive difference between sim in active pause vs in motion. I losing a 1/3 of my fps on average. I've never suffered much of the stuttering. After the fix something new I hadn't before though : isolated small pauses of 2/3 seconds, once or twice in an average session of 60/90 minutes I could come my 4G ISP of course but it came after the fix. Anybody else ?

Is there a key biniding (either keyboard or controller) that would allow you to turn on/off POI markers as needed? Thanks

I haven't played the Sim since Dec. Recently I upgraded my CPU (9700K>5800x) and my motherboard, as well as increased RAM (32GB>64GB). I run on a 4K main display with two small 1080p monitors for avionics and ATC. I'm starting with a new install of Windows and the Sim (re-installed from scratch yesterday with the hot fix version). I briefly tried the latest Nvidia drivers but started getting CTDs during brief testing and rolled back to 457.51 drivers from December which seem stable. Hi Friends. I downloaded my version from the MS Store without a hitch but a friend has a brand new pc and has bought the boxed disc version. Disc 1 installs somewhere but disc 2 refuses to run and gives a message saying 'Cannot find path'. We have tried various ways and watched a few YT videos but still cannot get Disc 2 to run. Has anyone else installed from the disc set and /or has anyone any idea what we can try. Neither of us are very techy and we simply thought that it would be straightforward to install the discs. Ever since the recent FBWA320 update, I lost all my custom camera settings. Does anyone know how I can get them back without having to reconfigure everything from scratch? The FBW mod used to be in a folder named A320NX or something, and now it's changed. I'm assuming this is causing it not to detect my old camera settings.

January 24, 2021 Stopped by SimMarket and saw that the already confusing Seasons Packs from Bijan Studios is now even more confusing. There are now 4 additional Multi-Packs that offer Spring-Fall, Fall-Spring, Summer-Winter or Winter-Summer combos. Naming convention is Northern Hemisphere-Southern Hemisphere in case you're wondering. Good news is they're free upgrades if you bought the 4 Season Pack. I'm a bit at a loss on the possible use of Navigraph Database as a substitute of the default MSFS navdata. The main reason behind my interest is to make sure of having a single and common updatable database for MSFS, SimBrief, Little NavMap and FS Tramp which I also use occasionally. Anyone has tested compatibility of Navigraph with MSFS and if you could replace the default MSFS navdata with Navigraph?. As far as I know, there was a beta period of testing that I don't exactly know if it was concluded or the thing is still in testing. Thanks!

Hello Hi! very recently FBW Team have launched their standalone A32NX airplanes in many liveries on the flightsim.to site.They look quite nice in screenshots but I downloaded a couple of them but could not make them work. After putting the files in the community folder - no aircraft appears in the sim. If anybody knows or have any idea about installing these particular files to make them work then please kindly share your success with us. Thanks

While the CJ4 mod is a great plane to fly, I miss the front cone that some aircrafts show during landing mode cockpit view. Does it have it, and if so, how does one sees it. Normally, one gets the cone view by simply increasing the pilot's height with the camera.

I'm curious if anyone knows how MSFS2020 has gotten around the huge problem of clouds on the ortho images? I tried to google but found squat. I make lots of ortho sceneries for XP11 and it's a constant battle trying to find cool places in the world that are cloud-free. Anyone know how they do it?

Just updated the the plane using the supplied updater, but it is causing the sim to CTD just before it finish's loading, tried twice same thing happened, uninstalled aircraft sim runs okay. I will try and re install plane and see what happens.🤥 Re installed the plane sim loads okay, will try the updater now see what happens.😐 Tried the updater, it is telling me the plane is up to date. So if you have problems try uninstalling then re installing it should give you the latest edition and work okay. 😀 Edited just now by Scimiter

Hi all, posted this on the MSFS forum but no replies yet, hopefully will get luck here: This is a new one for me - tried searching but cannot seem to find a similar problem. When I try to get MSFS to create a simple flight plan from the world map, it keeps telling me low/high nav aids are not available so it just gives direct routes. If I use simbrief, all waypoints are “unknown” (in FBW A320 or Working Title CJ4, for example). I have tried updating my database with navigraph subscription and then removing it - both have the same results. Additionally, all airports now show up only as non-controlled airports as in "Tune to KJFK Traffic: - no controller…

Hi, I have been flying into LTFJ with the A320NX (new seperate Version). My fps drop to 7-10. Do anyone of you guys have the same issue since installed the A320NX? I don't think this is related to the msfs, because before everything worked fine. I am using the experimental version. EDIT: I have just updated the A320, approach LTFJ (freeware scenery) seem to work fine 30-35 fps.
