Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I must be blind: cannot find the rudder trim indicator for the steam PC-6? Anyone managed more than a 30s-something knots in the Volocopter? Trim commandments are ignored, flat-out (level) flight at 36(ish) KIAS has full forward stick for me. This cannot be normal, and it appears that the real thing is a lot faster that this. Shouldn't the T-6 Texan have tail-wheel lock? ... and one last thing. I have lost my way; can anyone tell me where in the Menus I disable live traffic again? 🤷‍♂️

Has anyone worked out how to collapse the Capt. control column after the latest update.

I'm trying to use the base TBM930 after SU7 using a flightplan through msfs. Upon takeoff, I cannot engage the autopilot. I've tried the AP button and also the keyboard shortcut. I haven't seen it mentioned and wondered if I'm the only one or is this an SU7 bug with the TBM930. I've only tried the Airbus 32nx and that worked.

Airport Graphics has an update in Content Manager.

OK..so I just did a flight in SU7 in daylight so I could see what the fuss was about regarding haze, abrupt transitions, etc. My A32NX flight started great and WX looked good on departure and also enroute (KSRQ-KSBN). I began to think...what are these people seeing?? Nothing looks wrong at all!! I then started my descent and at about 20k'..boom...a jarring layer of something appears beneath me. Oh no!! Well ok, I guess this is what I have been reading about. Another couple thousand feet...boom! Another strange layer appears, not sure what it is supposed to be but it came out of nowhere. I have always started MSFS via MSFS AddOns Linker. Since the latest "improvement" MSFS sometimes loads and sometimes does not even appear in "Task Manager" as attempting to load. The only way to resolve the issue is to restart Windows. Is anybody else experiencing this?

In the flight model section I have it set to Modern, but all options within that menu are greyed out. When I purchase a new airport I like to take a "drive" around to see all the details so that means cruising through fences etc, so I like to turn off the crash realism. Any idea how I can bypass the insim setting by editing a config file within the FS folder? This wasn't a problem in previous versions of the sim, SU7 seems to have reconfigured a few things which I before had the freedom to turn on and off.

Just wondering if anyone else has tried the Mixmugz TBM930 and experienced the frozen start and ignition switches and if so, can it be fixed?

I was previously getting a smooth 30FPS even with demanding scenery and graphics settings. Now, with DX12 (beta) enabled, I'm getting a choppy 20FPS. I know that Asobo said there wouldn't be any performance improvement with DX12. But they said nothing about serious performance degradation. Also, DX12 appears to provide no benefit whatever to scenery quality.

How do those of you who have purchased this plane like it? Does anybody know if we’ll be able to install community repaints for this plane if we buy only one repaint of this plane vs. the entire package? I remember loving this plane in FSX early P3D it seems like an almost-accesible private jet, I know I’ve seen private examples Scream over our house here in Wisconsin and back when the wonderful Manitowoc Air Show was still held I remember a whole bunch of these softly breaking formation and coming in to land one by one...wonderful. I never downloaded SU7 and the sim doesn't see any updates. Not sure what to do or if it downloaded it by itself when I left the sim running overnight?

During the the last about 1-2 weeks I have encountered big problems with the broadband connection in MSFS. After starting MSFS I get a message saying my bandwidth is to low for MSFS. Or that the connection is lost and I am switched to offline mode. When I called my broadband support she made a total reset of my modem. And also we run a speed check directly after encountering this problem. That test indicated no problem. Result 160 Mbit download speed. Has anyone else experienced that the broadband connection with MSFS has problems like this lately ?

Hi there! Today I've completed my first ever Working Title CJ4 flight (Version 0.12.9 for SU7 compatibility) using Youtuber "JayDee"s great CJ4 tutorials and his awesome checklists from flightsim.to. However I've just got some difficulties with setting up the MFD and PFD. My problem is, most buttons of the respective Cursor Control Panels don't work. CHART (NO CHART AVAILABLE comes up on the MFD as I don't have Navigraph), CKLST and PASS BRIEF are the only knobs that actually change some views on the MFD. I can't even select items from CKLIST or PASS BRIEF or scroll through them. MEM 1, 2 and 3 working too but that's it. I can't sel…

After SU7 the head up display is always visible in the external view. How I can disable it? Regards Stefano

I am not tech savoy at all so I was wondering what the difference is between 11 and 12 and what I would benefit from by moving to 12 on my PC. Thanks!

This happened after I updated the driver, the lights flickering and the screen tearing, saw some folks before complaining about this before though Do you know guys why?

Am I alone to see strange behaviours of this controller ? Reverse throttle not working anymore (already documented in another thread) but now my autopilot is unswitchable in the MV Porter, I had to unbound the button...

Apologies if this issue has already been discussed but I noticed that the A320 autopilot is acting a bit erratic after the update. If you adjust the V/S the nose of the plane starts rocking up/down in an aggressive manner. Even if you adjust the V/S up/down by one click the plane's nose starting rocking up and down (very annoying). Not a pilot but I don't think this is a normal behavior.

Hi there I'm still getting performance degredation during landing at biggish airports, though things are smooth on takeoff and cruise, stock A320, High graphics settings and frames locked at 30. I'm using the AIG traffic but have the density set to 15%. I'm confused as to why I'm getting a solid performance, no matter the airport, on takeoff and cruise, but on landing I'm barely scraping 20FPS at mid sized or large airports. I use DX11 and it was happening before the latest patch. Does anyone have any ideas, or are experiencing similar? I've created a new rolling cache, and I hardly run any mods apart from the traffic.
