I've noticed that while flying the Hjet, my graphics card runs really hot. Around 90 degrees celsius and the fans constantly spin at high rpms. Not seeing this with any other aircraft. Anyone else seeing this? If not, I will have to investigate my setup further.

I fly MSFS about 6 hours per day, so I shouldn't be surprised at a TShirt my son got me for my birthday.

RSR has posted a status update on 737 development. https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/general-discussion-news-and-announcements/198308-17jun22-pmdg-737-development-update-sometimes-you-just-can-t-do-anything-right Summary: LNAV V2 is almost ready, and will release with the -600 and be rolled into the existing -700 at the same time or shortly thereafter. Though he did not give a firm date, I suspect it will probably be 3 or 4 weeks. The new LNAV will be added to the P3D 737 product line, but he emphasized that at the moment, MSFS development is taking priority. Substantial improvements have been make to cockpit animations - in particular the t…

Appreciate your input! Based on your experience, what are the Pros and Cons of buying addons on the Market Place vs the vendor's site? Thank you.

I've noticed recently that my trim is not working in the TBM and Cessna 414. Not sure if this is something that just happened but I can't get them to trim. I've got the trim binded to elevator trim up and down. Is anyone else having this problem? If anyone has the trim working what do you have them binded to? Thanks

Hi, i got the Meigs-Airport from the ingame marketplace (version 2.3) and i like it very much. But i have one serious issue: The runway is way too bright, so that i can hardly see the markings. The rest of the airport (taxiways and buildings) looks ok. It is worse at midday, when the sun is high. I tried to switch off bloom, but that didn’t help. I wanted to post some pictures, but i can't get it done at the moment... I have no such problems with any other airports (stock or payware). It is really annoying the way it is now. Thank you for any help! Stefan Intel 10700k GTX 2060 SUPER NVIDIA driver version 457.51

Bit odd........not really seen this with any other payware scenery. I have a few NZ freeware airports, ORBX Mesh and Auckland Cityscape, I have disabled the airports via Add on linker incase of clash but problem persists. I've not disabled the Mesh and/or Cityscape but wondered if anyone else suffered this issue? Thats the worst of it, there are some really out of place trees dotted around the airport in dubious looking positions.

If I reset all graphics options in General Options to default values by hitting the Reset to Default tab, will only the graphic settings be reset to default or are all settings in General Options (e.g. Data, Camera, Sound etc.) affected? Which files should be backed up before attempting a local reset (e.g. Graphic Settings only reset). Thanks for responding

I am in the UK and having recently returned to the 'Landing Challenges' - all of mine are now set at night - including the Maverick ones. This did not happen when I last visited 'Landing Challenges' and I cannot see anyway to change the time to a day setting as the option is not available in the toolbar. Any thoughts?

Content Manager shows all installations are up-to-date, except: 1) Flyingiron Spitfire 1.2.0 2) JF- Hawk-T1 After purchase, I put their folders into the Community folder, but they are shown as 'not installed'. Why? Clicking onto the info button reveals under More info - "waiting". For what?

Posting this for those who might not browse Flightsim.to super often: user "Kui" has released his version of ZBAD and it's absolutely stunning! https://flightsim.to/file/27011/zbad-beijing-daxing-international-airport You should definitely check out his other beautiful Chinese airports, too! This sim's freeware community never ceases to impress me.

After updating, I put the OCI folder back in the Community folder and ran AIGTC. It opened, did the usual loading routine, and opened the regular map window. Started MSFS, set up a flight, and went back to the AIGTC window to inject traffic. When I opened the window, the message at the bottom indicated it was connected...but with a simulator time of all ones or zeros (something like 0001.00.01.00.01.0000 - don't remember the exact format, but it was clearly not even remotely close to the simulator time for the flight, either for the local time zone or UTC) and the window was frozen. Couldn't move the map, couldn't go to the settings screen -- all I could do was exit A…

TFDi have posted on their website the expected pricing for their upcoming MD-11: Base Pack (which is either the pax or the freighter version, your choice): $89.99 USD Expansion (the other one): $14.99 USD Extended Simulation Package (operational failures, custom failures, partial circuit breaker functionality): $14.99 USD Overall package therefore is $119.97 USD There is no specific remark on whether this is for MSFS, P3D, or both. Since no distinction is being made between sim versions and their plan apparently is to release both versions simultaneously, I would personally assume there might be no price distinction between MSFS and P3D. In thi…

Great news for KPDX fans. FlightBeam just released an update through the MSFS marketplace to fix KPDX taxi ways and runways. Specifically they finally fixed the ILS approach 111.30 called IIAP to KPDX 28R. I did a fly about with my FBW A320 and yes, IAP is indeed fixed and fully functional. 😄 United001

I thought this would have been fixed by now but in my setup when flying a Maverick challenge the white countdown to 'GO' doesn't go away. How do you get the countdown to clear so it's not plastered in front of HUD when flying? If this has already been answered, sorry I missed it. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone I was just wondering what is the most reasonable answer to this issue i noticed after a bit of experimenting. I've noticed allot of FPS, Smoothness, this plane v's that plane topics and this one falls in the FPS category but not in the typical Hardware, weather, AI Traffic or graphic settings, but on location mainly USA and therefore my question is was world update 2 optimized in a slightly different way? I have only one FS PC so my test was not thorough nor by any means complicated and to be quite frank it was brief so therefor ask if some folks on here can they confirm similar experience? After months or so mostly doing my flights in Euro…

Hi, I've been using XPlane11 for a few years but want to upgrade to MSFS but I'm nervous and concerned about all the stuff I read about never ending update downloads etc etc. My PC is just a couple of years old and was built for XPlane11 with VR so according to my IT friend it should run MSFS ok. I also have fibre at home so my internet should be ok too. I've read the forums and understand that Steam is the preferred option for many but I'm still a bit confused about how it all works and I'm hoping someone can provide a bit more clarity for me. Some retailers offer for sale the actual package with CD's. Am I right in thinking that buying and installi…

Hi guys, I really did enjoy the Flysimware Cessna 414 in the last few weeks. However, since the last release (Beta 2.2) the autopilot is super jumpy while trying to keep its altitude. The climb rate varies rapidly -500 to +500 ... making the aircraft always flying while jumping up and down. Is it like that in real life or I am missing something?
