Very new to MSFS and I'm loving the graphics. It's been great for some VFR jaunts around the UK. I just wanted to check that this looks right: To me, it seems a little bright outside bordering on wash out, whilst the cockpit seems quite dark. I'm only basing this off other peoples photos and videos. (I've switched seasons, countries and times of day, and it's all very similar). I don't have a HDR monitor, but have managed to turn HDR off. I've also switched off Bloom. Other than that, it's on factory settings. Many thanks, Mike

I have downloaded a cockpit mod/textures for the A32nx, and place them where the instructions says but doesnt appear. Ive also tried the cups and nothing is there another file I nead to download for it to work?? thanks appreciated for any suggestion or help

Maybe this is my old tired eyes I dunno. However I like to fly without airport markers because it ruins the view. When flying VFR I really struggle to see the field even on clear skies, if the area is more familiar I kind of "know where to look" but in unfamiliar territory I sometimes can only spot the field from say 3NM out. First problem is the zoom function in the sim doesn't zoom in enough, in XPlane you could zoom in quite a distance to help spot the field. I've also noticed none of fields have a beacon? I'm sure they all did on launch day, this really helps. At night its less of a problem because you can spot the runway lights. So does anyone else struggl…

Hi Just returned to Gatwick (using the addon version Gatwick Standard version by MKVY) and noticed that a building has sprouted on the Juliet/November taxiway I believe Manchester has the same issue, Only just noticed this since the Flap update anyone else have this issue? I should imagine it could be connected to the photogrammetry update for Southampton. Regards N.J

When I used to fly in P3D, whenever I pressed Pause button for TrackIR, the view reset itself to 0 position (level and straight). Now in MSFS when I press the TrackIR Pause button the view just pauses wherever it is and stays there. So if I lean forward, because the Pause button is F9 on the keyboard the view gets totally messed up, it's very unpractical. This is happening on completely new machine with fresh install of Windows and MSFS, Do you experience the same or does your view snap back to 0 when you pause TrackIR?

I see everyone else is rejoicing in how great the game now runs but for me it is worse. When near the ground, the game is like 9FPS 1440p no settings changed, CPU load is only 50%. Then suddenly the load jumps and it runs smooth. I used to have to use process lasso back in the day before the Japan update, which made it unnecessary, but now I may have to try it again. Hello, colleagues! My specs were as follows: Asus TUF gaming B460-Pro mother board, i5-10400F , RTX 3070. Played around with the different settings and finally got the smoothness I was satisfied with. The sim settings all ultra (all the 3 sliders set to 200). In light airports on A320NX was getting very smooth head movement (using TrackIR). But in custom airports the smoothness was a bit worse, especially in heavy airports, but still playable. I knew that my weak place in the specs was mother board. I decided to upgrade it. The idea was also to upgrade the proc when 11 gen is out. Finally got ASUS Prime Z590-P mother board. 2080ti, i9-9900K, 32GB Ram I see people complaining about FPS but I don't see how unless they are on a lower end system...and what did you expect? MS put out the minimum, recommended and ideal specs before launch. I only fly VR now so have had to lower the settings a bit to medium...but medium in VR kicks word not allowed on ultra high settings with a monitor anyday so I don't care. 🙂

AI traffic seemed improved a couple of updates ago, but now every AI plane that I see landing disappears a few seconds after touching down. They also frequently circle around erratically in the air near the airport before picking a runway. I hope a third party will eventually be able to provide realistic traffic, since even Asobo hasn't been able to figure it out.

I just read in the MSFS forum under the title "Open up the weather system to 3rd party devs" that HiFi is finally working on their weather add on for MSFS. This is great news!

After TBM 930 V5.10, update how do you remove the pilot & co pilot Avitars & those hugh sunglasses. I have tried all sorts of binding selections with no success. I am in PC mode and do not have VR.

I've been tinkering with the flight_model.cfg file for the Bonanza and have successfully reduced flaps drag for a more realistic flying experience (as advised by a real pilot). However, I'm a novice at making changes to the flight dynamics and one thing I'd like to change now is climb rate. I'm able to climb at 1500-1600 FPM at sea level at 105 KIAS (3100 LBS, flaps up, gear up, 28 manifold pressure, 25 degrees Celsius OAT). According to the performance chart, my rate of climb should be closer to 1200 FPM in this scenario. I'm having a hard time determining what to adjust to fix the climb rate without changing the cruise performance. Hopefully someone here can help.

Hi All, After loading up FS2020, they don't seem to have any control settings for the CH Pro Pedals. Does anyone have any information on what axis to assign to what rudder function? The options are: Joystick L-Axis X Joystick L-Axis X- Joystick L-Axis X+ Joystick L-Axis Y Joystick L-Axis Y- Joystick L-Axis Y+ Joystick L-Axis Z Joystick L-Axis Z- Joystick L-Axis Z+ Thanks for any input, if I figure it out I'll post it here.
