Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi, I get the selection box, but when clicking it it no longer brings up the ATC dialog request boxes or the ATC history. I did notice that all my “accessibility options” got reset. Fixed those but can’t seem to resurrect the ATC functionality. Any help or insight greatly appreciated! -B

With SU7, can somebody please tell me if this has been finally fixed? It's been there ever since SU5 (Xbox Release) and had crept it's ugly way into the PC version. I hope that it's not in SU7.

I wonder if somebody can help me with this conundrum. I originally downloaded MSFS to my D drive and installed MSFS Add on Linker too, pointing it to my community folder on the D drive. During one of the MSFS updates I seem to remember forgetting to tell the installer to update to D drive and it installed everything again to the standard C drive. I have only just noticed that when I run "Community folder finder" it points to the C drive (and the folder is fully populated and up to date) but checking out the settings in MSFS AddOns, it shows the following: d:\wpsystem\s-1-5-21-819395844-1098284098-2466235434-1000\appdata\local\packages\microsoft.flightsimulator_8…

Hey all, Just trying to figure out if anybody else is having this same issue after SU6: You go to load a flight from a 3rd party airport (let's take LEBL from LVFR for example), the loading bar jumps to about 50 to 60% very quickly, then SLOWLY moves to 100% and then hangs there forever. The sim never becomes unresponsive in the task manager, the GPU is still whirring away but it never loads into the flight. Asobo hand crafted airports seem to load in fine, and certain Orbx airports also seem to be fine. I have heard the the REX airport textures could be at fault, but I haven't gotten a chance to look into this yet. Anybody else experiencing this? J…

ANY plane with the G1000 Nxi (have not tested other autopilots/control systems) will periodically roll (left or right) and begin a spiral dive towards earth. Watching this occur from outside the plane - there is NO/NONE movement of any control surface which might initiate the roll and dive. In the cockpit - there is no movement of the yoke or pedals. The G1000 display shows the proper course, heading, altitude, VS, FLC - none of that changes during the upset. This maneuver occurs when on a HDG or GPS and sometime APR course, when climbing, descending, or in level flight. Hi. I am considering buying the cheaper Reno Air Race pack for $19.99 USD, mainly for the P-51. Racing around the Reno Air Race track is icing on the cake for me. Has anybody tried the P-51 that comes with the $19.99 pack? I don't even know which P-51 it is. For people that bought the $19.99 USD Reno Air Race pack, how is the quality of that P-51?

Hey guys, Coming fromIL-2 and DCS I love the various iterations of spitfire on both sims. I'd like to do a tour of the old western front and eastern front in MSFS with a spitfire sim. I know they're entirely different models of Spit, but I'm less interested in the specific model and more in which is the superior simulation. Which would you advise of the following? Just watched a YouTube video about the rolling cache that suggests it is only caching photogrammetry data - I thought it cached scenery tiles too?

Well, I just checked for download updates...and the STORE itself just got updated. (Edited) Look for your Library at the BOTTOM LEFT, which had always been at the top right....

Hey! I fancy doing some exploring, but we have been so spoilt with all the updates so far for MSFS that I have lost track of what airports are handcrafted, and which cities have photogrammetry. Is there a list of all of these which is kept up to date anywhere? Thanks.

What's the advantage / disadvantage of using this Google maps add-on Looking at things such as performance improvement/reduction... impact to other add-on... Obviously the reason for the add-on is scenery improvement.. so we can ignore that. I'll test that myself.

I was playing around with AI Manager and AI Traffic (by the way, great, just great. Don't know what else to say Kaii and the AIG team🙂). I noticed a couple of aircraft went missed approach and then as I had heard in the past, they just circled around and until they disappear. Well, I got called out on some business and since I didn't think I would be too long, I just left the system running. One thing led to another and it was some six hours so before I got in front of the screen again and this is what I saw on the Traffic Manager Map. Hi all I find the in built save flight woefully inadequate because it locks out active pause and does not save the weather at the time so if you do a save on finals for xwind practise it won't save it and you can't change any weather, totally ridiculous Is anyone aware of any app that would allow a situation save including weather so we may be able to save or practice a particular scenario, Thanks Wayne
