  1. Started by Tomaz Drnovsek,

I never experienced CTDs in MSFS. I'm using FS Realistic for some time now and never had any issues. Last month I also bought HJET, which is a great plane but since then I'm experiencing A LOT of CTDs that seem completely random. I started flying HJET when MSFS had some unusual large numer of CTDs reported by users so I attributed mine to that bug. Unfortunately crashes didn't stop. I wonder if anybody else is having that issue when using HJET and FS Realistic together?

Hi all. A couple of months ago, I got a new simming computer. On my previous computer, I used SimToolKitPro as a flight logger with P3D. I have since moved to MSFS on the new computer. Is there a way to copy my old flight log from the old computer into the STKP installation on my new rig? I'm not sure what file I should be looking for or where to find it. Thanks, Scott

Hello, I have been flying the FBW A32N since the beginning. I am very happy with the FBW A32N so far. However today when flying from Madrid(LEMD) to Palermo (LICJ) and a correct flightplan in the MCDU the Auto Pilots disconnects by itself followed with full throttle the plane is starting to climb. This happened 3 times and had to manually interfere to make everything alright again. Anyone who has an idea why this happened ? Maybe it's something I overlooked ? Thanks

  5. Some do not know, that MSFS has a Post Process 'Video Sharpen' feature turned on by default. This will lead to a 'grainy' look to your simulation. To turn this default off, do the following: Open your BASE FOLDER location for MSFS, and at the bottom you will see a file called: UserCfg.opt Use Notepad ++ to open file. Once open, scroll down to PostProcess In that range, the fourth heading will be Sharpen 1 Make that 1 to a 0, and then press save in Notepad ++ You are done, and can close Notepad ++ I'm sure that the next run of MSFS for you, will be a much more beautiful screen rendition, of the graphics. To turn Shar…

  6. I love the intuitive and elegant way to create flight plans using the built-in flight planner in this sim. The way we can simply rotate the globe, select our departing and arrival airports, change the type of route whether it be direct, vfr, ifr, select the runways or gates if we want, and then hit fly and it will populate the flight plan for us into the FMC/MCDU all in one easy step! When and if the PMDG and FSLabs, QualityWings planes come out for MSFS. I really hope that their FMC/MCDU will support making quick flight plans using this method as well. It's so quick and efficient! Gone are the days where I have to rely on 3rd party flight planning software. This sol…

There was a recent fatal air crash here in Australia involving a home built GlasAir2 aircraft. I hadn't see this plane before and was very interested to find a bit about it's history and performance. There were over 1400 built. https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Stoddard-Hamilton_Glasair_II It sounds like an exciting plane to fly. Does anyone know of a decent model of the GlasAir 2 for MSFS??? Thanks

  9. I have so good FSx/P3D memories of this little airport recreated by the Master Jedi "Misha Cajic" and edited by Orbx. But it seems it's not on its way for MSFS, so I started this little project. Little but huge for my amateur skill. Here are very early pics. Every day is a new day to learn Blender, GIMP and the MSFS scenery editor 😉 If you have airside pictures that could help, please let me know ! I never flew there and only get inspired by my Internet search engine. Agua Dulce (ICAO:L70) is a small airport just up north of Los Angeles. 15 min of C172 flight. It has very iconic red hangars, great landing approach and host Agua Dulce Airpark Ranch FBO wher…

Just wonder how much crosswind this plane can handle? In 25knots I had no rudder authority and was impossible to takeoff.

I was hoping with the last update they might fix the multi-monitor features but they haven't. I have 3 TVs, with left and right at 45 degrees. My seating position is to the left of the center of the middle TV. As you can see below, the yellow line on the right is crooked. On the left you can see how warped the lines look. No matter what offset I change, I can't seem to get it right. Apparently they need to put in a frustrum setting, whatever that is.

The Vision Jet is now available in the MSFS marketplace! I only made a short test flight but I'm already very impressed. The visuals are excellent, the sounds are exceptional and the handling feels great as well. FlightFX did a great job on this one.

Anyone seen that fully animated fun-fair at Sydney Harbour Bridge? I only discovered this by accident because I am making it a habit to include a helicopter tourist roundtrip when i have arrived at my virtual big city destination. Are there more hidden gems like that in MSFS ?

  20. Aren’t all RNAV approaches supposed to have a/p follow a glide slope? some do and others I have to bring down on my own and follow the descent profile… can anyone help me with this. It’s so confusing. this is all being flown with the Longitude with the 1.96 mod from flightsim.to are RNAV approaches supposed to be just for guidance only, correct? The landing is always ap off and hand flown in?

Hey all, I'm working on a Spad profile, and one of the conditions I need to test for is whether or not the Waypoint Information window is active in the G1000nxi. This windows pops up when you are entering a Waypoint into the GPS. I'm hoping someone knows what SimVar shows whether or not that window is active so I can fire off some custom events in Spad. Thanks!

I bought FS Realistic some time ago and uninstalled it after being fairly unimpressed. I would get random sounds playing and so dropped it from my flying. I read at the time that others were experiencing various issues too. I'm just wondering what the consensus of opinion is at this moment in time?

Just purchased honda jet today. I think I have it set up correctly but apparently I dont. The issue is the plane starts OK, both engines are running OK. Then I find I can not advance the throttle. When I advance the joy stick throttle and look down at the jet throttle it is shaking in position and will not advance, The shaking is telling me I must have something set wrong. But I don't know what I have missed. Thanks, Jim Brady

  24. Started by Flyingwrench,

Oh so typical. I just purchased four new aircraft for MSFS 2020, but when I fired up the sim, I discovered the screen flashing in the manner that causes seizures. For me however, the seizures came on when I realized I had just purchased four airplanes that are useless. The last time I loaded the MSFS sim it worked just fine. Now the screen flashing makes it unusable. The three other flight sim I have on board still work as before, which makes me think it is a Microsoft problem, but who would ever suspect such a thing could happen with a Microsoft product? The only information I can find on the subject of screen flashing are old threads about an Oculus problem with th…
