Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I cannot get the 414 to follow the flight plan in Nav Mode. I've got autopilot on, I'm in GPS mode but it won't follow the flight plan. I have to manually follow it using Heading Mode. Anyone else having this problem. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but everything works fine in other aircraft. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks guys!

I stumbled while executing a routine task on the Fenix A320 last night - and can't figure it out 🙃 In a nutshell, found myself unable to set my primary flight plan up properly although all is imported fine from SimBrief, pre-flight checklist all ok, mcdu all good, perf all calculated and so on. All was double-checked, if not triple-checked. I simply wasn't able to select Runway / SIDs / STARs for my primary F-Plan. I would click the corresponding keys but the input would not register. I am trying to move the cockpit camera to a position where I can see the panel containing lighting switches etc which is at the 'rear' of the overhead panel (in the Aerosoft Otter) but can only see the throttles which are at the 'front' (nearest windscreen) of the overhead panel. I seemed to tried using everything possible to move the camera view to view this part of the overhead panel but cannot see it close up only when moving the camera view back. What is the method to view close up the 'rear' of an overhead panel? Thanks. Anyone know how to reduce lag and fps drops from AIG air traffic mod or maybe reduce traffic. Im getting so many fps drops its completely unplayable and im only using one flightplan. Any suggestions?

Hello, A few weeks ago I lost all my settings. MSFS booted like it had just been installed. I thought I'd fixed everything but there are a few things that just don't look correct to me. Please welcome evidence 1 to the stand. When selecting a departure point, the airports now look like this: Evidence 2 is out of DFW earlier... Has my memory just gone to pot or did it always look like this?! And if not, how on earth do I return to reality? Settings are 4k / Ultra / LOD 100 etc... Thanks! Mike

Even though my current hardware works flawlessly, it is outdated and underpowered per today's standards (I had a separate post on this issue). I am planning on testing MSFS on my current platform anyway but here is the question. From a software perspective, does MSFS have any conflicts with FSX and/or its numerous addons ? Directories, operating system settings, shared components, etc. I don't want to screw-up FSX, where I continue to do a lot of flying, as I test MSFS. If anyone has any knowledge on this issue, I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

Putting together a new PC build today. So that means getting MSFS on that new PC. It was bought via the MS Store. Should I try to copy the Official and Community folders to the new PC and let MS/MS Store hopefully fill in the gaps for setting up the rest or just download from scratch. Saw lots of posts/vids on moving to a new SSD/HDD but thats on the same PC. Not much on moving/installing on a new PC. I am ok doing it either way but just wanted to hear from anyone that has done somthing similar, Thx, Clutch

Hi guys, I really, really love the look and feel of the PDMG DC-6. However, from what I read and saw from many reviews, it is quite a FPS eater. But those reviews are mostly a year old. For those who bought the plane, did the updates addressed this? I love the aircraft, I really do. But if it gonna cost me 10-20 fps to fly it and I start seeing stuttering ...than it's a no go. Would love to hear from those who have it! Thanks

As the title suggests, there is clearly an issue with performance degradation when doing flights >10 hours. Could be less, but I've only noticed it with these extended flights. There's a thread that was created on April 11th on the official forum. Looking to see if others have run into the same issues with these long haul flights. For me, flying into Dubai this morning, I noticed over the ocean my frames were dipping into the 30s and would rebound after awhile. Approach Dubai, this became more frequent the lower I went until at one point it hit rock bottom around 13 fps! I started MSFS 2020 today for a short flight in the Fenix A320. I went to work on the EFB and it was displaying a Triangle icon with exclamation and the following message "UNABLE TO CONNECT" and text saying please check fenix.exe is running (which it was) and your antivirus software is not blocking it. Long story short I have been through quite a few combinations of Virus exceptions and even turning my virus off. Changing the file permissions of Fenix.exe and flightsimulator.exe to run as admin. Hello everybody, I am using a 27" 2K Monitor (recently upgraded from 24" FullHD), however I have still trouble with camera view and text size, I actuallly hoped that my new monitor will help a little. When I fly in the Fenix, it hard to read the waypoints on the ND. If I zoom in too much, I cannot see the engine instrument display. Of course I could just move the camera view little to the right, but then it looks odd to me, and taxing is weird. It there a solution for this?

Hi, While the game was updating yesterday, the screen of the computer freezed. I had to restart the computer pushing restart buttom .The update didn´t finish. When I start the game , The installation wizard keeps cheking for updates for severas hours and does not go to the next point. Do you know what could be happenning? Regards.
