Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi, I was wondering if there is any kind of 3rd party Garmin with a 2D popup panel that can be used for any aircraft, like what FSX, P3D offers by default? For P3D and X-Plane 11 I use Reality XP which is a GN750 2D popup panel that can be equipped with any aircraft. My biggest problem with MSFS is there are a lot of cool planes that don't have a GPS which means I can't navigate worth of s***. I never learned how to navigate using VOR's and I really suck at trying to flly VFR in planes without a GPS. Not sure if this has been already posted, but upon my periodic checking of the Beautiful Model of the World website the newer airports previously locked out are now available to "members". This includes KMRY, LFML, EDDW among others. KSEA and KMEM are showing as ORBX only. BEAUTIFUL MODEL of the WORLD (beautifulmodelworld.com) Also looks like the forum is removed or at least down - there had been quite a bit of drama. Joe

I wish we had an addon systematically triggering 3/5 active GA aircraft in the vicinity of the small and regional airfields where I spawned or that I approach to land. By active, I mean rolling to take off or after landing, doing patterns and on final approach. Today, the occurrence is far too sparse.

One of my favorite airports and would like to know if the Asobo version is good or if I should get the one from payware version from Ansim?

The EFB experience is just something else when you use it on an iPad/Talbet or even your phone browser. I think because the rendering is a lot quicker outside of the sim. But I think also because it just feels more "seamless" and cool to be able to start boarding from your tablet while you program the FMC..

Hopefully, this may interest a few people who might also like to do a similar thing - seeing the beauty of specific parts of the world reflected though MSFS, while feeling like completing a worthwhile goal. Anyone else have constant issues with the Control assignments in MSFS. On the Fenix A320, I find I can get everything set up perfectly with a custom profile and a few flights later the "reverse axis" checkbox does not work and I have to uncheck it to work, then next flight, it works again and I have to re-check the box. I also find the calibration of the Honeycomb goes out after I have it working perfectly in the Fenix, the next thing you know the idle pulls the throttles into reverse, or the slightest forward movement of the throttle (say 10%) pushes the throttles forward to 55%, kind of challenging when trying to taxi the aircraft in a realistic way. Flying the FBW A320 from EGLL - LGAV just over northern France, the sim froze for ages (sound was still playing) and then after a few minutes crashed to fhe desktop. Hi, I'm looking for realistic airline markings for FS2020 that are easily installed and won't mess up the Sim I don't have any add-ons in the sim and I'm not sure how to do it at this time. I’m getting white flashes in the cockpit very regularly (every few seconds or so), even when there is no lightning in the area or any clouds at all. The whole screen fills with a momentary white flash. even with clear skies, I’m getting these white flashes. Please help it’s making msfs unusable.

Hey, it’s been awhile since I fired up the sim and several months now since Nvidia 4000 series and DLSS 3 and frame generation have landed for MSFS… what settings should one use to get the optimal quality and performance at 4K? Is there a recommended driver version? Any important settings in NV Control Panel? For example I recall you should limit your FPS to 116 on a 120Hz display? True/False? Any Vsync needed for when FPS > display refresh rate? In the early days, folks were tweaking the user config file to reduce resolution scaling and I think you needed to edit it to turn on FG. It is frustratingly hard to find the exact spot to zoom the pfd in and out, especially in turbulence. It reminds me of Monkey Island pixel-spotting! I can't see there's an option to map it to a key/hotas button - anyone found a way? Or is there another method I am missing?
