Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi everyone, I just downloaded the AIG Manager Beta and did everything as per a Youtube video I found detailing all the installation paths. It is working but, there is no way I can connect to AVSIM via the AIG Manager... It is always telling me " Sorry, your login or password is incorrect I know my login and account are correct as when I try to connect via this site to the library it works just fine. Any thoughts for me please as the result is that I cannot download a lot of flight plans through the AIG Manager. Thanks in advance for your help! Best regards,

I started a flight from KBWI this morning, runway 22, in the DC 6. Climbing out at around 2000 feet, the audio cut out for 2 seconds, came back and then a CTD. I restarted PC, and the same thing happened again two more times. I had just installed the G 750-650 mod yesterday, so I figured that was the cause because I haven't had a CTD in about 6 months. I deleted the 750-650 mod from the community folder, and no help. I just started a fllight from another airport, KBDL, and no problems. Has anyone else seen this with just one airport?

Would anybody know what causes the ground crews and some equipment to turn into a pink checkerboard pattern? All I have done is to install AIG; this cannot be related, unless...? If someone would kindly explain how to attach images to a post, thanks in advance. EDIT. Just noticed that if I zoom out enough they don their usual yellow vests. Same effect in the cockpit view or outside view.

Allowing a few weeks for transitioning from beta to working copy, will installing AIG add significant static and moving traffic to Memphis International, main hub for Federal Express? The plain vanilla default KMEM is pathetic. Just curious, but interested enough to install AIG if it looks like it can wake up KMEM for me. Thanks. Regards, Ray

Hi Folks. I have noticed a few people wishing to get rid of the Pushback guy, you know the one. The expensive guy that your local GA field makes you use and then slips you a bill at the end of the month!! I have a way to make him go away and not bother you anymore. First though, the DISCLAIMER. Hi folks. I am not a pilot and in fact barely know how to fly in MSFS. Nonetheless, I just received a new Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and Bravo Throttle Quadrant. I am so new that I just learning how to fly small single engine planes. I have watched videos that explained that the switches on the Bravo are set by default to the same lights that are set on the yoke and that you should reprogram the Bravo switches to something else. However, I am too new to know what are good candidates to set those switches to. All the files and folders inside my MSFS folder have a golden lock and I can't move them. As an example, I can put files inside the community folder but I' cant copy them later to the desktop or any other place, I can just delete them. If I try to move a file from the community folder to the desktop I get this message "Your organization doesn not allow you to place this file here". Why is this happening?

Okay, just yesterday this started happening and now I can't get it to NOT do it. This generally means I have a duplicate binding for Parking Brakes, but I'll be damned if I can find it. Here's what I run: FS2020 with Aerosoft CRJ Peripherals: Honeycomb Alpha, Bravo, CH rudder pedals. Axis and Ohs for LVAR handling for the Alpha and Bravo FSUIPC 7 (for Self-Loading Cargo) I installed FSUIPC 7 yesterday to get Self-Loading Cargo working. I got 'lost' in the first leg of the Balkans trip and can't figure out how to get back to the takeoff point. I think I'm somewhere along the route of the second or third leg.

There seems to be an error in the fuel gauge as displayed on the G1000 nxi MFD for the wonderful turbocharged Bonanza. The gauge display seems to max out at 30 gallons per tank, rather than the 40 indicated on the weight and fuel page of the simulator. Furthermore, partial fills of the tanks don't display properly on the fuel gauge either, e.g., a half fill of 20 gallons per tank displays as 18 or so on the gauge, so the error isn't even linear. I did try the default G36, and its G1000 nxi display is also incorrect, so perhaps this error is wired in somewhere. Hey guys, was practicing circuits in DA40 as I'm starting my PPL soon, was wondering does real thing also need like constant trimming depending on airspeed changes? I catch my self changing trim all the time

There were about 10 of these endlessly going around at KCLT. No way that the ATC and AI handling in MSFS can handle traffic at a busy airport. On the ground at KCLT two A319's backed out of their gates and then started doing endless donuts next to me. Really needs some attention from Asobo, and maybe now that tens of thousands of users have AIG installed it will get some more attention. AIG is a great program, really enjoying it, but it won't be really good until the sim is fixed.

Now I see the airliners jocks laughing at me 😁 ! So let me explain. Never been a great fan of airliners. Nothing wrong with them but with me, It is just not what I expect from a sim (short flights less than 75 minutes, hands on driving, not too much preparation as in programming a FMS etc.) But I try from time to time... Now we have two short to medium haulers coming up, the PMDG 737 and the Milviz ATR. I am not overly interested by the 737 (never say never...) but intrigued by the ATR. Purchased MSFS. New pc ( high spec) on order. Will not install it until that arrives. Quick question can you run it on 3 screens with nvifia surround like you could with fsx? cheets

I found the video easy to follow and followed the steps. However, when I am at the airport - in this case EGLL - there are no aircraft showing apart from the one I am using. I have AIG Traffic Controller running in the background and have double/triple checked the Traffic settings. I can hear aircraft in the background but don't see any. Help please

There is advice to locate the packages(addons?) to a drive where one has more space. I intend to install the game to same drive as windows where I have at the moment luxurious 500Gb free for this project. Now, won´t it slow down the gaming considerably if the packages are on a other drive? Especially so as the main is SSD and the other normal HDD.

I was browsing the Marketplace (I do that a lot but I rarely buy from it) tonight and noticed yet another stunning looking addon by REG Designs. I think they're out of Toronto. I haven't purchased any because I rarely fly in that area. But it just happens to be a bit east of the eastern boundary of my sector - so maybe I'll make some flights that way. I was enroute to EHEH yesterday in an Aerosoft CRJ 700 when avionics and the engine failed - do not ask me how or why as I do not know. So, I started the APU mid flight, and managed to restart both engines. There was a constant humming noise, and when I looked externally, I noticed this 'fan' at the front of the plane. I assume it is some form of a fan to generate power. I have fsx2020 on my pc. I want to install it on my laptop (meets all requirements) as well. the first 8 disc install well, but after that it doesn't do anything. No message, no asking for disc 9&10. and I can't find anything on my SSD 512 at all (only disc) does anybody know what to do
