Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Have anyone also experienced the loading times of the second screen (after selecting the flight) have increased now after the recent USA2 World Update?. I was yesterday flying from KPNS (Pensacola International - default airport) to KDTS (Destin Executive - freeware addon) with the SWS Kodiak and it took really longer than before to load up the flight. Of course the comparison is made with the same number of addons installed in the community folder.

Let assume that i have 4 buttons, (1 2 3 4). Is there anyway to use (1,2) to select knob and (3, 4) to rotate it? We have altimeter knob, speed knob, communication frequency knob. I want to use 1 to select previous knob, and 2 to select next knob. Then use 3 to rorate anticlockwise, and use 4 to rotate clockwise. Is it possible?

I am flying the Fenix for the first time again after my holiday and the interal cams, like pax looking out of the window, are all gone. Any idea's how to get them back? And while I am at it... STS page shows X BLEED MAN CTL all the time. I can see nothing wrong anywhere. Any ideas what to look at? EDIT Bummer... ha dmy first ever CTD with the Fenix while on final approach...! I can't remember ever having a CTD with my new PC before... Bummer...

hi all, just twiddling with my rudder trim knob on the TCA airbus throttle, could that be bound to the nosewheel steering. self centring could be a good solution ?

I just purchased the Leonardo Mad Dog MD-82 and for some reason I can't get past the registration screen. I purchased from Sim Market and on the Registration screen I put in my email as on file from Sim Market and the Registration Key but all it says is "Contacting Server" for a while then eventually another box pops up saying "The registration program was unable to contact server". I tried running as administrator and disabling my anti virus software but nothing helps. Pretty annoyed I spent $78 USD on a piece of software I can't use. Any idea what I might be missing? Is there any way of customising the PA announcements in the FBW A320? I find the american accents very irritating and to a non american virtually unintelligible. The FBW A320 is now a strong competitor for the Fenix A320 but this is one aspect where it falls short in comparison. Bruce

It's finally time to upgrade from my 8yo Saitek FLY 5, which sticks and doesn't move smoothly! So I've been searching around trying to find the list of out of the box joysticks that are supported, with the mapping already done when I plug it in. All I keep finding is a list of 'great' stick choices, but not whether they would have native mapped controls etc. Does anyone know if/where the official list is of those which auto map controls? I have pulled the trigger and bought an X52 Pro while they were at a good price, but I'm now wondering if it'll do it all seamlessly. So I'm still looking for a list.... Thanks.

Hi guys, I use a set of Flight Illusion Bendix radios alongside a RSG 750 with the TDS 750 XI... I am noticing an issue with tuning radio frequencies...basically on some airports I can't as they are using fractions I cannot get...like 121.23...If I put that into the 750 it defaults back to 121.20... The only way I can do it is to use the in sim ATC which spoils my immersion.. Dave

Hi, would like to ask why MSFS is so sensitive for any GPU overclocking? Even mild overclocking which is confirmed as ok by stress test cause MSFS to crash. Any way to overcome that sensitiveness ?

Love the plane but some of the controls use LVARS and I can't get them to work in Axis & Ohs. Specifically, FLC and VS don't work for me even with the LVARS Marwan posted in the Discord. I'm sure it's just me not knowing enough about RPN but has anyone gotten these programmed?

Hey, I have a big problem with the SDK. I had already imported some models successfully and put them into a custom scenery, but then yesterday I had the following problem: I created about 4-5 new models and converted them for MSFS (as usual) and put them in my modellib. Everything as usual. I loaded my scenery as always in the editor and did a "build all" so that the new models are also imported and displayed. They were. However, the new objects were selectable in the list, but not visible in the scenery - even during placement I did not hold any object in my hand via "one-click-add", although I did not change anything in my build and import process. I was considering a purchase, Nemeth designs – Siai/Marchetti s.205, but it looks a bit "slightly off", after watching youtube vids . I love the layout of the dash, but that is not the flight model. Any one tried it ?

Just discovered by accident that pressing ATC COMM on the MCDU brings you straight to the AOC menu. Or to be more precise, straight to the page on the AOC menu where you left it. Handy shortcut! However, I wonder of the real world button also does this? Related question: pressing AIRPORT on the MCDU shows the lower part of the flightplan on the MCDU: yet again a handy shortcut, can save quite a few presses of the arrow buttons, but also here I wonder if this is how it is in real life?

I've never really got the hang of using the drone at all. Please could someone tell me how I need to set it up to give me a flyby view. Any other tips on how to set it up and control it would also be helpful. Thanks
