Are any of you with the Honeycomb Bravo throttle having issues with MSFS? I'm trying to set up a single engine complex profile, and the throttles/prop/mixture aren't behaving themselves. Here is a video for reference...my throttle axis, for example, isn't displaying the progress meter like his is in the video (he starts setting up the complex single at 1:40 mark): https://youtu.be/iAVicVzF0Po

This worked for me: 1. Did you turn on 2-Factor Authentication in your Microsoft Account? 2. If so, then go to your Windows Notifications and check to see if your account is connected. 3. If it indicates that there is a problem, then click on the message and authorize your computer. (Note: I can't remember the exact message since I was so elated to find the issue, but this should be enough of a lead for you to fix it if this is your problem)

So apparently a lot of people suggested a Scenery Gateway System ( similar to XP-11 pretty sure ) for the community to help with making airports and such, a part of going through an approval process I guess to make lesser know airports and base scenery better in MSFS. Jorg said he asked for feedback in the last Live Stream, and as I understand it received feedback from only a few people, and they are requesting the Community get involved more? So I guess whomever is interested in this, I would be in the future, but have no clue how to make scenery, etc.. at this point. Isn't this something that the MSFS community wants them to develop and bring to MSFS? I do , but ha…

This time we have flashing scenery and visual artifacts in specific areas. Try for example to take off from Florence, Italy, and head north: you will see pieces of scenery come and go, and stutters like there's no tomorrow. Then after a few minutes, absolute smoothness. Turn around and head back toward Florence: all smooth. Then as you are close to the airport, stutters and flashes everywhere. Except when you reach Florence, with all its photoreal scenery, everything is smooth again (?) Rome is ok visually speaking, but there are stutters that were not there last week. Also, the aircraft (a Cessna 172) seems less stable on its longitudinal axis, with a tendency …

I don't know if this has already been addressed, but the A36 turbo mod doesn't work for me since the update. The external view is ok, but the internal view is just a skeleton of the plane. Anyone have any info on this?

I don't want to imagine what we would do without all those highly talented modders. THANK YOU! Your work is so much appreciated. But there are two sides of the same coin. We have mods which improve the things, which is the really good part. But we also need mods for repairing issues which were either broken from the beginning or came later with an update. The latter should become redundant, the sooner the better.

For some reason after the update the cessna citation longitude will not load with the Asobo Cessna Citation Model 700 Longitude Performance and Flight Dynamics Modifications Project Version 1.80 mod. I removed the Community folder before the update, did the update, tested the sim, everything was fine although I did not attempt to fly the Longitude. Deleted the community folder, reinstalled my community folder with all of the mods, but this is the only aircraft that is not showing up in the aircraft liveries. I deleted the folder with the mod, reinstalled the original Longitude folder, started FS2020 and it did an update on the Longitude. So I reinstalled the latest 1.…

Hi, Since the microsoft update, yesterday, 09/03/21, I am having trouble with loading my MCDU with my simbrief plans. With external power and batteries connected in the a320 all my gauges/panels are staiyng blank. I have tried loading from the world page and starting at the runways but they still stay blank. The aircraft will take of ok but its a bit disconcerting not being able to see the height or speeds. Talking to ATC is ok and the apu lights up ok with avail. showing but no engine start. Anyone else had this problem before I Zen it? Thanks Steve

I did the Sim Update III with no problem. Once I loaded the title for the first time after the update and went to Content to do the 30 updates that followed Sim Update III, I ran into all sorts of problems. The update would hang up, I had to force-quit and restart the title, then it would hang-up again... it took me about 5 tries to finally clear all 30 updates. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have a dilemma, and I'm looking for some advice... Just recently, a developer released a payware version of an airport (for MSFS) that I had modeled several years ago as freeware (and uploaded to Avsim). While I don't yet have MSFS, I still looked at the screenshots that were posted as it is an airport I am very familiar with, and I was curious to see what it looked like when modeled by a dedicated scenery developer. However, as I was looking at the screenshots, I got a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that some of the models I was looking at in the screenshots may have been taken and used without my knowledge or permission. It's not that the…

I can now say with certainty that MSFS2020 has provided the worst "experience" of all the payware software I have installed. Ever. Software now described as "work in progress" by mods and testers on their official forum. I didn't see that on the MSFS 2020 product page before I bought it. Did you? The "flight dynamics" are non-existent. Yes the aircraft go up then down. If you're lucky they will stay up without crashing mid-flight. You can then look forward to landing which involves sliding off the runway because they forgot to include some drag/friction coding. Somone forgot to add the code about how the weather/wind/friction/temperature will affect aircraf…

I love to come on AVSIM to read about MSFS, because it reminds me of a couple of of my favorite movies of all time...starring Walter Matthou and Tony Randall. Grumpy Old Men, and... Grumpier Old Men. Too bad there is no Anne-Margret to be found here. 😆 Bennett

Anyone tried the new wear and tear feature? I started a flight in the 787, set the w&t to 100%. The plane still looks like it just rolled off the assembly line.

I've been holding off on downloading MSFS 2020 until the latest update was done and dusted. Now that the 3 update is live - would it be reasonable to assume the latest Steam Version of Ultimate would already incorporate it? Thanks Eugene

Good Afternoon all So i just got a brand new cyberpower computer and i was wondering is MSFS 2020 worth buying now and upgrading as the future moves forward or waiting until next year when the sim has had some time to mature. Right now in my opinion it is just eye candy and lacks functionality I know that alot of the heavy iron add ons won't be ready till end of this year or next year and all i would be doing is hitting the upgrade button till then every and all opinions would be welcome thanks for your help in advance 13ifs40

There are three aspects to my question: 1. Why can’t updates be a one-step procedure rather than having to launch updates from separate apps (MSFS and the MS Store) and from separate places in the same app (MSFS update screen and MSFS Marketplace)? 2. Why can’t updates be smaller? Hardly anything in the code changes with each iteration, we are certainly not seeing gigabytes of new coding with each download - so why can’t we have a small download that changes the bits of particular files that need updating, instead of wasting so much bandwidth? 3. Why are updates mandatory?

Kneeboard Viewer 10 (KV10) allows the user to open from one to ten ‘on-top-windows’ to view programs of choice, such as a web page like SkyVector, or a pdf reader with tabs for multiple charts (SIDs, STARS, approach charts), or LittleNavmap, etc, in ‘kneeboard windows’ on top of MSFS (or most any other program). The kneeboard windows may be sized and positioned (including to additional monitors) as desired, and will stay visible on top of the MSFS screen while you fly, or may be toggled on and off (shown or hidden) by user selectable keys (or key combinations). In addition, any combination of the assigned kneeboard windows may also be controlled by a single key. So you c…
