not sure this has anything to do with the latest up date, but before the up date the P28 worked just fine, Now when the flaps are applied the plane just nose dives and spins out of control. no other plane reacts like this any thougts...

Just downloaded the latest update, which adds a number of new features including digital panels. Not bad, not bad at all. 3 updates since its release and an very nice "get in a fly a short flight " aircraft. On this last update, the engine sounds went from normal to very low volume. If anyone has a fix for this, let me know.

Sorry for a dumb question, but I can’t see how one can display the current frame rate (I think it was CTRL + Z in FSX).

this works on my setup, 9700K 32GB 2080Ti Sim Update 3 gave me terrible stutters, i noticed on HWiNFO that was using 97% of physical RAM, FIX: reset the W10 Virtual memory from Auto (allocating 10GB Virtual memory) to Manual:- (using C 512GB M.2 drive with 120+GB of spare space - BE CAREFUL!!!) * minimum 20GB (20000) * maximum 64GB (64000) RESULT: stuttering & throttling of page file swaps eliminated > smoooth flights in hyper dense areas... YMMV

Hi, Is any way after selecting an aircraft and adjusting under flight model rudder authority adjustment from default 0.00 to a new value let's say -1.00 to have it saved? The problem I have is that when I re-start the sim instead of keeping the setting I adjusted to it does return to 0.00 and have to go again through the same process. I wonder why is that if I go under control settings and change to a new value is carried over without any resetting to default. https://www.dropbox.com/s/bfg88q0wvx4438q/SETTINGS.JPG?dl=0 Thank you.

I see a freeware ATR72-600 that uses another default aircraft internals. Is it any good? I am enjoying the A330 Freeware. I am flying this more than the 737. I'd like some feedback please. Thx Manny

Flying the 152. When I am paused, the DG still moves at a speed and direction appropriate for the bank I'm paused in. Is this a known bug?

So pleased that the latest update has added VOR indicators to the PFD of the 747. I was disappointed that these weren't visible when the program first came out.

I don't know what to say any more. Yes, I'm very patient, but some things start to transform into a joke. 🙈 🤷♂️

Hi guys, Having been using the sim since the SU3 without any issues. Did a flight yesterday without any issues. No CTDs. Started it up this morning and after it checked for updates I get this: Now I haven't clicked on update as I want to make absolutely sure that I don't delete the data already installed. Also FYI it is an MS Store installation, not steam I have checked the Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder and it is sized at 124Gb so I assume all the stuff is still there. Has anyone experienced this or have a fix for this? I would really want to avoid a redownload as I have my connection cost me per Gb downloa…

After the last update (three weeks or so ago?) my PC rebooted whenever I tried to fly in MSFS. Sometimes the PC rebooted during loading a flight, sometimes after 10 seconds in the cockpit and I managed 2 or 3 times to actually fly for 10 minutes or so but... it always ended with a sudden and un-announced complete reboot of my PC. So... I spend two weekends (ask my wife) trying to figure out what was wrong with my PC. Checked the hardware in all possible ways, opened the case, re-attached the power cables, checked the GPU, RAM, etc. Used benchmark software, utilities, to check my setup (all seemed fine) etc. I even went as far to do a PSID revert on both my Crucial SS…

What is the best way to stay current on mods. Scouring github or flighsim.to is getting rather tedious after every MSFS update. The FlybyWire update method is the only exception. Is there a way to auto update mods as they are released, or am I asking for too much?

Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this. Sometimes when I disengage the parking brake, the throttles spike to 100%. It doesn't happen often, maybe once every few sessions. The parking brake is mapped to a button on my HOTAS. The only input on the HOTAS that is assigned to any throttle command is the throttle slider itself. The throttle-to-100% command is not assgined. I'm not yet running FSUIPC so it isn't there either. This happens on any plane, default or otherwise. Anyone know how to stop this? Getting a little old suddenly running into terminals. 😉 Oh, BTW, the parking brake button is on the stick side, not the throttle itself, so I'm not even to…

While specifics are still being ironed out, I wanted to start a suggestion thread so that WT has more info on what the community would like to see in the future… My input… I have always like XPs Garmin system approach with some depth that 3PD Devs could leverage / tap into. I like their “interactive” 2D popup (without a windows top border) that I could both resize and position (saved by plane) for easier reading / adjusting etc. 3D cockpits are nice, but having 2D popup helps me see the PFD / MFD easier and still keep an eye on what’s going on outside without having to change views. I also liked the fact that I could bind keys to those hard to…

After watching many twitch streams with the developers, it seems like the issue of runway lighting is just not on the map for Asobo. It really only looks like they care about something with more than 200 votes. As I was flying today, I noticed the outlines of the runways from 20 miles away in sunny skies and forgot what an immersion killer it is. To me, it is ridiculous that after 7 months in this still is not on Asobo's radar. They have to know this is not realistic. Another related topic is pilot controlled lighting which is yet to be implemented. Does anyone know if Asobo have talked about this and I have just missed it? https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/r…

Hi guys! Is there a way to determine what is the safe altitude to fly between two points? Look at this image: I know that in this quadrant of the map, to be completely safe of crashing and killing everyone onboard i will need to fly at least at 11,100 feet. But, if my route is that green line then that's overkill since i wont be traveling over that mountain on the southwest of the quadrant! so, how do i know what is a safe altitude to traverse that green path without climbing to 11,100?

Now, that we know that WT has contracted with MS/Asobo, is there any chance that the "WT G3000 Free Mod" gets fixed? I would really like to have the pre-SimUpdate3 version of WT G3000 running until WT G3000 improvements arrive with the regular MSFS updates.
