Greetings. I have noticed that in about 30-40 min inflight sound disappears. I cannot hear anything neither in he cockpit nor outside. It is like I fly in a vacuum. I did not install any addons lately. Windows sound check is OK, YouTube and other sounds work. It is just the sim becomes muted. Thanks

After seeing a few videos and some reading on this topic, I thought I would share what I use. Some may already use this set up but I've not seen it mentioned. I use https://www.flightconnections.com/ pick the airport I wish to depart, it brings up all destinations and airlines who operate from airport. Then I hop on to FlightRadar24 and get the real flights info, over to SimBrief and record on Volanta. You can also set radius round destination and departure in https://www.flightconnections.com/ for time restraints on flying. Very useful for new destinations to visit, or completing say all easyJet flights out of Bristol or all American Airlines flight out of JFK.…

It's one of my most used aircraft, so I do have an idea on how to start her up. I'm having an issue now where when I attempt to start the engine, the NG won't go above 21, and the engine won't start. I have both fuel shutoff's on, as well as the firewall valve in. If I attempt to start on the runway with the engine already running, I hear a bang and the engine shuts off. I haven't messed with any settings, am I missing something obvious?

In a short development update posted on SimWorks Studios social media, the team revealed that a major flight model update has been implemented in the Kodiak, improving the aircraft’s response to complaints of over-sensitivity. Another major new addition to the Kodiak 100 package is the long-awaited amphibious version. SimWork Studio has announced that the work on this variant is finally almost finished, with modeling and flight dynamics completed. The update of the Kodiak 100 with wheels and the release of the amphibious variant should take place shortly after the launch of the Sim 10 update next month.

Hello again everyone. I've never purchased anything from the marketplace before and have a question. If I create a flight plan useing the in game world map will it auto populate to the GPS on the purchased aircraft? I only ask because I know the PMDG 737 and Fenix dont do this. Hi all, Whenever I load a flight with live weather, I get correct weather data (from the in game METAR) but no clouds...just clear skies. It intermittently works every now and then but not very often. I know not everyone is having this problem but is anybody else having this problem and know how to fix it? I've tried everything I can think of including loading the flight with a preset and then switching to live weather after the flight loads but it still doesn't work. I've also checked my time and region settings to no avail. Very frustrating. I've only recently been having this problem after re-installing the sim to a new Windows 11 computer. Any help…

Apparently, now the Kodiak runs in DX12, but now Aerosoft Twin Otter, apparently doesn't. Anyone run into the same, with the Twotter?

Hi I see on the product page states “windows 10. Use of this product in any other version of Windows is not supported at this time.” is anyone using in Windows 11 , any issues ? It’s on my watch list as heard it’s particularly good in VR 🙂 Cheers

ILS Frequencies Now on SU10 Moving Map

Thought I'd shout out to the fine people in this forum because I am kind of dazed and confused. I've been flying the HJet and the MD82 for the past 30 or so flights (ranging from 80 to 1200 nm hops). Performance has been stellar and because of this I've told myself I won't join the latest beta. I've gone more or less all across Europe during these flights. Even the more congested places such as Paris, Berlin and London. Now I am in the Caribbean (courtesy of OnAir and the missions therein). I am suffering some weird microstuttering over Cuba atm. Yes, this is bizarre. I have been flying the C-310 and having a lovely time. I installed the Fenix A320 yesterday and within about 15 minutes I was taxiing, etc trying to learn the ac. During the subsequent trials during a landing, I noticed the rudder was not working, at all and ran off of the runway. Since I do not have pedals, I have always used "auto-rudder" in the Assistant Options. When I "escaped" and checked AO, 100% of the options were overwritten with the term "VOLOCOPTER" even Heading title between the blue tags. Obviously choices are also greyed out so that nothing is selectable. This is the WEIRD part. I am using a clean community folder and I have since…

Hello all! Why do i get blurry ground textures right in front of me or even very close to an airport? LOD is set to 150 with a lot of settings at Ultra. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the help!

With GSX around the corner and the fact we have Umberto who is active on this forum, I am wondering one thing. With the current sim capabilities, it is technically possible to "integrate" GSX with VATSIM in MSFS? Let me give an example. There are 2 users which will use GSX and are connected to VATSIM. I am seeing of course my own GSX vehicles (jetways, pushback truck, catering, etc.) but I am also able to see other GSX vehicles on the other pilot stand, who also uses GSX of course. Is it technically possible in the future? It would be cool to see that

I use a Elgato Stream Deck and have spent many hours setting up many aircraft cameras in each cockpit. Everything was fine until the SU10 beta. Now nothing works, all the cameras (CTRL/ALT /# 1-0) have stopped working and not only that but L/R and U/D arrows, Esc , the F keys etc all do not work, but when I enter these from my keyboard they all work fine (bypassing MSFS) When I use other program’s and apps without MSFS running the Stream Deck works fine. So there is nothing wrong my Stream Deck. The trouble is only when I am using MSFS. Could this be something to do with the SU10 update I wonder? Hope that somebody may be able to help me with this strange happening.…

Hi all, Currently transitioning from P3D to MSFS. My goal is to fly the study level aircraft like Fenix/PMDG etc...But before I get to my first true flight, are there any things that I should look into to help ease the transition for those already experienced with simulators? Are modules like FSUIPC needed? Where can I find performance tips and tricks etc... My main ask is should I treat this sim as something new and need patience for, or are there shortcuts for those more experienced with flight sims to get to my first flight?

There is nothing more wonderful for a company that its consumers test its product, without it having been finished. In addition, the company does not pay them, quite the opposite: it charges them. Success will come when the company also manages to make users happily affirm that they don't care, that they do it because it is a pleasure for them. The company just has to call it BETA, or FIX... The number of tests and professionals that the company will save will be enormous. Users will happily have CTD, but will happily wait.

I recently watched one of the video tutorials for the PMDG 737-700, and was delighted to see the numerous options that were available for the equipment and displays etc in the aircraft, allowing you to configure each aircraft individually. I configured one with an Easyjet livery, and thought it would be saved automatically - but apparently not, unless I made a mistake. I then switched to the BA livery, and thought I could 'Load from another plane' - when I selected this, I got a load of references from which I could choose, and I am not sure how to proceed from here, or what the references are - other than aircraft - and if so - how do I identify each aircraft reference. …

hi everyone, I've got a couple of questions about the 777 and I'd really appreciate some help. 1, How do you set takeoff power? From what I've found there's no clickspot like on a pmdg product 2, How do I get the correct trim for takeoff? All I get is the CG percentage after loading 3, I've seemingly got no GPWS callouts, I'm stumped on that one. Thanks in advance

This bug has been around for a long time. In the last Dev stream they mentioned it would finally be fixed in SU10. Well it still happens in SU10 beta....

Just curious of the opinions on this topic. Very challenging to make a good poll and I'm certain this one will have its issues, but it's a start. Cheers
