Hi. sorry allready if its a stupid Q but when i select real live weather in the map prior to loading the flight i dont get the weather selection features . The option is greyed out in the custom toolbar in flight. I recall some showing the METAR via this menu ? Thanks again Michael Moe

Hello: Ever since SU7 I have no ATC voices. No matter what the AC. I have tried even simple AC such as the C172 so I didn't have to worry about maybe having a volume knob incorrect, but no luck. To be clear, I have ATC in text, but no voice. . I have tried the sound setting as "offline" and "azure", but no sound with either. What other setting would cause this? Thanks, Dave

Ever since the last hotfix (which has been great for my flying experience overall) I've noticed a new anomaly. When I jump to a Drone view and look back at the aircraft, the interior (at certain magnifications) begins to glow kind of a lavender/hot pink color as though it was catching some kind of sunset reflection on interior surfaces. Sometimes, if I zoom in a little, this disappears. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Please have a look at the image below, a screen capture of the A320, and pay attention to the wind speed & direction, and the ground & air speeds. IMAGE The wind has been set to be full headwind, coming from 249°, which is exactly my current heading. Consequently I have 27 kts headwind and I would expect to see a difference of approximately 27 between the air speed and the ground speed (note the altitude is quite low, not in the high atmosphere where the air is very thin). Instead of this, the airspeed is 220 kts and the GS is 216, only 4 kts difference. This is not related to the aircraft, I also noticed this in another one. Did I miss something …

Hi All, Using the MSFS version of ADE (Alpha 21) I'm trying to figure out how to open/edit either 3rd party airports or default airports. My objective is to be able to alter parking position codes to allow better AI parking. In the old version for P3D it was pretty straight forward...you just open the relevant .BGL make some changes and compile. Perhaps I'm missing something obvious but I can't figure out how to open an airport in the MSFS version. I presume I need to create a project to model off but trying to open FLYTAMPAs YSSY .BGL (which I presume is the SYD_Build.BGL file) gives me a bunch of error messages and no airport to model off. Love this plane, but now after the su7 the avionics will only come alive if ready on an active runway,not at a given parking spot. Now all switches work but not carb heat or worse the direct button on the Garmen will not activate any response to load any waypoints etc. uninstalled and re installed software from JF, same problems, nothing said on the JF forum about this, The Arrow seems to be ok but the avionics will work ok but only turns on if starting on a runway? Never had any of these problems before Su7. Any solutions?? or is this only on my setup. No other planes have these problems.

Hi guys Sorry if this topic has already been covered before, I have not found anything about it, My question is, how far away is ATC from the rest of the IA aircrafts? This distance can be modified somewhere? ... for example in the users? I am currently testing AIG offline, with only a density of 15, which in my opinion is not a high density, and the ATC is driving me crazy, it talks every second, or a couple of seconds ... Hi all. Can someone explain to me at a high level how ATC works functionally? By that I don't want a tutorial on ATC. I want to know the mechanics of it. Do you wear a headset with a microphone, connected to the PC, and talk to the ATC in the sim? Thanks, Rob

I think I am reasonably bright, but I simply cannot figure out how to set up even basic views…Some of them seem to be called by different names than I am used to…As are some functions…When I want to pause the program to, say, take a screen shot and I use the “” key, the program pauses but the main menu is placed in front of my flight view so it is useless…How do I do a simple “Pause” without the menu popping up? I can’t determine where the simple “Slew” function is…I want to set the “Eyepoints” but can’t figure out how to do it…It seems that some of the flight controls have also been linked to view commands…I would sure appreciate a simple guide to setting the simplest of…

Since the latest MSFS update a few days ago the throttle slider and rudder (handle twist) aren't working correctly. Firstly the throttle doesn't work in a sim yet it does when I go to Control Options. When I apply full rudder the rudder moves fully in that direction but then returns to the neutral position even with the joystick on full rudder. I have recalibated the joystick in Windows without any difference. I have even tried a differenet joystick without any difference. What can I do next? Thanks John

Hi there, It's maybe my first post here, so just to tell that i'm a old simmer : I started with FS2002, flew on FS9, FSX, P3D v3 and continue to fly today on XP11 and MSFS, so I'm experienced with sim I get. Today I'm unable to fly on my FBW on MSFS, nor any other stock aircraft I tested because I'm experiencing a very weird behavior with cameras : I'm unable to switch cockpit view, from VFR to IFR or landing views, or any other user views with the shortcuts set with keyboard (ALT+1 to ALT+9). I uninstalled it a while ago, but i really want to give it a go to compare to MSFS in a very geeky way, to get a feel of what i was happy with not long ago enough to sink 100 hours into it anyway. (i also have flight sim world, remember that?) But i go to install it again via steam and it says it needs to download some, i think, c++ stuff. My fear, will this in anyway affect MSFS? May seem a silly question but i am in a sweet spot with MSFS and don't want to mess it up... Any idea if its ok just to go ahead and install it again?

OK i am a bit of a noob, more of a sim racer than a pilot. I am trying to use the compass on the top left to follow a flight plan, but it seems to have a mind of its own, sometimes its green sometimes it purple, many times if i follow it it takes me off course from the Nav map.... What am i doing wrong?

Hello Avsimmers Hope I find you well. I was looking for a good VFR route that took me from a small airfield to a beach airport or beach resort and found a fantastic route from Ardmore Auckland or Pauanaui in New Zealand and I recommend you check the destination out. Wonderful. However, I was hoping to find a freeware or payware for Pauanaui to make things even nicer and have only come across one freeware on flightsim-to which hasn't been updated in a while. I have checked the in game marketplace and Orbx with no luck. Anyone aware of a developer with a focus on New Zealand airports or know of a good product/mod for Pauanaui? Cheers

I have a doubt, you, like me, still have the same bad appearance of clouds as of oil. I'm on version 1.20.6.0 and I still see the same horrible effect.

So there's no way to have External custom views, like you can have in the Cockpit views?

I mean of course binding the controllers 😉... I have quite a few strange problems with my controllers after Su7 (not very original) that I decided to make, for a new bird, a totally new map. Not using a default map and changing it where needed. I see with pleasure that Asobo has added a keyboard scanning function that allows now to bind a key or a switch just by using it instead of scrolling a drop down menu.

Hello Its been 6 months since i last ran Fs2020 and after launching the game, i had a 90gb update.. First, 2 hours ago, i was taking off and the Boeing was slow and i can see all details, move cameras are all perfect etc... even at 136 knots, the boeing seems like its going at 10 knots when looking out the window..... Then after 2 hours later, i turned my PC back on, now, after doing nothing, i start my PC and any flight i take now, it is lagging badly. even moving camera views are stuttering.... my have a top spec, i have never had issues with lagging as my pc setup is quite advance for this. For a while i have had major issue to left engine start in other aircrafts (mostly in P3D) and i manage to record an issue i have with left engine fuel valve with the Thrusmaster A320 setup Quadrant.
