  1. Tom passed away a while back, all his files on his site are locked out
  2. 100% agree, its the biggest turn off, I gave up on the first fixed wing lesson and found another game to waste my time on
  3. They are using the xbox interface for both platforms Its been noted in many video reviews
  4. You can find his files at CBFS https://www.cbfsim.co.uk/files/?de Havilland/mosquito
  5. Yep and even older, some of the Darwin images are 2017 era, as I can see my old car parked in my driveway
  6. Agree, its pretty average and not worth the price. I haven't reinstalled it since removing shortly after getting it
  7. Dodosim ceased development and closed doors nearly 10yrs ago years before Hovercontrol folded, "Bluebottle" the developer could not devote any further time to it They ceased their huey development nearly 15yrs ago Im afraid what you saw if it was a few years back was 32bit or a cannibalized model using other files and gauges
  8. no the dodo wont work in 64bit, the version you might be thinking of is https://secure.simmarket.com/mp-design-studio-bell-206.phtml
  9. by the sounds of it, you may have to modify the model, to accept bmp textures. It sounds like its only accepting dds format What model are you trying to work with? the freeware program MCX will allow you to change the models texture formats and also do patch texture conversions. However you will need to install the FS9 SDK to get most of the core files for MCX to work
  10. If will need to convert them to a bmp format, Fs9 used either dxt3 or 32 or 24 bit format bmp files You can do this with this freeware program https://www.mwgfx.co.uk/programs/dxtbmp.htm However depending on the model textures, you will need to flip both texture and alpha layer before saving them into bmp from dds format

  14. P!s$ed off to say the least With AS16 P3d messed up my install removing all clouds from my install, so I tried to do a repair of P3D using the utility from LM to get my default could settings back In their infinite wisdom, LM's repair utility doesn't repair the original location (ie E drive for me) however installs it into another drive), so far ive used up all of my activations trying to move it back to E drive only to find out I have to do a complete re install after all so I can have it in my desired drive and folder goodbye 340gb and countless hours reinstalling 2 companies are at the top of my to burn down list tonight.
  15. yep ive done that too, about 3times each , the only im short of doing is re installing P3D ive even downloaded the newest version of AS16 instead of the original DL and then patch not to happy with AS16 and sky art right now as its messed up about 340gig p3d folder
