Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Folks I thought that the FENIX addon had overcome the dreadful ground behaviour of aircraft in MSFS but having just done my first flight in it, I was very disappointed to find that it was all over the place on landing and rocking around like a boat with only small rudder inputs, just like the GA aircraft in MSFS. I’ve yet to find an aircraft that isn’t doing this in MSFS at the moment and it may be something I’m doing wrong with my settings; does anyone else find this and if not could you give me an idea of your control settings (sensitivity etc.) because it’s making aircraft unusable in this sim at the moment.

Hello, Is there any way to remove seats from cockpit, at cdu settings when i remove cockpit seats i can't move freely as if there is no seat. When i set zoom to 70(closer to real one) i need to back camera position, but i cant because of cockpit seats. Any tips?

If memory serves, I believe you push the lower left knob on this unit to toggle between COM and NAV frequencies. However, the unit in the sim appears to only have the ability to tune com frequencies and I can't access the NAV ones. Any idea how it's done?

Generally speaking why do we need a world update 10 of the US, that is 5 GB's, when we have a Simulator that is almost 2 years old, and has some outstanding bugs, or fixes still out there. I would like to see ATC and traffic fixed, than see some of these World Updates Don,t get me wrong, I appreciate these beautiful world updates, and graphically the simulator is outstanding, Chip in, what are your thoughts and opinions of World Update X ?

Quick Question: Has anyone had issues receiving a response back from tickets submitted to Fenix Help Desk? It's been 3 days and I have received nothing in response, other than the email confirming I submitted a ticket. I've not been able to even load the software properly since purchase. So hopefully someone can assist, since it appears Fenix help tickets are being routed to the south pole. I’ve trying loading the download to MSFS with no luck. My steam version of the game is loaded to my “D” drive, and when loading the software it has a default path for the “C” drive, in which I did not change per recommendation of the developer. Recently started having problems with the Flysimware 414A and TDS GTN750. After about 15-20 minutes of flying climbing through 17-20K feet the sim freezes and crashes to desktop without any warning or error message. This is repeatable and happens every time. Both the 414 and TDS 750 have been updated to the latest versions. Any ideas?

One of the new cities with photogrammetry in WU10 is Charleston, West Virginia. The City of Charleston now looks gorgeous and very life-like. The developers are doing a wonderful job. However, on my sim setup, the area immediately surrounding Charleston, WV, is now a total mess after WU10. I’m posting a screen capture of what I’m talking about. Could some of you experts check on my observations? Jorg takes a field trip to the Udvar-Hazy Center. I love visiting both of the Smithsonian Air and Space museums. Visited there when I was just a kid, and it was the perfect place to fall in love with av. edit: mention of putting the space shuttle in the sim.

While the Canyon courses are difficult to track at high speed / low alt, I am doing my best to get an "A" on all of those. So far only one remains at "B" 😕 Do you know what exactly drives the "Ghost" plane ? Is it based on other users tracks available "Online" ? Does it refer to previous tracks flown by ourselves ? Or is it simply a "follow me" mode that always flies the same track, suposedly an optimal one ? Hi, I have seen several videos about this issue but I cannot find a video where it explains how to move outside the aircraft but not just in 4 different directions but all the ones I want. Is there a way to do that like in FSX?

The HSI gauge (top left hand corner) is missing in my external camera view. I found a way to minimize and hide the other gauges in Assistance options > Instrument heads-up display - chase cam, but this does not bring back the HSI gauge. Any suggestions on other settings I should try.

A couple of new aircraft on the Marketplace today - Bristell B23 Ultralight the first MSFS plane from experienced X-Plane developer AirFoil Labs and then Socata TB-30 from Azurpoly. Since it was my turn in the new plane tryout rota (and I love microlights and basic military trainers) I've grabbed both of them. AFL Bristell B23 first impressions Exterior and interior modelling seems pretty decent EXCEPT for the dashboard which is really flat and unappealing looking sadly. Anybody have this one from bravoairspace? Last night I noticed when tuned to 108.90 I had no ILS to runway 17. I use a map program (fstramp) which reads from scenery database. It didn't see an ILS either. Reported it to the dev, but they basically said they don't know how to fix it initially and that some but not all users reported this issue. So I thought I would check here with the group. Anybody have a fix? Thanks.

Can someone go to KSYR (Syracuse, New York) and see it they see the same thing I do? I just landed there and there were trees everywhere, including the runways, taxiways, aprons, etc. Is it just me?

I have been using MSFS 2020 since it came out, however, I never noticed if the strobe lights, beacon or nav lights came on. In the daytime they are not visible at all and barely visible at night. I wonder how difficult it maybe to increse the intensity of these lights. After all they are there for high visibility to avoid collision from other traffic.
