Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I installed the XE mod, but not sure it is installed. Does it just override the ASOBO? Anyways, couple of issues with it. 1. The FO's fmc does not function 2. The APP mode doesn't work properly 3. The READ ME file doesn't really explain the proper installation or procedures. I want to try the XH mod, but cannot understand how to install properly. Gnacino

Good day, Some suggestions that might make this simulation less time-consuming, less tweaking, and much easy to operate during start-up for a better experience. I would like after we create and save a new setup tailored for a particular aircraft for keyboard, mouse, rudder, yoke, throttle in the control section to be memorized and automatically loaded for that particular aircraft. PC & STEAM Win 10 I create a new flight plan using World Map and fly the flight after saving the plan. I have all the Working Title mods installed, as well as the Xi from the Market Place. I noticed that my G1000 display is borked in my C172 G1000 amphibs. So, before coming here, I deleted all my working titles, as well as the V4 Bonanza Turbo. Deleting those, and then running MSFS did not bring back a running G1000 in the 72's.. Can anyone suggest another possible add on that I might have installed that would conflict with Asobo's standard G1000 display (both screens) Thanks in advance for any advice on what add on might be conflicting with the default G1000.

So I have an RTX 2070 with Ryzen 5 3600. Happy 1080p and 30fps MSFS gamer. Worked out that capping 30fps in game, AND nvidia frame cap at 30fps and using Optimal or adaptive power pretty much locks mhz to 1200 and goes up if i hit a city.... keeps temps at about 60c on GPU CPU 55c.That was HIGH preset.So then i tried ULTRA for the sake of it....Still smooth and mhz still at just 1200 over Scottish highlands....Not sure if the pic is big enough but look at my MSI stats on the left at power draw etc....All of that and GPU pulling 1200mhz??! Quick question, can I use FlightDeck with Stream Deck XL at the same time as having A&O installed, or will there be some conflict? Reason being, there are some profiles only available to use with FlightDeck that aren't available to use with A&O. Anyone currently doing so without any issues?

Someone has an air traffic problem over some large airports (Example: KLAX), where you see a number of planes fly over you at very low altitude and high speed without the correct direction. Sometimes they pass two by two or one after the other over the airport buildings almost colliding with the control towers. I don't know what could be happening. I have noticed this behavior more often on AI OFFLINE. Very little in REAL TRAFFIC ONLINE

HI!, Armchair Captains I have just installed a couple of free MODs from market place, UK2000 Common and Vessels Core libraries but when I fly around the airports I don't see any aircraft in any other libraries other than the default ones. And with the vessels core library I did not see any extra ships or boats other than Henrik's GAIST MOD's ships and boats. Since there are no instructions any where about these MODs, I have no idea what else to do to make them (ships,boats planes ete.)appear in the MSFS2020. If you are using those MODs, then please share your settings for the files like adjusting the sliders in the traffic section of the MSFS2020 or any other options. Th…

Some of you may recall that there was a group (not sure who) that developed some beautiful replacements for the default jetways. The issue for me was that they were enclosure walls were glass vs. metal, which I understand is quite popular outside of the US. I recall making this statement about it somewhere and since forgot about it. However, today I find this (simultech jetways) and they have done exactly that. This is great and just purchased it. The Flightsim.to scenery map was accessible via a menu on the l.h.s. which seems to have been restructured. The map itself seems to be still available https://flightsim.to/scenery-map but I don't find it linked from the main Flightsim.to page anymore. I was just noticing that the most recent file library updates over the past few days were mostly for FS2004 - it's amazing and wonderful that content is still being created and uploaded for that version. But why is there no activity for MSFS - especially when Flightsim.to is so amazingly popular? Is the file library just not a focus for AVSIM these days? Seems like a missed opportunity. The AVSIM homepage also looks a bit odd when a good chunk of the news posts are FS2004 uploads - maybe suspend the file library updates if it's not a focus anymore? I've got nothing against FS2004 - but those updates make the site look dated, and they bury the actual news article…

Hey All - This is a pretty easy question but I just want to be sure before I subscribe to a NavData plan. I have been flying around Just Flight's PA28-161 + PMS50 GTN addon. I am having an issue where some approaches are accurately depicted on the GTN preview but incorrectly load and skip the IAF. My example from last night was flying into Springdale AR and shooting the ILS 18 approach. The approach appeared fine in preview but the loaded and activated / loaded plan skipped right over the IAF 'TINSE'. The waypoint was depicted but the loaded p[lan didn't load this leg and it went straight to the FAF. Is this a function of NavD…

Hi all. I will start by saying that I am a complete newbie still to flying, to the sim, and to the new Honeycomb accessories I bought. But I have watched dozens of videos and followed many guided tutorials on setting everything up and have things set up pretty well (I think). For today, what I hope is a simple question: On the throttle quadrant, as soon as I start a flight, even while still on the ground, the Anti Ice light seems like it's always on no matter what I do.
