  1. I usually dont crash. This last week I notice more crashes. They happen usually when I click fly, and there is about 10-15% left of the loading. One of my friends from Canada also notices the same thing. Right now we were loading in, and we had the crash at the exact same time.

  2. A question about how to install Pollypot's GIT for use with MSFS and Goflight modules. The GIT Installation instructions call for copying and inserting Goflight and some Pollypot code in the flight sim's software. All sims except MSFS are listed with specific instructions for this process. How do I perform this task (item 3e/f) for MSFS? Mine is a purchased version of GIT, but has not yet been downloaded. I also have P3D v4,5 installed if that matters. Unfortunately, I'm not particularly computer savvy, so a detailed set of instructions would be appreciated. I have never used GIT in the past. I have also posted this question on the Pollypot site forum, but as …

  5. New member here. Don't know if this is the correct forum but I am new to MSFS 2020 using the Honeycomb Yoke and Throttle Quadrant and Thrustmaster TPR pedals. My research before buying suggested that these flight control devices are the "best on the market" and provide the "most realism". In my experience the default setting just are not realistic and very twitchy. I am a RL Cessna 172 pilot and what I am experiencing is no way close to actual flight control inputs. LOL, I am all over the runway and sky. I suspect this is me and MSFS 2020. Does anyone have any recommendations on the sensitivity and realistic settings?

  6. Hi, I recently bought the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, but I am struggling with the mapping of the autopilot bugs and buttons. Specifically, how do I map button 13 and 14 (the bug to the right of IAS button) to work for all functions (ALT, VS, HDG, CRS, IAS)? I can only find the 'increase' and 'decrease' functions for heading and IAS, but if I map button 13 and 14 for either of these, its locked to that function (for instance HDG). There should be a general increase/decrease function but I cant find it. The 'miscellaneous' function to increase/decrease does not work, that is, if I map button 13 and 14 to that.

  7. Just wanted to share this tutorial. Coming from a home build with gauge instruments (currently in closet collecting dust because I only fly VR now) I rarely flew glass cockpits. This tutorial helped a lot.

I have a 4K monitor, and I was running MSFS with my monitor at its native resolution (3840 X 2160) at 30 Hz and scaling the resolution to 70 (2688 X 1512) in MSFS. I have Vsync on, frames locked at 60 fps, running in fullscreen in MSFS. This looked pretty good and maintained a solid 30 fps for the most part. Then I started reading about others saying that setting a custom resolution with the Nvidia Control Panel and then running that resolution at 100 render scaling in MSFS was less blurry and the instruments on the panel were a little easier to read. Others said this is the way to go because the NCP does a better job of scaling than Windows or MSFS does. So I se…

When in Drone Mode, is there any way to bind "Reset Position" to a controller like the PS4 or even a Yoke Button? Maybe a key stroke? Thanks, SR

Was landing at CYXS, which BTW has a nice 5 meters tall bump mid-runway, but nobody noticed, maybe it's like this IRL (please confirm.) But there was a plane waiting short of the runway I was landing at, and ATC told them to wait for ME on final. This never happened before, ATC always ignored me and caused accidents, is this part of an update?

While downloading the recent update. I tried firing up FSX to pass some time. It looks so old an dated now. Despite the issues with MSFS (the spikes in my area have now disappeared) it's so much better.

So yeah i saw a BestBuy on my left side in my approach to KWHP. Thats some really good realism.. On the other hand how do you plan your app altitudes in the Citation, it doesnt give you VNAV or fixes distances.. You only have distance to the next fix but not to a special fix.. In airports with no VOR like KWHP you cant also tune a VOR-DME.. I have to decent at 3,500Ft/min and use the air brake.. From above the sim is amazing but we really really need a well simulated aircraft.. BTW i fly in a Omen Laptop with an RTX 2070 most of the time after landing taxing to the ramp my PC shutsdown doesnt even goes to a CTD.. Im assuming it gets super hot and the CPU protects…

Just did a flight on the Caravan in mild icing conditions, and it still picked up quite a bit of ice, despite the using Max Flow Airframe. Can anyone confirm the TKS deice is actually modeled? Another thing, there's no TKS Fluid QTY indicator on the G1000 model, so I suspect it may not be modeled. Good to see that performance and airspeed is dropping as expected once the ice builds up. Adds to the immersion and realism and forced me to chase a more suitable altitude.

Hi Just noticed on the Aerosoft CRJ thread. For those intending to purchase the Aerosoft CRJ please be aware on the initial installation there will be a period of in activity (ie it looks as if the program has crashed) for between 7-10 mins ONLY when you first install the the aircraft. They just want to get it out there on the forums so folk are aware, as they are concerned it could look like there's an issue, and could cause unneccessary frustration and support calls. As with anything slower machines will take nearer the 10mins... From the forum See, when you load the 550 and the 700 for the first time in the simulator there is a translation don…

Hi, I am facing some issues with the a320 default and a320 mod. In both versions I am not able to turn off the ANN LT (Lighting test switch). With all the switches illuminated I can not really follow the procederes. Has anyone an idea what I could try? I already tried to reinstall the mod, but nothing changed. I used manual installation and also the provided installer.

I have a request from any MSFS pilot who gets a few spare minutes to check the following scenery out for me. Elizabethville, Pennsylvania. There is a small grass strip with a few hanger buildings at the west edge of Elizabetville, PA. My hometown. It is located adjacent to US Route 209 on the north side of Berry Mountain. I would consider it a great favor if an MSFS pilot could buzz over and tell me if it's there or not. Strangely, this grass strip was present in FS8 and FS9 but not in FSX. Thanks in advance to anyone who does this. Gary

Shooting some ILS approaches in Brazil yesterday - at about 500' AGL I cued the AP off switch on my TWCS (which I've had assigned for months). No response. I keep hitting the button, but the AP refuses to disconnect and I fight it all the way to touch-down. Next flight - same thing. I finally recalled the default keyboard assignment and hit it, though I was about 10' AGL at the time and it made for a rough touch-down. Before flying today I checked the control assignments in the Options menu - sure enough, the Autopilot Off assignment to the TWCS was now blank, Anyone else have controller assignments erased? I'm a little concerned now as to what else may have be…

  22. Hi, Since the last update I have been quite happy. Among other things, I thought that the spikes, pyramids and hills had disappeared. But, oh surprise! Yesterday I made the EGET Tingwall flight to Out Skerries in Scotland and what was there? Holes, spikes and pyramids everywhere! And today, on the flight from EGLD Denham to EGKK Gatwick the same thing again: pyramids, and plateaus appearing and disappearing like mushrooms all around. Please tell me that this is only happening to me or if the word not allowed peaks and mountains are back for everyone!
