Hello: I can't seem to find and install the hotfix 1.15.10.0. I went to the MS Store, clicked on "Get Updates", says everything is up to date, start MSFS but it stays at 1.15.08.0. I have the digital download from MS, NOT Steam. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave

Thought I’d take the Carenado Seneca out for a scenic flight in the Alps. Created an IFR flight plan from LOWI Innsbruck to LIML Milan Lineate. For some added challenge I planned a short stop at LSZS Samedan. Being about halfway on the way to Milan, I thought I’d refuel there. I departed from Innsbruck rwy 26 with half full tanks in fair weather, albeit strong winds. The initial departure kept me constantly busy, handling the aircraft whilst following the published procedure to get safely up to altitude. “Keep a heading of 272 until 3.3nm from OEV LOC DME, then turn visually left to join OEJ on course 066 via RUM”. The procedure is like half a visual circuit, turnin…

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that the game refreshed monthly and is supposed to mirror Bing maps' most current aerial imagery. I remember in the past that Bing typically lagged behind Google, but ironically, Bing is actually much more current, like within the last year for the Orlando, FL area, where Google is still like maybe 2 years behind (I gauge this by buildings I have seen pop up in real life that are in bing but not in google). The Orlando area is like maybe 6 years old or so in game according to some similar maps of Google's history from 2014/2015 or so. I cleared my rolling and manual cache but it is still no where near as updated as Bing maps. Is th…

For those of you with real flying experience... Are the signs on the taxiways and runways fairly consistent between airports in the US? I've looked at this reference: https://www.faa.gov/airports/runway_safety/publications/media/QuickReferenceGuideProof8.pdf Just wonder if you might ever see custom wording, or something like "RWY 10 >", or is it always just 10 - 28

Okay, first of all - I know there's a million and one topics on this but bear with me. I've got a Ryzen 3600X CPU, SSD drive, RTX2060 Super GBU 16GB DDR4 ram and I'm happy with the performance of MSFS. But I get 8-20FPS in busy airports and want to crank up some settings to improve graphics. My love in this sim is scenery What options will give me best bang for buck and or what order should I do these in? Upgrade to 32GB DDR4 ram with 2 more 8GB cards Move to 2x 16GB DDR4 Wait for DDR5 ram and get 32GB Move to dedicated SSD Move onto M.2 Upgrade to Ryzen 5900X or similar Get second GPU 2060 Super? (not sure if th…

I am thinking of buying a Realsimgear 530. But would that only be working with a 530 or could I use it with a G1000 or GTN750. Maybe not the popup window but at least the buttons? I mainly am looking for a button to work as inner /outer knob with push cursor functionality , for flying in VR (and ocaasionaly lift off my VR headset to glance at a monitor or panel.

Is it possible to use multiple settings config files ? So when flying to larger airports with large cities nearby you could use lower Lod settings and lower car traffic settings . And when flying to smaller airports with smaller towns nearby you could use higher settings. Thanks.

I got MSFS from the MS store, and asked it to install on my D drive, which was successful. I appreciate that even so, parts of it are still on the C drive. I've got 1 Community folder on the C drive: Placed at the Windows C:/User/AppData etc /Packages, and another at New Volume D:/MSFS/Community When I installed Just Flights Arrow 3 (bought from Just Flight not the MS Store)- it didn't ask me where to put it, and installed to the C drive Community folder, and it didn't show up in the simulator. I also installed the Next Gen Bandeirante, also purchased from Just Flight, and during the install, it told me it had detected my MSFS was installed on my D drive, a…

Where I live my internet connection data allowance is small and expensive and not real fast so I can't stay online for long to keep streaming data and so I'm looking to manually cache scenery. I am curious to know what the manual cache size would be for different areas. I realize that the size would be determined by whether low, medium or high was used and I'm only looking for an approximation. For example an area of about 7,500 sqare miles using medium resolution overall and with the main citys and airports at high, what would be the total size in GB? I like to fly GA aircraft at about 5000' up to 200 miles. Say I did a flight from Seattle down to Portland i…

Hi I normally update the FBW Dev version daily, but i skipped a few days recently and only updated again last night. Now to the issue, whenever i activate AP after take off it instanlty disables with the usual tones indicating AP disconnection. I have tried everything from reconfiguring joystick, and dead zone settings, re -installing the aircraft. Even manually trying HDG mode the aircaft simply keeps turning.and AP cannot be activated, as it cancels immediatly. Totally baffled as i have been using this mod since day one, but never seen anything like this. Have there been any other system setting changes in recent days, that i have missed? Cheer's for any …

Since I purchased the Flying Iron Spitfire, they seem to load in copious quantities as AI aircraft. Everywhere I look there are Spitfires. Worse still, the are parked, standing at gates with the tailwheel in the air. So, is there a way to prevent the Spitfire from showing up as an AI? Maybe a config file tweak? I rather like flying it from time to time but this makes me want to uninstall it. It seems to dominate AI at every airport I fly in and out of.

I'm really getting annoyed that whenever the Arrow gets an update I am never alerted by JF (and I have told them about this issue too). The only way i usually have to find out is by reading around the forums. Tonight I found out by having a look around flightsim.to...one of my mods was updated and mentioned the fact that JF has release another update today. I downloaded and installed but there's no patch notes on my account page at JF nor is there any notes offered during the install.
