I thought this announcement deserves its own thread, separate of the CRJ installation thread. If the mods disagree, please delete this thread or merge it with the installation thread. Anyways, Aerosoft has announced it will release the CRJ on March 16th: https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/155410-aerosoft-aircraft-crj/page/156/&tab=comments#comment-1019172

Hello everybody! As you may have gathered, Aerosoft kindly provided me with a pre-release build of the CRJ to allow me to have a play with it and produce some content. It’s now past 11am, so I’m in a position to share with you what I’ve spent the last week working on! Firstly, I have a ‘first impressions’ review. It’s a new format, nothing like my scenery reviews, and I spend five minutes talking you through my experiences with the aircraft so far – what impressed me and what didn’t: Secondly, I have a ‘Buy it and Fly it’ tutorial (yes, I came up with that all by myself!). Over the course of just over an hour, I take you through everything you …

This is going to be very much down to your equipment and personal taste. Personly I find a linear line to grabby, I like progressive braking so I thought I would share if anyone is intrested. So you can just "feel" your brakes increasing and giving light control more feel.

Hi, sorry if this topic has already been posted, I really didn't find anything similar. Since always, when I start a flight from the sleeve with the dark and cold plane. After all the routine procedure and I reach the assigned runway, when I take off, the plane turns into an uncontrolled machine in the first 1000 feet of elevation. Sometimes it takes a sharp turn to the right or left and is very difficult to control. Almost on the verge of losing control and crashing. After approximately 1000 feet, you can resume steering and apply autopilot. But when I start the flight directly from a runway, the takeoff is smooth without any problems. I use the A320 Ne…

I noticed lately, now more after the latest update, the AI traffic with default planes, has been more visible. I personally enjoy the AI traffic moving around the airport because it doesn't look like a deserted airport anymore, however, the default models look awful. There are a couple of A380s and A330s. Their liveries are bad and I wonder if someone is going to do some repaints for them? For the A380s maybe Emirates and Air France. For the A330 maybe China Eastern?

Just noticed this since the last update, wondering if others can confirm. When I look at the throttle levers in the 747, 2,3 and 4 are all in line like they should be, but the lever for engine 1 is offset and lower.

I have only been using MSFS2020 for the last several weeks, and am tempted by the Mooney M20R...but it's a Carenado! in my FS9, FSX and P3D days I bought a number of Carenado planes, but fairly quickly they ended up in my hangar. Either they were buggy (and Carenado has a reputation for not fixing bugs) or I was just disappointed with the aircraft because it didn't seem to fly correctly, etc. As I am mostly a GA flyer, I always went back to the reliable A2A PA28, Comanche, and Bonanza. I like the JF PA28 quite a lot. And I have flown the Carenado PA44, because no other twin with steam gauges is available for MSFC2020. I have seen some comments from when the Mooney fi…

Before the update the TBM930 was, in some areas, very close to the actual performance listed by the manufacturer in the POH. At an altitude of FL280 for instance, the POH recommends 100% Torque (I used 96%) which should result in an IAS around 213 KTS and a TAS of around 320... and that's about what I got. This was a real pleasure to fly. Now, after the update, cruise performance is WAY OFF. I'm forced to pull the throttle WAY BACK in order to prevent over-speed/maneuvering speed infractions! In order to operate safely, I am now running at 60% torque, so throttle setting for normal cruise is now off by 40%! This has also dropped the airspeed below normal perform…

Sim was working fine last wednesday after simupdate 3 and the hotfix. Then I went on a holiday and returned home today. Now when I start the sim I get "please insert game disc" and I have to quit. Sim, in other words, cant start. Anyone know of a fix? EDIT: MS support has confirmed there is a DRM server outage that makes it impossible to start the simulator. You can check the status of the issue here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status You can also sign in there and have ms sms you when the service is restored.

Hi guys! I'm the proud owner of a piper arrow III (in MSFS obviously) and i refuse to touch the default GPS units in the sim, so im flying my arrow just using radio navigation, a calculator, compass and a chronometer. So far so good but i was wondering, how does that work in the real world on some legs where you're out of coverage from the vor station? Let me give you an example: Lets say that i'm flying the arrow from Puerto Rico to Miami (Ignore the range of the plane, doesn't matter). Along the route over the bahamas there are some legs that i will have to fly "Blind". By "Blind" i mean that i will need to fly like 100 or 200nm without any radio navigation st…

I "collided with an object" while turning off at the 2nd highspeed taxiway. No visible object. There was a plane behind me that was told to go around and never acknowledged, but I didn't think MS had enabled plane-to-plane collisions. Anyone else crash here?

I have been trying to report an issue with a certain area of Texas going to 5FPS, on Zendesk. I feel like I am dealing with a government voicemail system , where you go around in an endless loop and never get anywhere that you can fill actually out a report. Is this done on purpose?

Since the last update neither the TBM or longitude panels are working. Buttons are non responsive. So when I have had problems in the past with aircraft I have deleted then reinstalled. I just deleted the latitude and when I went to reinstall got the following message: --------------------------------------------------- Cessna Citation Longitude The minimum game version is 1.14.2 The following content is required for this item to run properly: -fs-base-propdefs-required version 0.1.2 0.1.58 No version history yet --------------------------------------------- So the sim will not let me reinstall the Longitude. Has any…

HI! I'm still trying to tame the CJ4, which is not an easy task. I have a serious trimming problem - when my trim is set to T/O trim (looking at the indications from the external view) and I'm taking off, my CJ4 raises its nose at approx. 100 kts and then goes up with the pitch reaching 40 degrees up! I wanted to hand-fly her and do the traffic pattern and land, but before I was able to trim the nose down, I was at 7000 feet 😕 At another attempt I found out that setting the trim to 17% down (again - as viewed on the external view screen) makes it behave like a "normal" aircraft, which requires normal yoke pull to take off, instead of pretending to be another Elon Mus…

So anyone have any idea why I would have lost the displays in the Kitfox even though all my workingtitle mods are removed. The other default aircraft displays are working. This one has me stumped. LouP

Popped on to SimMarket this morning and saw this. It looks incredible, and just in time for the CRJ's. simMarket: DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - KDCA WASHINGTON NATIONAL MSFS Drzewiecki Design (drzewiecki-design.net)

I have looked over a few threads and am completely lost. I have MSFS 2020, but not married to it. All I want to do is fly some approaches in a Mooney with a Garmin 400/500 series. 2020 has zilch for Mooneys. I can do Steam or whatever. Just like a simple answer. Candlera this candelero that. Does not matter. Thanks

As the WorkingTitle mod is not working anymore on my system, I had to roll back to the default Garmin G3000 in the TBM. Can you please remind me how I can remove the traffic inset on the PFD screen? (hoping it is possible) Thank you.

I need a bit of help with the setup. In P3D, I had to uncheck the 'enable controllers' box in the Options menu to allow the sim to receive commands from FSUIPC. What do I need to do within MSFS2020, as I have the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Joystick and Throttle - and do not know how to disable them - so that I can command the sim using FSUIPC. Any help greatly appreciated.
