Hi all! Some of you may remember I did a preview video of this airport when it was in early access, a few months back. Well, I'm pleased to report Version 1 is now out. And I'm even more pleased to report that this means you get to watch another of my review videos! 😉

One of the things I've always wanted to do is shoot the IFR or visual approaches to some of the "most dangerous"/difficult airports in the world. I did some of them years ago, but the landscapes/terrain have rarely been a match to the real word, entire airports/runways have been missing, and it is not uncommon to have missing navaids/waypoints. Now with MSFS 2020, I thought I'd try them again, what with the plethora of airports and fairly accurate terrain in even the less-traveled areas of the world. Been a few days since I have flown. I updated the aircraft A32NX as usual. All is good...but the scenery has all changed. San Fran for example..Blocky looking buildings and smoothed out areas with no definition (like the old xplane scenery). San Fran is just a blurry undefined look. Looks very fake. Has there been a change? Its like a LOW END scenery no tree definition nothing. Help

Just wanted to share a medley of songs I did with all my friends in mind here at AVSIM.

I got to thinking today about how much good scenery, both freeware and payware, is already out there for major international airports in MSFS. I figured it would be years (and hundreds or even thousands of dollars) before I'd be able to fill out MSFS the way my FSX/P3D were filled out with at-least-passable-quality airports around the world. But actually, I made a list of the "must-have" major airports that don't have any at-least solid scenery available, and it's only 24 airports long. Installation of file fs-base-0.1.61.fspackage.001 keeps restarting the download goes to 1.39 GB than it says "writing fs-base-0.1.61.fspackage.001 on disk and then it resets to 808 MB. This have been going on now for more than 10 times in a row. Does anyone know what this problem is and how to solve it?

Hello guys, it's been a while since I've posted anything. I'm currently on the hunt for a new (PC) and would like to hear people's opinion's as to what would be a good build to run FS2020 on Medium to High settings smoothly. I did not see this posted so I thought I would mention it. This website and the free client allows for some wonderful sightseeing with audio. I stumbled upon it and preceded about flying about two hours in Nebraska exploring various landmarks. Combine this with your favorite flight plan program and you have instant sightseeing flights with audio commentary. I did have a small glitch, the client inside of the sim, I needed to make full screen in order to log in but after that it resides in the top options bar in flight. https://bushtalkradio.com/ Mike

I updated this afternoon to the latest dev mod with the custom FBW and started getting the turning off course when engaging the AP. The FD went all the way left and the plane started a steep right bank. I disengaged the AP and reengaged it and tried to go direct to the next fix on the route but that didn't fix it. Anyone else seeing this? Also, should the EFB pushback be working? Every time i have tried nothing happens.

Hello, I have been flying the TBM for the last days and i observed that there seems to some some kind of speedlimit to it during cruise. While leveling off at lets say FL300 she starts to accelerate to cruise speed but regardless of what i do, i can't get here above 197kts IAS. Even initiating a descent at full throttle she does not get past that speed. Ok, i thought i'll try and give her some extra power by editing the engine.cfg.This led me to the exact same result. She won't go faster than 197 even though the extra thrust would have easily allowed higher speeds. This seems very odd or am i missing something here? Anyone else has had this issue …

I found a small anomaly south of CYYZ just south of Mississauga Canada associated with the Credit River. I do not know to report it? And this forum has gotten so BIG that if I tried to read thru it I would be dead before I was able to finish! LOL 😄

Started the flight, 15 minutes later AMD driver time out. Restarted flight. 37 miles from destination on a 130 mile flight, and CTD..... Nuts. Flying this sim is like playing a lottery.

Even after the latest Asobo patch it seems to me that when I set flaps to 1 during my descend, the responsivity of this action is way too high. The plane (A32NX CFBW) starts to climb at +/- 2000 ft/min. What can be done here? Should I half the lift_coef_flaps in flightmodel.cfg to 1.2 (it now is 2.4) or even lower to, say, 0.6? Thanks, Hans

This is a simple toolbar option to let you view approach plates (any PDF actually), JPG images and TXT files of notes you have made. You can resize the window, zoom in/out, step through pages of a PDF or click to the next document in your flight bag. This v2 updates v1 by fixing the problem of filenames with spaces and (hopefully) there are no more conflicts with other custom toolbar options. I'l upload to flightsim.to when I get a chance. So the Carenado Piper just "dropped" but I already own the Mooney. I adore the Mooney, and am generally interested in low wing planes of the type, but are the close enough where my money would be better spent on say, the Bird Dog? I almost bought the bird dog before, I like the plane, but the price tag was slightly higher than I can justify blowing. I can drop $20 on something without too much though because I'm clearly rolling in it, but $29 made me shy away. Where would you spend the money for an add-on aircraft for MSFS?

Hi there, I'd be happy if someone could help me or at least answer my questions: 1. So I set up some custom views (apparently the zoom level is not saved, but okay) for different parts of the cockpit. Coming from chaseplane, this initially worked quite ok. I mapped those views to "shift+numberkey", which also works as expected. But I have the problem that there is one (i guess) default view always ruining it. I mapped my "standard" view to shift+1. When I hit shift+1 it will go to that view. But if I hit it again, it will go to a different, default kind of view first. Sometimes it's even looking into another direction. This is pretty annoying.
