Experienced this today in the Seneca at Innsbruck after parking and shutting down the engines. Props kept spinning quite fast. It was quite windy, 120° 20kt, gusting 33kt according to the METAR. Made for a challenging crosswind landing at rwy 26! Should have taken a video. Anyone else experienced this? Do pilots do something to secure props at windy airports in RL?

My review of this new MSFS jet. Check this out before you consider whether you want to drop the cash on this thing because it has quite a few issues. Potentially it could be nice, but it needs some tweaks before it can justify its price.

This may be the future of the pushback which MSFS modders need to be quick for a new addon 🙂

New user of P2A here....really enjoying it so far after taking a couple nights to set it up properly and familiarize myself. One thing I'm confused on however...why does ATC gives me expected runways when inbound to a non towered field? 20 miles out or so, I'll randomly get told to "expect runway 21". After that, everything works as I would expect...I'll typically about 10 miles out or so be told "airport at your 9 o'clock, radar services terminated, frequency change to advisory approved." Perfect. It's not a big deal...I can obviously just ignore the instruction, but is there something I'm missing to have this not take place?

Has anyone been able to get the Bravo throttle Autopilot to work with FBWa320 or AS CRJ?

OK so I've watched A320simpilot's videos but apparently missed something critical: when typing in the EFB for Simbrief the sim processes my input too which equates to all sorts of s**t going on/off. As well, I am no longer able to input my simbrief userid in the MCD. Obviously these are critical issues that prevent a proper flight setup so if someone can perhaps correct my mistakes I would be most appreciative.

I’ll post this in the Aerosoft forum but after speeding so time in the Longitude we really need something that can comfortably get across the pond that’s corporate. Stops in Gander is fine but it would be nice to takeoff from a smaller airport around the Atlanta, DC, or South Florida area and make it directly to Luton for example . We’ve never had a corporate jet in FS with that kind of range. Gulfstream shut the FS community down years ago but seeing as Aerosoft has done the CRJ the Global Express has essentially the same flight deck. It took PMDG years to consider the BBJ hopefully a shorter time frame could be had with Aerosoft for this option.

A pleasant surprise while navigating through some of the default airports. Give SEQM - Quito a try. The approaches are somewhat challenging with a lot of mountainous terrain, beautiful scenery and high density altitude. The airport is at 7910'.

Curious. What is the purpose of the tab called 'Insider Home', at the Microsoft Flight Simulator website? the latest information there is dated August 6th 2020, with Updated Feedback Snapshot Version #8.01.

2 flights today I had the Longitude Autopilot go haywire and the aircraft spun out of control. Worked flawless yesterday.... Using the FDE FIX MOD. Anyone else notice this?

I have a Saitek Throttle Quadrant with three levers mapped to Throttle, Prop and Mixture. I notice when flying, that there is no way to tune the prop speed manually to sync props. What are people doing, just disconnecting the prop Quadrant control and moving the prop levers manually?

In Microsoft's quarterly conference call, CEO Satya Nadella described the simulator's marketplace as "vibrant". https://twinfinite.net/2021/04/microsoft-xbox-series-x-s-demand/ Apparently, games are not specifically referenced by their names in these conference calls except for outstanding cases, with the only other game getting mentioned this time being Minecraft. This gives hope that Microsoft will continue to invest into development of the simulator for several years to come.

Why fs2020 have so many bugs and i send a comment to microsoft but nothing, they send me create a ticket???

After having had great help to find the file which contains the Options I am now looking for the file with the Traffic settings. I have made a batchfile which can load 2 Options file : VFR and IFR. Now I want to be able to include different settings for AC traffic and Car traffic depending on VFR or IFR. I have searched but did not find the file with the Traffic settings. Anyone know ? Thanks in advance.

Yep I know this has been there since day 1 but its really annoying. Just happened again now for me, it is intermittent but I would say 70% of my 2nd flights don't load live weather in. Have to kill the sim and restart which is a pain because it takes so frikkin long to load! Loading in with clear skies and then switching to Live weather never works me either. Hey ho moan over hope they fix it soon!

I can't move my MSFS installation from my C SSD drive to a new dedicated D SSD drive using Apps & Features in Settings and I'm getting "We couldn't move Microsoft Flight Simulator the operation did not complete successfully. Try again in a bit. The error code is 0x80073d0b, in case you need it." BTW the new empty SSD drive is NTFS formatted and working properly. Not sure is this topic must be here or in another place, please help. Thanks,

There are a few tail-dragger modifications coming out for MSFS, with the bush C172 and now the Robin, both over at flightsim.to. Considering the restricted view on take-off and potentially more difficult ground handling, why are these so popular? Is there a good reason to have a tail-dragger?

Hi, I use to fly on IVAO network, it's good for me to receive textual messages from ATCs and UNICOM, but it's really bad this messages appears in the middle of the screen and,especially during a final approach, this is veri annoying. Do you know if ther's a way to move the pop-up box aside? Or if not, is there a way to disable those pop- up? I already set all the notifications off, but IVAO messages are not disabled.... I am a big sound afficianado or something like that... my friend at XPRealistic can't release his much awaited masterpiece for FS2020 until Asobo opens up the mechanism to allow sound editing, cameras to be made etc... why on earth not? I am a HUGE 2020 fan and will remember the joy I got on August 18th forever! But we need vibrations, head motion, toucdown shakes etc... runway thumping... that don't exist. The sim is so dead arriving onto a runway or barreling down it... I am not sure why no users notice this except me! One guy wrote me to say he likes the muffled sounds, like wearing a headset.... sorry, a 748 engine doesn't sound like a NASA rocket ....from the cockpit…
