Hey all, It would be great to avoid a discussion around whether or not 30fps is enough here please as we've done that to death! I've been waiting on Asobo to enable some functionality which PMDG said greatly increases performance of the DC6 in cockpit, so I checked in over at the PMDG forums. Turns out they've enabled it as part of the developer build (presumably for release in the next update). With this enabled this beautiful aircraft is finally flyable for me. It was worth the wait. I've gone from 30fps upto a constant 48 minimum in cockpit but more often 60+ (2080ti, 9700k, 32gb DDR4, ultra/high mix, 3440x1440). https://forum.pmdg.com…

Haven't had a chance to try the new update myself yet, but in streams I'm watching the new haze just looks incredible. The crazy far visibility has been a major immersion killer for me in msfs2020, you just can't see that far in real life, but this new haze really adds so much. Glad to see they're still tweaking and playing with the weather system as time goes on.

I have a question about navdata updates in the a32nx. When the simulator updates, does the navdata in the a32nx also update with the simulator?

So I was pondering picking up a cheap tablet as a second screen for MSFS as I didn't want to keep my iPad Pro in constant use just for the sim. Found a couple of really useful free apps so picked up an Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet in the current sale for use and also found an old Fire 7 tablet to work great as an additional screen. Now have both 'MSFS Mobile Companion App' and 'Flight Display Companion (G3000 style display for android)' set up and these work great. Loving having an interactive map with flight plan on the 10" tablet with flight display running on top of my yoke on the 7". Both of these run flawlessly and with absolutely zero hit on performance in sim. …

I upgraded my monitor to a 32 165Mhz Gsync monitor and was wondering what setting in Nvidia Inspector are needed as well as what settings in MSFS, vsync y/n, frames, etc?

It appears to me that since SU7 I have too many windsocks at add-on airports. I'm seeing two windsocks, sometimes very close to each other. At some airports there are even 3 of them. Is this a known "bug"? I'm not sure that this wasn't there before SU7 but at least it was not so common imo.

Hi all thank you for your time, Having issues with elevator input across all aircraft. Aileron input is fine but whenever I try to increase/decrease pitch it doesn’t work. The trim works fine. I even tried using keyboard but the elevator does the same thing. It moves for a millisecond then goes back to the neutral position. I’ve tried creating some new profiles within controls but no avail. Only started happening with SU7. Using a thrustmaster and have updated drivers etc update to SU7 running on windows 11. Thank you for your help. james

I was just browsing on Simmarket and noticed some of these products are on sale right now. Has anyone any experience with these products and what does it bring to the party, I can see screenshots perfectly but was wondering if traffic flows on them for example. I guess it might be to particular VFR flights but just wanted to know if anyone thinks these benefit the sim.

Dear All A really weird thing has happened to my previously fine CJ4 since SU7; this occurs both with and without the WT mod. When I load the plane all the screens are completely white - except for the standby display. Never seen his before in the CJ4 or any other plane, modded or otherwise. My other non PL-21 planes (eg WT G3000, GX avionics etc) are unaffected. Thanks for any help or tips.... Ray

After installing the latest FBW A320 (Dev version) I have had an unusual occurrence with the throttle. On short final into EGLL and in clear view of the runway I was advised by ATC to 'go around'. With nothing visible on the runway I continued my descent when suddenly the engines powered up. I placed the throttles to idle but the engines remained powered up. Hoping this was an isolated incidence I tried a flight again to EGLL, and the same thing again occurred after being advised to 'Go Around'. I had the AP and Auto throttle disengaged. All my assist options are 'off' apart from 'assist take-off'. Is this a bug? Just me? Is it normal? For reference I am using DX11,…

I bought KSDF a while back (not through marketplace) and haven't flown there in a while. I went to fly out of SDF and saw that it was back to default. How do you reinstall? I went to the link provided in the original order and it expired and ran the FSDT updater but it didn't install into MSFS. Thanks!

Hi, Since the latest update I have been trying the DX12, but with disappointing results. My PC is an Intel 11900 with a 3090 graphics card and with triple screens, I have been getting 30 fps in London (ultra). I dont have HDR monitors btw When I change to DX12, with no other changes, I am getting 20fps but it is really stuttering, especially when panning. I know DX12 is only a beta but have noticed that others are getting better results than DX11, so I am wondering if there is a reason why I have lost 30% fps?

I've tried to look past what Asobo has given us with the weather but I can't. Most of the US is looking like the LA bason on a high pollution day. The Atlanta area is unflyable under VFR conditions now. At least Florida is spared.

Is a hotfix in sight for SU7, anybody knows something about it..🤔 Should be, i would say - ( missing thrust revers on some joysticks that have worked before with flawless, ground cloud layer/ weather, TrackIR and a lot more but this seems about the issus with the major priority. cheers 😉

Haven't started the update yet so I thought I would ask. If so, anyone know off-hand where custom profiles are kept? Figure it better to make a backup. Thx.

I am having two problems with this aircraft: - starting on ramp, it is not cold and dark, battery’s are on, lights are on. - I cannot get the Garmin 430 and 530 to switch on. Screens stay black. Anyone else experiencing this?

Anyone getting this annoying error on startup? Happens almost every time I've started post SU7. If I click Try Again many times usually it will sync to the cloud and the sim starts up like normal. sync by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr
