Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I am enjoying the new CubCrafters NX CUB very much, and learning how not to crash it too often. I did noticed that whatever I do in MSFS, the default plane livery does not display a tail number. I've Google searched to find a way to included one, however I haven't come up with an answer yet. Is there any way I can edit a file in MSFS to display a number? Thanks for your time and any help. As per title... I started up the sim after my first test flight with working LW and voila....clear skies and no wind....baro 1013 all around. METAR is telling a different story...

To my utter suprise the loogbook popped up after my first complete flight after the update to SU7. I was under the impression that it was solved? I've updated the sim yesterday and made a short testflight and then I shut the sim down before I had completed the flight. But today, after my first completed flight after the SU7, the loggbook popped up when I shut down the aircraft.

Go to content manager to download world and other updates posted subsequent to the SU7 release

There must be an easy shortcut, but I'm unaware of what it is. Does anyone know how to eliminate the instruments that appear when viewing the aircraft from the outside?

Anyone else have an issue where, after the latest update, live weather only shows clear skies? I can toggle through the various presets but Live shows this:

An hour ago PMDG changed their profile picture on Facebook to the 737 in MSFS. Last time they did this it was the DC-6 and it was released one month after. You should all know that PMDG likes to tease people with that stuff, so they have clearly a reasoning for changing the pic. I think we are in for a nice christmas! With the latest update these are now present. Also lead-in markings after landing on the runway. How do I turn these off. Thanks for any guidance.

Missing the "Auto Complete Page" option since the update.

New Replay mode in dev options. Did You tried? What do You think about this new mode?

Anyone get a chance to try out the new ASOBO PC-6 who also has the Milviz PC-6? If so, let us know what you think as to the comparison betwixt the two 🙂 here's a few things i noticed off the bat: 1) none of the doors open 2) there's no autopilot 3) haven't figured how to cut off the red fuel condition lever 4) the cabin light switch doesnt work (so no cabin lights at night) 5) textures are awesome and crisp 6) the prop startup and run animations still suck 7) the engine feels pretty underpowered compared to Milviz

I have seen screen shots of it written in capitals, i can't see it my end? How do i know its there? Do i have to turn it on?

I wonder whether MSFS is our toy or the Asobo engineers toy. They tweak, tweak, tweak what MS sold us without our consentment, making the result mandatory. They remind me of the French bureaucrats inventing new rules all the time to legitimate their existence. I was annoyed by P3D constant updates and HF. MS has brought this mania to new heights. The kid in me says : Couldn’t you let us play alone in our sandbox for a while 🤣 ?

All my settings, LOD, etc... have been set back to default. What a PIA.

SU7 has added the condition lever in the Controls options panel. Have not checked how it works yet but bound it to my HOTAS without problem. I wonder whether @Milviz and @OSM have anything to comment ?

LOL, what is it???? The next .... it will be very dense ... but for consolation, additional Asobo models are unfortunately weak and do not have updates

I don't know how it happened, but my second monitor stopped working partway through the big download. Now, if I turn it off and back on again, it lasts for about half a second then dies. The lights are still on, but I can't use it. Any thoughts?

I used to have the left side of the cockpit mapped to num 4. But now it always point to the center area really close no matter what I assign to num 4. Anyone else. Suggestion for solution please.

How does one adjust the visibility distance now post-SU7?

anyone having trouble, I lost about 40% FR now, graphical glitches top of screen like my card is going bad, but don't have this issue in other games..... all poor FR after this update... anyone else? i9 asus laptop 1080 .... I had 50fps before, 22 now in default a320 all on default.
