Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I'm flying the DA62 with the latest mod.I am getting the message the ESP is off. I don't know what or where that is. Can someone tell me how to turn it on?

MSFS will not start - when staring, it takes me to the Microsoft Store - Gaming Services page, with no other options. I am an owner of the Deluxe edition and have been since the day it came out. I used used it as late as three or four days ago. My system shows the app as being installed. If I go to the store and bring up the MSFS2020 page, I click on "play" and nothing happens. It doesn;t show as being "owned" when I've had startup issue in the past. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

This airport (KLGU) is partly missing from the game (almost no buildings). Logan is a city about 80 miles north of Salt Lake City. Just thought I would post this, still a WIP, release in December hopefully. This will be freeware, 100% free. Note: Everything is custom rendered to about 90% accuracy including both Control Towers. How does one go about uninstalling SU10 Beta. I get to many CTD's, can't do anything without a CTD. I need to revert! Thanks

I thought that I had 'turned' off all 'help' settings which 'bothered' me (and retained those I really wanted) but I still get 'help' when for example I run my mouse cursor/pointer over things such as the knobs on the Garmin GNS 530 (displaying how to operate the knob) which annoys me as it hides where the mouse pointer is. To save a lot of trial and error, is there a document which shows what each setting does and/or a useful Youtube tutorial (I could only find them on tweaking setting for best performance). Thanks

I am having an issue with every plane I fly. When taxiing, and the plane comes to a stop, I cannot resume taxiing until I set and release the parking brake. All my planes exhibit this same behavior. The parking brake is NOT being set...but the flight model behaves as if it is. Any thoughts? I have changed back to default controls profiles for ALL my controllers, deleted and reassigned axis...run windows calibration on the rudder pedals. Stumped in Phoenix. So, with the Fenix coming out I took my first step toward flying an airliner. This is something I have never tried, and I was happy to fly general aviation aircraft. To my surprise it's quite fun and more difficult at the same time, at least until I get the hang of it. I want to get my first paid for plane and figured I couldn't go wrong with one of the airliners out there but I'm not sure which. Right now I can't purchase the Fenix because they don't accept paypal. Any other suggestions out there? I figured if I want a paid general aviation the Milviz was the way to go. Still weighing my options. Anyway, look forward to any suggestions. Happy Flying.

Is there a way to delete just one photogrammetry city without affecting any other? The city of Charleston, WV, near where I live, was given a PG makeover in the last World Update. The city itself looks great, but this PG treatment trashed the surrounding 25 miles in three different directions. The area looks far better now with PG turned OFF. I'd like to delete the PG treatment of Charleston, WV, without changing the other PG cities recently introduced in World Update 10. Is there a way to single out Charleston for deletion? I know I can probably use the drone view to get any angle / view I want of the airplane, but is there a way to get my eye-point closer to the aircraft in spot? Zoom isn't what I want, I want to translate / pan the view nearer to the aircraft. In FSX I think it was [CTRL] [+] or something. I tried to search the boards but nothing came up. Thanks!

I will start by saying that handcrafted donegal caught my attention in the msfs trailers, its really well modelled and it probably has one of the most scenic approaches ever.Are there any airports you like flying to in msfs?

Not sure if I’m missing something, but I was scrolling through the recent MSFS posts and after a few, it went from one our ago to 16 hours ago. Can this be right? Just wondering if a bunch of posts are missing. Cheers, Pete

Maybe you folks here can help me on this one. We all see the world as MSFS streams 'bing' imagery into the sim. However, I recently flew over an area that shows building that have been gone for 10 years, no big deal as I know this can be the case. Once I closed the sim, I wanted to explore bit more that area and I opened Google Maps, sure enough this shows a much more current condition - ok, no surprise. I also was curious about some the building facades so I opened Bing Maps to get the 3d view. Dear All, Quick question as there are a few good airports on sale, (iniScene Heathrow, Origami Gatwick to name a few) My query is this, would buying the iniScene Heathrow be miles ahead to the "handcrafted" one which I already one thanks to Game of the Year Edition MSFS. I am sure it is leaps ahead of the default, but can find no comparisons against the handcrafted. Please could anyone let me know!

Greetings. I have installed Real Taxiways for EU and US and I noticed pinky signs at all airports. I have had this software installed before and never had any issues. After the last sim update airport signs and markings went back to default and I reinstalled Real Taxiways again and now I see all airport signs in pink. Uninstalling Real Taxiways did not help. Any other tricks available? Thanks for looking

Can no longer load the sim (put date in the title as we've had threads like this before). I did a full reinstall and still get to almost the end of the loading bar and it just hangs. Anyone else seeing this?

As I've been away at work for over a month and didn't touch the sim and been consumed with the 737, I am finally putting my hands on the 320. Could someone tell me what I could be doing wrong? When I turn the knob to the Ign/Start, I am not seeing any pressure and failing to start number 2 (or 1 for that matter) Pulling my hair out second night in a row. 😕

Yesterday i decided to uninstall MSFS 2020 because my C:\ drive was about full and re-install it on my 1Tb SSD drive. Everything went well and then after downloading it started up the sim, When it came to the Manager screen it had a menu which I had never seen before asking me a lot of questions about how i wanted it installed. Even suggested the settings based on my computer. After this it completed the install complete with my Community Folder with all my addons included. I clicked on the Bonanza and my home airport KCLT in the World menu and clicked FLY. I presented me with an aerial view of KCLT and the surrounding area, then switched to an aerial view o…

Is there a subscription that would show weather radar on my navigraph charts (ipad, or within fenix for example)? I wasn't able to find one so i thought I'd ask. It would be cool to have weather shown within the world map or something

Hello, I already watched some videos on how to understand rich of peak EGT and lean of peak EGT and whats the reasoning behind it. But how do I lean the 172s correctly (like in real life) for a given speed ? Lets say Im cruising at 10.000 feet with 122 ktas rich of peak egt and now I want to go down to 95 ktas lean of peak egt, how would a real 172s pilot do that ? I managed to do it with a lot of "dead reckoning and adjusting" (which was fun😅) and of course help from the autolean display in the G1000nxi, but that took me like 10 to 15 minutes... I mean I could adjust the throttle get 95 ktas, but then I have to readjust the fuel mix to find peak egt ag…
