Hey guys I wanted to check and see if anyone knows if any sort of autopilot descent works with the FBW A320? I’ve been trying to look it up but have been getting conflicting info. I’ve seen some people say that a T.O.D is calculated and the plane will follow a descent path and others say you have to do it all manually which seems kind of crazy for an Airbus jetliner. Anyone that flies the FBW A320 let me know what you know on the latest version. Thanks!

I have been using U6 since it was introduced with no problems. Last couple of days constant CTD's. Initially at the launch screens but now within a few seconds of clicking Play. (Store Version) Community folder is empty. Might it be a cache issue? (if so what do I do because I can't get to launch - to adjust). Thanks Dean

I jumped in & bought the Connie - there's a big learning curve obviously required. I use the 4 eng jet setup on the honeycomb throttle quadrant to fly it - now my question is is there any way to bind all the 4 throttles & 4 mixtures to a single control - such as say the current speed brake mapped to all 4 pitch levers & say the flap lever mapped to all 4 mixture controls. Just asking as the props & mixtures are on the Flight Engineers panel & it would make it far easier to fly

I have assigned a 250Gb SSD to MSFS. (I thought that would be enough). I have just seen that there is another update of 85Gb approx needed to download. When i tried i was told there was not enough space on the drive! 243Gb used. Surely, all these updates are not all new content, just overwrites for bug fixes etc? Does the program keep previous update downloads? I do have an empty 1Tb M2 but will this be enough!!!!!!!

After years of not flying an Airbus I decided to give the FBW Airbus a go. I runs and looks totally awesome on my new PC! Now all my knowledge about the plane has faded a bit and I am looking at a, what I'd call, 'to do list' for this plane. I can find checklists on the internet, no problem, but I can't find a list that ONLY tells me EVERYTHING I HAVE to do and skips all things you need to only check. In the far away past I made lists like that myself for various planes and published them on the internet, I even made a few for the Airbus, but they are all gone and even though I can find links to them on the internet the links are all broken by now. Since I don't feel like…

Having been quite away from MFS for more than2 months, I really didn't pay attention to theiur dev updates so, I wonder if they ever mentioned fixing the unfamous leaning bug for reciprocating engines ? Can anyone point me to it being acknowledged and listed for upate ? I haven't found any references in my search ...

As per the tittle... I thought I had seen mention to it in one of the SIM updates but haven't found any consistent way of controlling beta range ?

Up until FSX / P3D, MSFS has always indexed the prop torque effects to Vs0, so that above that reference speed / AoA, they vanish. I thought that the "new" FM in MFS would change this, but truth is that any of the aircraft I vly in it still look like totally free from prop torque once above Vs0... Propwash effects on the tail surfaces, including the sideslip induced by propwash, are now modelled somehow, but torque from the engine / prop are still the old style. Any mention to this being listed for future updates ?

I don't know how to use a screen shot here, so I'll try to explain. Select KSFO as Departure, RWY 28R. Select KSAC as Arrival. Select under Arrivals LOC02. Select IFR (Low altitude airways) I used the Bonanza for this set up. I think Cessna 172 will give same results. Press FLY. On the Map Screen to the right either zoom out or use the cursor to display the whole route. At waypoint TRUKN the route forks to DEDHD. If you fly this flight using GPS and NAV mode it will take you to DEDHD automatically. Not Sacramento. Now click on the FLP button and look at the flight plan that's loaded. The first line is totally gibberish. If there is somethin…

My turn <sigh>... Starting the Steam version, I had a message about some discrepancy between the cloud and my computer saves giving me the choice and I went for the cloud. Now I cannot enter anymore the controls options panel. Everything else seems to work. Did the usual routine, empty community folder, looked for solutions on the net, went offline, no deal. It seems that the cloud saves are corrupted. Or something . Did anybody get this and found the solution ?

While I have a complete setup with rudders and yoke etc, I nevertheless also have an Xbox controller which I use specifically for external views. This works fine, but for some reason, that I don't remember seeing before, when I move the camera around and then switch back into cockpit view, I am left with a large white spot in the centre of view. It remains there for several seconds before disappearing. It's rather annoying and wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of it? Thanks guys.

The Spitfire, when I am using a joystick setup ( T16000 ) that assigns buttons to prop1 and prop2 rpm, commanding rpm up / down, causes a CTD if I use the button for prop2 rpm down... If I use any of the prop1 rpm up / down buttons, no problem - only when prop2-specific controls are used. Tested with other single prop ( default ) aircraft and had no problem using the prop2-rpm-up/down although, as expected, nothing happens to the prop rpm in that case. Looks like a FI Spitfire specific glitch.

Hi guys, I've tried everything i can think of and still cannot figure out what i'm doing wrong. I have installed the brilliant aig ai manager and traffic controller beta ( already use it for p3d)I have only installed 3 airlines so far, to check its all working and the fact that i can see these ai aircraft would suggest that they have installed ok.So somewhere within msfs or aig traffic controller i've done something wrong. I followed the user guide and have it setup correctly (i think) but something is not right. In MSFS i have traffic type off ai aircraft density is grayed outGround aircraft density is set at 100 if I have this set at 0 then i have no ai aircraft a…

I was just wondering if they turned a thousand hard core flight simmers loose on the ramp and said whichever plane you touch first is yours for free. How many would go for the F-18 Super Hornet, the PC-6 Porter, the NX-Cub, the Pitts S1S, or the futuristic Volocopter? Which would you claim? Tough choices, no second thoughts once you start running. You have 10 days to think about it. Regards, Ray

I decided to do a quick n dirty repaint for that new RV7. I swear I've got the files and cfgs setup correctly but clearly I don't hehe. It won't even show as a livery. Is there anyone who's a repaint guru who might be able to help? The aircraft is here: https://flightsim.to/file/23192/van-s-rv-7 Here's my repaint if anyone has time to glance at it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ptqq5h2zdt5tah1/RedRV7-RB.zip?dl=0 Oh- I added it via Addon Linker and everything is green - no errors...so it looks like the layout.json is setup correctly.... Milviz's turnaround for updates usually within the first few days with each FS2020 update. I hope all is well on their end as we've had no word about the Corsair (or at least I haven't heard of anything).

I am hoping someone here can provide some help. I tried moving MSFS to my new 2tb ssd. I changed the drive for Steam to look to/move then it basically downloaded and resintalled. More problems are: I still have MSFS in the orginal C drive-how do I delete- I treid uninstalling and just deleting...they are still there. I can't get Navigraph to install navdata in the new location-it says it can't find/access msfs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
