I have been unable to get coupled VNAV to function at all in the TBM 930 since the AAU1 update. In its previous modded state w/the WT g3000 mod it gave an excellent indication of the descent rate and indicated the next step in altitude. It also indicated the TOD. None of this was coupled to the AP in that iteration so I was really looking forward to this update. I cannot get the VNAV to work using the FSIPanel to place me on a STAR. I have no problem with using VNAV on a normal flight and I am wondering if it has some to do with not reaching TOC/TOD? Using I am place at 10k inbound, the setup enter the star in for me but VNAV will not engage. Just curious if anyone knows how to use it. May not be able too...

Not sure as to why this isn't working for me. But it has always worked previously. I've tried saving the simbrief generated .rte and .wx file to the correct locations. But when loading up the sim and trying to type in KSFOKLAX it keeps saying invalid. I also tried downloading the simbrief exporter tool and for some reason the FMC in the PMDG 737 won't detect the files. Any ideas? Anyone else having severe UI problems after the update? Loading in I'm presented with a grey screen with little white artifacts moving across (they look like cars, maybe). Once I do load in, I get blank grey box where the airport information usually is, and my "Fly Now" button is blank as well. Both are unclickable, and I can't fly. Pressing escape mutes the sound but no pause menu comes up. Super disappointing, I can't fly. Sim felt like it was in a really good place in SU6.

Just got the Orion 2 Throttle f/18 version and it seems to be acting up a bit with the PMDG 737. I am trying to set the axis for the throttles and it doesn't seem to like what I'm doing. Any help? It seems to only control one of the engines and set the reversers when I try to map it. hmmm...

Hello, several weeks ago I removed FSLTL as it wasn’t a program you install that appears in the Windows Control Panel Applications. But despite it being gone it still shows in my sim drop-down menu. Is there a way to remove this? Isn’t there an xml file somewhere that loads apps on MSFS startup? I can’t find that anywhere. I’m using the store bought download of MSFS. Thanks for any help.

Anyone up for a rolling database where some of the most popular former addons from that site can be found now? I've honestly lost track of where to get some of my favorite addons, or check for updates that were once there that I know are still in development and jumped shipped. .... Somewhere..

Before I download the update, how do I backup my settings before they are all reset? I am using Steam.

The last update (AAU1) trashed the TBM for me (new g3000 features not working properly and handling damaged). Other parts of the update appear to be working well and I have no other issues. I am reticent to remove and reinstall the entire simulator just to force a redo on the update for one aircraft. Has anyone successfully forced a redo on an Update or should I just wait for the next update in order to hopefully resolve the issue?

I've been in discussion with a few users over at flightsim.to about the potential piracy/theft of another's livery. Is VNAV actually used by RL pilots? I mean descent is dictated by ATC so whats the point of VNAV?

I am quite hooked on the new G3000 (and G5000). I fly the TBM and specially the Longitude all the time. I know that so far only the Hjet has the G3000 implemented and I do know that they are working on the Vision Jet. But I was wondering if there are any more planes coming up that will use the great AAU1 G3000 (or G5000)? And then specially aircraft that have every know and switch working...

Not sure which forum area this belongs in so mods feel free to move. I have some credit on my MS/XBox account (£10 plus a £15 Gift Card I recently added). However when I go to the Marketplace and select an item to buy, it immediately redirects me to Steam to purchase Flight Sim credit. I don't want to use money from my Steam account, when I have credits on the MS account! Is there any way to change how these purchases are funded or am I stuck with £25 in my MS account I can't use? If I try and buy the add o direct from the MS Store will it work in the Steam edition?

Hi folks. I am trying to set up a Thrustmaster T.16000 for use sith flying helicopters. Everything was going fine setting up the bindings until I got to the collective. There is only one slider on the device so it's what you need to use for the throttle. But when I bind that slider and try to use it for the collective, it seems to be acting more like an on/off button than an axis. Thrustmaster documentation says it a throttle slide but I am really having trouble getting it to behave like one. Any thoughts? Hi, Putting here because the FSRealistic forum seems unresponsive. Does anyone with this version have an issue like me where the reversers come on right at engine start until both have stablilised. Then on landing and rollout the reversers do not stop and keep going after vacating? The actual display reads Idle and the levers are actually on idle and I am taxiing at 10kts but the audio keeps looping until 60 secs or so after vacating. This is on Fenix. Going back to an older version might fix it but I didn't keep my older versions and SimMarket only shows the latest.

...it's actually very good. Have to hand it to the developer. Didn't think he could pull it off, considering it's a "one man shop". Performance on my ancient rig is acceptable, sort of what I would get with the modded Longitude. Lots of cool features to explore.
