Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi everyone, So I have tried the Gatwick default scenery and paid scenery on marketplace and notice the stand numbers remain incorrect on the core sim driving little nav map and efb to show incorrect stand numbers I know this is an issue with the base sim but is there any workaround to fix this? Has anyone who has installed the subject Black Square package on the G36 noticed changes in the Flight Dynamics, over the Asobo version? In particular, does it fly more smoothly? T45

Is it just me? At KLAN, maybe other airports, some taxi lights seem to be placed in the middle of the taxi way, near the yellow taxi line and in the path of the aircraft taxi line. They seem out of place. Anybody else notice this at any airport? I will try to post an example of it to this thread the next time I fly. Thanks!

This is a county airport located in Portage County, Ohio. It is missing all of the hangers on the south side of the airport. While it does contain the hangers on the north side of the airport, they are not depicted accurately. Also, chain link fences, located mainly on the south side of the airport, are missing. Orbx did recreate this airport for P3D as part of their freeware airports. They did a pretty good job with it. It would be great to see this in MSFS 2020. As Profesor Julius Sumner Miller used to say, "Why is it so?" When I select - A few or scattered clouds in Weather my framerates go up even as I have clouds set at Ultra. The same thing happens if I go to Activities and select the New York flight. My frame rates go up to about 55 fps. Any ideas why?

I have noticed that for several months now, I can use the sim during the day (9am to 3pm MST) reliably, with excellent load times, weather, quick snapping scenery etc. However, in the evening (Americas), it slows to a crawl. For instance my experience tonight was a quick load of the app, but when I went to world view, no weather populated at all - just a blue green shiny. I knew instantly (9:00pm Saturday evening atm) that the sim was unusable. What happens is that, well since weather won't load, I know that the 'go to cockpit' move will yield a paaaainfullllly slow load, that will eventually pop up 'internet data too slow, turn photogrammetry off? I have been a FS2Crew user for ages now and without it, the flight just seems so quiet. I have both A320 versions for Fenix and the FBW which has allowed me to fly with both addons quite extensively. The Fenix was my go to for the last 3 or 4 months but I have seen many updates come through for the FBW Experimental version so thought i'd take that one up again and I have been so impressed now to see that the difference between FBW and Fenix is so marginal you can't even see it now. With FS2Crew I think the overall better experience is in the FBW ( plus I think FBW gives a few more frames). I realize both addons are different in terms of what FS2Crew can pull out da…

How do I revert back to su12 please? as this update has my sim not working well. washed out scenery bad fps, studders. Etc i have tried reinstalling and repair to no avail. thanks mike

I just moved to Greenville, South Carolina. In MSFS 2020, from the ramp, when I taxi to runway 10 or 28 using the only taxiway D, the senerey at each end is distorted and causes the aircraft to run up invisible hills. At runway 28, it casuses your aircraft to crash. Would anyone be kind enough to perform a quick test to ensure it's the sim and not just my situation? I'll submit a support ticket to MS either way, but it would be nice to know if it's effecting others. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I've got both the King Air and Bonanza Black Square Analog's. In both aircraft after about 10 mins of flight the avionics go dark or blank. Can some please explain to me what I'm doing wrong and how to fix this. I've tried both the battery and avionics master with no luck. Thanks guys!

Hi Everyone It was a bit of a pain setting up the Thrustmaster controls and views in MSFS to my preference and i am shortly upgrading PC. Is there an easy way to save these settings to move across? If so where are they? Thanks Matt

Hi Folks, Does anyone know if there's a list of mods (high profile or not), that were removed from flightsim.to in response to the recent kerfuffle over the deletion policy? Anything deleted no longer shows up in the 'my downloads' section which isn't ideal if you're trying to keep stuff up to date to avoid various CTDs due to outdated mods. If you guys post what's been deleted (and perhaps where to find the continuing updates), I can edit this top level post to keep a running list (or maybe there's just a couple?). Hi!, I am wondering that when most of the GA aircrafts and recent Airbus A310-300 have their interiors modelled nicely that I can see youtuber's videos but when I try to get inside the cabin of an aircraft I can not. Even some third party MODs creators they do not provide any clue about how to view their works in the cabins. I can only recall that a MOD for TBM930 was created with one or two extra buttons to get inside cabin, unfortunately that mod does not work with the current version of MFFS2020. I assume a lot of simmers enjoying cabin view NODS, So I shall be obliged if any body kindly tell me the tips or tricks then I can enjoy like others. Thanks a lot

I feel as if all MSFS versions are such a PITA to set up. The key inputs are all excessively time consuming to remove and rebind, the assignment to keys with peripherals is awful, the visuals are hard to tweak. I'm not sure how I should be setting up the visuals. It's i9-13900KF, TRX 4090 24 GB, 64 GB RAM Jetline computer. It came with most settings on ultra and it is very smooth. But when I panned, the cockpit and window frames would lag and tear. So I played with VSync and it seemed to work. But I feel as though the overall textures are blurry. My GTN750 is just showing a blank panel? Have installed it trying \Community\pms50-gtn750 and also tried Community\pms50-gtn750\pms50-instrument-gtn750 any help appreciated, if i go to content manager with either paths it says not installed? used to work and recently updated it I used to see it in my Cessna 310 and my Just Flight Arrows? cheers

Ive tried various thing even downloading older drivers and I still (95%) of the time get a system App crash as I am coming into land. On final and it doesnt matter if its a large airport or small. A32NX FBW. Short flight plans or long ones...its always at the time Im on final. it started like 2 weeks ago or so.

i think iam done with this settig for now, had no end of 5 second freezes and microstutters until i turned it off over London, dont know if its my internet connection which is only 60 MB , but since last couple of nvidia and windows 11 updates its been garbage for me , think i will leave it off and just some city addon packs when on sale !, i even trid the google free thing 8888/8844 ip

Some airports have several Arrivals in addition to "Direct" in the MSFS World Map (when selecting "IFR, low altitude airways"). Why? What's wrong with going 'Direct'? On what basis would one select an Arrival other than Direct? How does one print the NAVLOG in the World Map? (Thanks in advance.)

I have recently installed MSFS for the first time, and as there's a Simupdate 12 coming on March 21, I know that MS recommend to "empty" the community folder before updating. But is it enough to rename the folder to ie "old" community" and then MS will create a new community folder, or do I have to move all files in it to another place on my SSD? Sorry if it'sbeen anwered before, but since it's the first time I have to deal with a Simupdate, I want to make sure I don't mess it up. I would prefer NOT to update since MSFS runs perfecty right now, but I know that's not possible unfortunately.

Need some advice from anyone with IFR experience in Eastern Europe. I was planning a short flight in the FSW C414 from UKDE (right side of map) to UKDR (left side of map) in the Ukraine. The course is basically along L84. Below is a section of an IFR chart from SkyVector. Notice there are airways labeled with the letters L, M, N, P, Y and Z. Can anyone explain what these letters mean, what is the system being used here? Do any of these designate RNAV routes? Except for GPS, I don't see how to navigate along L84. I just found a KSMF Sacramento made by Double-T on Simmarket. I have been using a freeware from flightsim.to so far. I know Double-T isn't Flightbeam, but can someone who bought it comment if it's worth the 21 Euros (in Germany)? I am not aware anyone of the first-tier developers working on that one.
